Child Care Experience
I've worked at a child care center since January 2025 taking care of children ages 1 to 6 years old. My duties include feeding, preparing meals, preparing formula bottles, assisting with homework, playing educational and creative games, organizing outdoor activities, changing diapers, assisting with assignments, assisting with routines, and supervising. I've babysat Alana (1) Ava (6) and Arno (10) since March 2023. My duties include assisting with homework, preparing meals, playing fun learning activities, sensory play, keeping them entertained and supervising.
Sports, Interests and Hobbies
I love reading, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors. I'm especially passionate about working with children and helping them learn and grow. I enjoy playing hockey, listening to music, doing arts and crafts, and taking photos to capture special moments. I also like netball and staying active in general.

I volunteered at a preschool from February to March 2025 taking care of children ages 1 to 6 years old. I played with the children, assisted with feeding times and aftercare. I babysat Coenraad (5) and Janru (3) from April to September 2024. I played with the children, did arts and crafts with them, took them swimming, prepared meals, fed and bathed them, and put them to bed.

I want to become an au pair because I want to save money to pay for nursing school. I consider myself qualified to participate in this program because I love taking care of children, like when playing fun games they love and hearing the laughter or baking something like cupcakes and eating the frosting off of the spoon.

From January 2024 to January 2025, I worked at Inverugie Crèche with children from infancy to 4 years old. My responsibilities included preparing and organizing meals, maintaining hygiene, ensuring the children’s safety, providing basic care, and planning and participating in fun activities with them. Since January 2025, I have been taking care of Preylen, a 10-year-old, for 8 hours a week. I help him with his homework after school, and once that’s done, we enjoy doing arts and crafts or watching movies together.
