I want to be a part of the au pair program because it would mean that I would get the opportunity to be a part of a new culture and new way of life. I would get to learn about different people in a way that is not possible through social media, documentaries, or word of mouth. I enjoy working with children and have experience working with a diverse group of children.

I want to become an Au Pair because I love children and I see it as great challenge to au pair in America. I want to gain knowledge about American culture and also teach my host family more about South African culture as well. I have worked with children of all ages and I always try to relate to them. I am a very caring and loving person, but also very determined and goal-oriented. I have good values and manners. I believe that I am a great candidate for this program and I can't wait to be a big sister to my host kids.

I want to become part of an American family because I absolutely love young children which is why I have studied a degree in childhood development. As a 4th year student, I just completed 20 hours of practical teaching and I have thoroughly enjoyed guiding them, bonding with them, and seeing them develop and this is what I would like to do more of as an au pair. I want to be able to travel as well as learn from different people in a brand new setting. I feel like my biggest strength is patience as I believe that children need to develop at their own pace.

This would be a wonderful opportunity to experience another country, meet new people and experience a new culture. I absolutely love children and it would be lovely working and caring for them whilst experiencing a new culture. I am infant qualified, have a lot of childcare experience and I believe my responsible, hard working and caring personality makes me qualified to participate in this program.
