Child Care Experience
I babysat Tristan (11), Keanu (9) and Arlu (6) in September 2023. My duties included supervising and engaging the children, helping with their routine, and providing general childcare support. I looked after Niko (7) and Nayla (5) from June to July 2023. My duties included preparing/serving meals, helping with hygiene routines (including baths), supporting potty training, doing educational activities (alphabet/numbers), and supervising play. I've taken care of my nephew Elijah occasionally since he was born in March 2021. My duties included infant and toddler care such as feeding, diapering, bath time, keeping routines, playing and engaging, and helping manage emotions/tantrums calmly. Finally, I volunteered at a kindergarten from August to December 2025 taking care of children ages 6 to 7 years old. My duties included assisting in a classroom setting, supervising children, helping with activities, and supporting learning through play and crafts.

I babysat Jaydon (7) from March to May 2023. I prepared meals, cleaned up after him, assisted with homework and played with him outside. I volunteered at an aftercare center where I assisted children ages 7 to 13 years old with homework, playtime, and daily routines. I looked after Jamal (7) and Zano (9) from February to December 2024. I helped them with homework and prepared meals. Lastly, I took care of my younger siblings since they were babies from May 2016 to February 2019 every day. I changed diapers, fed them, put down for naps, did tummy time and bathed them.

I enjoy spending my free time reading, experimenting with new recipes and cuisines in the kitchen, and expressing my creativity through arts and crafts, especially painting and DIY projects.

I want to become part of the au pair exchange program because it offers a unique opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, improve my language skills. As an au pair, I would have the chance to experience life from a different perspective, understanding customs and traditions.
