Child Care Experience
From March 2023 to August 2024, I occasionally took care of Kayla (4 months). I prepared meals, changed diapers, changed clothes, did light house chores, played learning activities, kept the child entertained and put the child down for naps. From June 2022 to August 2023, I took care of Zaxiwe (5) and Lathita (8) during school holidays. I did arts and crafts, played learning activities, played games, did outdoor activities, prepared meals, gave baths, assisted with the children getting dressed and kept the children entertained.

Child Care Experience
From January to May 2024, I have helped out in the Incredible Kids Daycare with children from 3 months to 11 years of age. I helped with feeding, burping, changing diapers, playing, putting the children down for naps and keeping them busy. From April to August 2023, I took care of Mia (9), Phillip (4) and Dazel (3) twice. I helped at children's parties with face painting, set up, developed ways to entertain the children and watched the children while they were playing and interacting with the various party stations. From June to July 2022, I took care of Sophia (3) twice. I helped with feeding, playing with learning activities, putting down for naps, outdoor activities and keeping child entertained.

I have worked at an elementary school since January 2024 taking care of children ages 7 to 14 years old. My duties include assisting the younger grades with homework, reading and counting, playtime and general supervision, maintaining daily register of home time and means of transport. I worked at a preschool in April 2024 taking care of children ages 1 to 2 years old. My duties included changing diapers, putting down for naps, preparing bottles, feeding, assisting with class activities and supervising. Finally, I worked at a preschool from February to May 2023 taking care of 2-year-old children. My duties included assisting with teaching, singing songs, feeding and supervision during playtime.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, taking walks along the beach, stand-up paddling, thrift shopping, watching movies, attending concerts, playing 8-ball pool, listening to music, and hanging out with friends and family I enjoy stand-up paddling, am an amateur horse rider, and play netball. I also enjoy watching rugby.

I've looked after Eliana (9) since July 2024. My duties include picking her up from school, preparing meals, help with homework, doing creative activities, and going to the beach or the library. I was a class assistant form April to June 2024 taking care of children ages 1 to 4 years old. My duties included preparing meals and feeding the toddlers, changed diapers and helped with potty training, I monitored playtime and cleaned up after the children. I've been a Grade RR assistant since July 2024 taking care 5-year-old children. My duties include assisting two students with their schoolwork, supervising mealtimes and recess and sometimes taking them to the beach. I looked after Monja (12) and Lune (13) from July 2021 to September 2022 once a month. I picked them up from school and dropped them off to their home, occasionally taking them to have coffee or do some outings together. When the parents had a date night, the girls would come over to my place and I organized a fun evening for them.

I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world and experiencing different cultures, which is what drew me to becoming an au pair.
