Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who should I contact in the event of an emergency?
A:
In the event of an extreme medical emergency situation, contact AIG Assist at 800.626.2427. This is a 24-hour assistance service center.
Q: Do I have a co-pay or a deductible payment?
A: For each claim there is a $25 deductible which is payable to the medical provider. If you seek medical attention at a Hospital Emergency Room, and you are not admitted, you will have to pay a $250 deductible.
Q: What is NPPN and Beech Street?
A: NPPN & Beech Street are preferred provider networks. Your plan offers a preferred provider network of hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers. Utilizing this network will decrease your out of pocket costs.
Q: How do I find a medical provider in my area that is part of the NPPN or Beech Street networks?
A: Check online (see below for web address), call NPPN or Beech Street directly, or call Maksin Management Corporation at 866.723.6674, give them your zip code and they will be able to provide you with current NPPN or Beech Street medical providers in your area. If you choose to go to a medical provider that is not in the NPPN or Beech Street network, you will be responsible for medical costs, which are more than what the insurance company determines as reasonably priced health care in your area.
