Child Care Experience
I babysat Jenna-May (7) and Kayden-John (2) from September 2012 to August 2018 on weekends and other occasions. This included feeding them, caring for them, putting them to sleep, playing with them, and teaching them. From June 2015 to December 2016, I watched Mikailah (8), Dimitri (8), and Georgios (6) for 20 hours a week. I helped them with homework, making them meals, and taking them to and from their activities. Since January 2017, I have watched Xander (9mths) over weekends, holidays, and sometimes weekdays. I feed him, play with him, change his diaper, put him to bed, take him to swimming classes, and drive him to and from his activities. From August 2017 to February 2018, I watched Ellen (4) and Elizabeth (6) for four hours a week. I would first pick them up from home, drive them to dance and swimming lessons, and help them change after their lessons. Lastly, since August 2016, I have watched Calvin (9) three times a week. This included transporting him to and from school, preparing meals for him, and helping him with his homework and speeches.

I want to be an au pair because everything I do in life should make a difference. I would like to impact these children's life for the greater good, so they can make a difference in return. I also think it's important to understand different viewpoints and cultures in life in order to make better, well thought out decisions, and the host family can learn from me and I can learn from them. I would ensure that the children I encounter are treated with respect and surrounded with love and positivity.
