Child Care Experience
I babysat twins Valentine and Elise (4mths) from December 2019 to June 2024 twice a month. My responsibilities included preparing dinner, bathing them, playing with them, reading stories, helping with bedtime routine and supervising them. I babysat Charles (6) and Victoria (2mths) from September 2021 to September 2024 occasionally. I picked them up from school and daycare, helped with homework, took Charlie to activities, prepared meals, and put them to bed. Finally, I looked after Loris (8) from July 2023 to August 2024. I prepared meals, played with him and took him to activities.

For me becoming an au pair is an important and motivating experience. Indeed, this experience would allow me to improve my English level which is one of the main reasons why I want to participate. But it is not the only reason ! Be living this experience, I would like to immerse myself in new cultures, learn new customs and traditions that are unknown to me so far, while expanding my knowledge. Additionally, I am excited about creating unforgettable memories that I will cherish for a lifetime, as well as meeting new people and forming bonds that I hope will last well beyond this experience. Finally, it would allow me to develop in various areas, acquire new skills and gain independence.

From 09/2022 to 06/2025 I cared for Lena (6) and Paul (11) for 16 hours a week. My responsibilities included picking up the little one from school, helping the older child with homework, giving them a bath and preparing dinner in the evening. From 02/2024 to 06/2025 I cared for Eva (7) and Camille (12) for several evenings. My responsibilities included: preparing meals, doing activities with the kids, assisting with shower time, helping them with homework, and bedtime routine. From 08/2023 to 04/2025 I cared for Cassiopee (3) and Sybil (5) on occasion. My responsibilities included preparing meals, playing games, supervising nap helping with shower time and bedtime routine.

From January to December 2023, I helped out in Sunday school with children from 4 to 13 years of age for two hours a week. I set up the classroom, led the children in songs and prayers, introduced the lesson topic, read and summarized Bible scriptures, told stories that aligned with the scripture, engaged the children in discussions, and taught the children how to pray. From June to November 2022, I took care of Nosipho (5). I helped the child get ready for school, prepared breakfast and the lunchbox, walked child to and from school, assisted with homework, taught child how to write and numbers, performed light housekeeping, and engaged the child in recreational activities. From January to March 2021, I took care of Yamkela (4), and Philasande (2). I gave baths, prepared meals, tidied the children's bathroom, performed light housekeeping, engaged the children in educational activities, potty training, played games, entertained and cared for the children.

From August 2023 to April 2024, I cared of Ian (4). I had to pick him up in the garden, feed him, take him to sleep, and help him with his schoolwork. From February 2019 to March 2020, I worked for a kinder garden. My responsibilities were to create a safe and welcoming environment for children, organize educational and recreational activities that stimulate their creativity and learning, provide emotional and affectionate support to the little ones, promoting their self-esteem and confidence, and maintain the cleanliness and order of the garden, creating a pleasant and safe space.

I was responsible for helping teacher taking of children taken children to the bathroom, washing children face, preparing bed, preparing food, and take care of them while they eating.
