Child Care Experience
From 04/2024 to 03/2026 I cared for 3 children ages 4-8 for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for feeding, changing nappies, planning sensory and other age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, cooking, playtime, arts and crafts, outdoor play, swimming with children, and baking cookies. From 03/2023 to 03/2026 I cared for children ages 3 months to 6 on occasion. I was responsible for feeding, changing diapers, outside play(4-6 year olds), arts and crafts(4-6 year olds), and sensory play.

Child Care Experience
From October 2023 to February 2024, I did an internship at an occupational therapy center taking care of children ages 4 to 7 years old. My responsibilities included preparing snacks, taking them to and supervising children at the playground, comforting children, assisting them with tasks, playing with the children, singing and reading to them, cleaning up, buying groceries, helping the children get dressed, and planning and preparing arts and crafts. During my internship, I supported children with developmental delays, motor skill difficulties, sensory processing issues, anxiety, and attention or behavioral challenges such as ADHD. I did another internship from April to July 2024 taking care of children ages 3 to 11 years old. My responsibilities included playing with the children, cleaning up, supervising the children around animals such as dogs, horses and chicken, planning, preparing and doing arts and crafts activities, comforting children, observing the therapist during their work. I worked with children who had speech and language delays, learning difficulties, social-emotional challenges, and developmental disorders. Finally, I babysat Lily (9) and Samuel (5) from March 2023 to February 2026 . I looked after them at the playground, played with them, drew pictures with them and cleaned up after them.

I want to become an au pair in the United States because I see it as a unique opportunity to get to know many new people and cultural exchange. Another important motivation for me is my genuine enjoyment of spending time with children. Through my school experience and personal life, I have had many opportunities to work with children in many different settings. I value the opportunity to support their development, creativity, and confidence in a meaningful way. Being an au pair is not just about childcare for me. It is about becoming a positive role model and building a trusting relationship. My duties included supervising and playing, preparing meals, bath time support, and bedtime routines. I volunteered at a daycare center from September to December 2025 taking care of children ages 5 to 13 years old. My duties included supervising and engaging children in activities and assisting with lunch.
