Child Care Experience

From October 2025 to April 2026, I took care of Arthur (7). I picked up from school, prepared food, played and helped with homework. From May to October 2025, I took care of Jose (1) and Alfonso (4). I gave baths, played, prepared food, and completed daily routines. From March 2023 to July 2024, I took care of Barbara (6). I played, took care of the child, prepared meals, and helped with daily routines.

Becoming an au pair in the USA combines my passions for working with children, language learning, and cultural exchange. I want to fully immerse myself in American culture, improve my English, and share my Brazilians traditions with a loving host family. I am highly qualified through my childcare experience. Since the age of 15, I have cared for children from 6 months to 8 years old, managing daily routines and creating fun, educational activities. I also assisted at a local kindergarten, gaining valuable experience with larger groups under the guidance of professional teachers. My greatest strengths are adaptability, patience, and responsibility. I am hardworking, creative, and mature, and I am fully prepared to support my host family while providing a safe, caring, and positive environment for the children.

Child Care Experience

I took care of children ages 5 to 8 from January 2026 to July 2026 by providing supervision, playing, organizing activities, assisting with meals, and ensuring their safety. I took care of children ages 1 to 4 at the daycare from February 2025 to July 2026 by supervising hygiene, helping with meals, organizing sensory stimulation activities, and engaging them in play. I took care of Livia (age 4) from January 2024 to December 2024 by reading stories, playing, preparing meals, providing care, and ensuring her safety.

I cared for a group of 6–7 students three times a week from March 2025 to November 2025, where I organized educational activities, ensured their safety, and helped with meals. I cared for Jose, a newborn, every day from December 2024 to February 2025. My responsibilities included preparing bottles, changing diapers, giving baths, accompanying him to doctor’s appointments, and helping with his nap routine. I cared for Isabella, who was 10 months old when I started, from August 2022 to September 2026 once or twice a week as needed. My responsibilities included bathing, feeding, changing diapers, taking her to daycare, helping with her nap routine, and assisting with school activities.

My hobbies include reading, bodybuilding, painting, and swimming, especially enjoying sunny days at the swimming club with my niece.

I want to become an Au Pair because children have always been an important part of my life. Growing up in a large family, I began babysitting as a teenager and discovered how much I enjoy caring for children and supporting their development. My strong interest in healthcare inspired me to take courses in first aid and childcare, ensuring that I can provide safe and responsible care. I love the world of children, their imagination, games, questions, and the joy of watching them learn and grow. With my experience, preparation, patience, and genuine affection for children, I believe I am well-suited for this role. My goal is to be someone children can trust, learn from, and create happy memories with.

I took care of Anna Clara (5 years old) from October 2025 to August 2026, Monday through Saturday. My responsibilities included preparing meals, playing with her, helping with homework, supervising activities, and occasionally taking her to school. I took care of Heitor (8 months old) from January 2025 to May 2025, Monday through Friday. My responsibilities included feeding him, changing diapers, playing with educational toys, reading books, singing songs, helping with naps, taking him for walks, and supporting his early development through age-appropriate play. I took care of Eduardo (5 years old) from June 2018 to February 2019, Monday through Friday. My responsibilities included playing games with him, reading books, doing fun activities together, and helping with his daily routine.

My hobbies include going to the gym and staying active, playing volleyball and beach volleyball, riding motorcycles, traveling, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, learning English, and watching movies and TV series.

For me, being an au pair is a wonderful opportunity to combine my love for childcare with my dream of improving my English, experiencing a new culture, and becoming more independent. I worked at a daycare center from April 2022 to January 2023 taking care of children ages 8 months to 3 years old. My responsibilites included feeding, diaper changes, and putting them down for naps. I worked at a kindergarten from March to December 2023 taking care of children ages 1 to 5 years old. I fed and bathed the children, changed diapers, did fun activities and supervised playtime. Finally, I worked at another kindergarten from September 2024 to July 2026 taking care of children ages 1 to 7 years old. My responsiblities included bathing the children, changing diapers, helping with meal times, and doing activities with the children.

I consider myself qualified to participate in the EurAuPair program because of my extensive childcare experience, including many hours spent supporting children in day care centers and kindergartens. These experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and how to create a safe, organized, and engaging environment for children of different ages. My strengths include clear communication, adaptability, and empathy. I am also energetic, creative, and able to stay calm in unexpected situations. I believe these qualities will allow me to contribute positively to a host family while sharing my own culture and learning from theirs.

I cared for Maria, who was 5 years old, from April 2024 to November 2024. I supervised her, prepared meals, helped with bathing and dressing routines, and got her ready to go to kindergarten. I cared for Pierre, who was 4 years old, and Maria Stella, who was 2 years old, from December 2022 to February 2023. I helped with their morning and hygiene routines, prepared meals, woke them up, and got them ready for the day. I cared for Theo, who was 6 years old, and Tulio, who was 10 years old, from January 2019 to January 2026. I supervised the children and prepared and served meals. From July 2026 to September 2026, I worked with children ages 2 to 15 at a dental office six times per week. I assisted with X-rays, cleanings, making molds for orthodontics, and other activities involving children.

From 03/2021 to 06/2022, I took care of Rodrigo (2 years old) daily, played with him, prepared his meals, helped with his daily routine, and made sure he was safe and comfortable. I also spent time with him doing activities and keeping him entertained. From 04/2018 to 12/2018, I took care of Jonathan (3 months old) daily, gave him his bottles, changed his diapers, helped him sleep, and kept him safe and comfortable. I also spent time with him and helped with his daily routine. From 03/2023 to the present, I have worked weekly with a group of children ages 3 to 12, painting their faces, talking and interacting with them, making them feel comfortable, and keeping them entertained during the activity.
