Find a Spanish-Speaking Au Pair for Your Family
The best time to learn a language is when you’re young. Children have a natural adaptability — they can pick up on and mimic accents much better than adults and they’re open to learning without fear. They attempt the right words and if they don’t get them, they try again next time.
If you want your child to learn a foreign language, often the best way to do it is through interaction. Children learn best when they experience something, and being immersed in a new language could be the smartest way to teach your little one something new.
Spanish is an excellent choice. Millions of people in the United States speak this vibrant Latin language. As our country becomes more culturally diverse, knowing Spanish can be a valuable life skill.
Help your children learn to speak the language by finding a Spanish-speaking au pair. While this is an English-speaking program (so English must be the main spoken language at home), you may ask your au pair to speak her native language when caring for the children, and for families with school-age children an au pair can also help with homework for their language class. When you bring an au pair into your home, you get someone who will interact with your kids on a daily basis. A Spanish-speaking live-in nanny will help your children learn naturally. Instead of forcing them into a classroom setting to do their language studies, you can simply send them off to the library, museum or even a park.
When your Spanish-speaking au pair talks to your kids, they will gradually pick up the language.

I would like to participate in this great exchange mainly because I feel qualified to assume the responsibility of taking care of the little ones of a future host family. I would love to share that cultural experience, in which I learn from them, their customs, traditions, gastronomy and for them to know a little about mine, also because I consider it to be a great opportunity for my personal growth, to immerse myself in the language and improve my skills. I am a person who adapts easily to any environment, meeting and sharing spaces with new people is not a problem for me, since I consider that there is always something good and positive to learn from others, this being part of my strengths, among others such as my creativity, communication since I consider it completely necessary and important, my empathy, since I like to connect and understand people's points or feelings.

Teaching them values and learning hundreds of things, living the experience with them would be an honor, they would learn as much from me as I do from them. I know how to cook delicious dishes to them, I love spending time with them, and I would like to apply my experience to new horizons. I want to be an Au Pair because I love working with children and spending time with them. I also enjoy playing with them, helping them with their homework, baking, and learning different things together, such as teaching them how to ride a bike, being there when they take their first steps, and being present in the most important moment of their lives, their childhood. Another reason is that I see this program as an opportunity to improve my English while traveling and get to know different places and people. I’ll be a great Au Pair for your family because I would give your children lots of love, protection, and care. Also, I am a very responsible, dedicated, loving, careful, and patient person with children. Last, I have a lot of experience taking care of children of all ages, value good communication with both the parents and children and try to find the best solution to problems.
