Child Care Experience

From January 2023 to December 2025, I occasionally looked after a Nacho with Down syndrome between the ages of 7 and 9. We spent time doing activities he enjoyed, such as playing board games and other games, making arts and crafts, reading books together, and playing in the garden. I also prepared snacks, kept him company, and made sure he was always supervised and having a good time. I looked after Ismael (8) from Janaury 2023 to Decemebr 2025 occasionally. . My responsibilities included helping with homework after school, preparing snacks, playing games, going to the park, spending time in the garden, and supervising him while swimming in the pool. I also helped with his evening routine whenever needed. Finally, I looked after Silvia (13) from January to September 2026. My responsibilities included helping her with her homework and studying with her before exams. I also picked her up from extracurricular activities when needed, spent time talking and playing games with her, and kept her company after school.

I want to become an au pair in the USA because I would like to improve my English, experience a new culture, and grow as a person. I love the United States culture, and I believe living with an American family is the best way to learn about their daily life while sharing my own culture. I think I am a good candidate for au pair because I am responsible, patient, and caring. I have experience taking care of children with Down syndrome, which has taught me to adapt to each child's individual needs. I am also organized, calm, and trustworthy. I enjoy spending time with children, helping them learn, and creating fun activities. positive attitude, willingness to learn, and love for cultural exchange will make me a great au pair.

Child Care Experience

I took care of Mia, 9 years old, from September 2021 to May 2022, spending some afternoons with her each month. I picked her up from school, took her home or to the park, helped her with homework, prepared dinner, helped with her evening routine, and put her to bed. We also enjoyed playing board and card games, doing crafts, making bracelets, dancing, and having girls’ nights with face masks, popcorn, and movies. I took care of Lucia, 9 years old, and Candela, 5 years old, from September 2025 to June 2026. I picked them up from school, took them to the park, helped with homework, played with them at home, prepared dinner, helped them get ready for bed, and read them stories before they went to sleep. I took care of Gala, 7 years old, and Liam, 18 months old, from January 2026 to June 20. I picked them up from school and daycare, prepared snacks, changed Liam’s diapers, played with them, read stories, sang songs, helped with bath time, prepared dinner, and got them ready for bed. I took care of Ivet and Gisela, both 6 years old, during July and August 2024, three to four times a week. I looked after them during the summer, taking them to the beach, swimming pool, and park, and we enjoyed playing games, riding bikes, doing crafts, making bracelets, singing, dancing, and playing in the garden. I also prepared their meals when needed and stayed with them during mealtimes.

I want to become an AuPair because I have always loved spending time with children, and I think it is the perfect opportunity to combine this with many of the things I love. I have always loved travelling and discovering new countries and cultures, and I would like to experience everyday life in the U.S. I also want to improve my English before starting my Global Studies degree, which is taught entirely in English. I feel qualified for the EurAupair program because I am responsible, caring, and independent, and I am ready to take on the responsibilities of being an au pair. I am also open-minded and excited to become part of a new family and learn from them. My strongest qualities are that I am patient, sociable, and adaptable.

Child Care Experience

Form February to April 2021, I worked at a children's recreational center as a trainer taking care of children ages 4 to 10 years old. I organized and supervised the recreational activities, and ensured a safe environment for them supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing. I volunteered for a foundation from June to October 2025 taking care of children ages 1 to 17 years old. My responsibilities included feed and bathing the younger children, doing different tasks with all of them, and taught different academic topics. I babysat Antonia (8) and Rafaela (5) form June to December 2021. I helped with schoolwork, took them to train, prepared food for them, dressed them and helped organized the house. Finally, I worked for a sports department from June to December 2023 taking care of children ages 5 to 17 years old. I was a sports monitor organizing recreational and sports activities for the children.

I want to become an au pair because I truly enjoy working with children and learning from different cultures. I consider myself qualified because I have experience caring for kids of different ages, and I am responsible, patient, and empathetic. My strengths include being very organized, creative, and able to handle new situations with positive attitude.

Child Care Experience

From March to October 2025, I took care of Aaron (7). I prepared food, took care of the baby's hygiene, put the baby down for naps, and played with the baby. From October 2024 to February 2025, I helped out at Garabatos Kindergarten with children from 1 to 7 years of age. I supervised, organized games, served snacks, helped with homework, controlled television time and accompanied the rest routine. From January to August 2023, I took care of Sofia (6). I ensured the safety of the child, did recreational and educational activities, prepared food, helped maintain daily routines, and informed the parent of any new developments. From July to November 2022, I took care of Mia (6) and Mariana (6) three days per week. I played with the children, prepared the children for bed, read books, and provided a caring and safe environment.

I would like to participate in the Aupair program in the US, because I am passionate about working with children, teaching them a little of Colombian culture and why not teach them to speak Spanish. Living with an American family will also allow me to improve my English and discover a different life from the one I lead. It is a unique opportunity to create friendships and unforgettable memories, I am passionate about sharing with family, making desserts, making smiles and learning new things every day. I've looked after Matias (6) since May 2024. I play with him and prepare meals for him. I babysat Eren(5) and Luca (12) from January to September 2025. I took them to and picked them up from school, helped with homework and organized activities for them. I've been a volunteer at a local church since April 2024 taking care of children ages 1 to 12 years old. I helped with Christian education, prepared snacks, and organized activiteis for the children. Finally, I babysat Kiara (1) from August to Decembe r2025. I prepared snacks and bottles, changed diapers, took her for walks and made sure her needs were met.

I’ve always been fascinated by how environments and cultures shape the way we see the world. Throughout my life, I’ve stepped outside my comfort zone many times, and I know that it transforms you. That’s why I believe being an au pair can change me: immersing myself in a new language, home, and way of life, improving my habits while contributing to a family that welcomes me as one of their own. It’s an adventure I look forward to with more excitement than fear. This connects with something essential within me: caring for children. I want to be like an older sister to them, turning everyday moments into something special—turning chores into games, coming up with creative projects, or simply being there to listen. Child Care Experience

From October 2020 to October 2024, I cared for children and teenagers aged 5 to 16 years old three to five days per week, supervising children, organizing games, sports, and recreational activities, assisting with meals and hygiene, maintaining safety and discipline, managing group dynamics, resolving emergencies, and communicating with parents and coordinators. From August 8, 2022, to August 13, 2022, I cared for a group of girls aged 5 to 8 years old, supervising daily activities, organizing games and recreational programs, supporting feeding and hygiene routines, ensuring safety, managing the group, and encouraging teamwork and positive social interaction. From June 2023 to July 2023, I provided childcare for Aaron Garcia, which was 2 years old, preparing meals, changing diapers, assisting with hygiene, maintaining sleep routines, and engaging the child in age-appropriate play and activities.

Child Care Experience

I took care of Sara, an 8-year-old girl, from June 2021 to July 2022. My responsibilities included taking her to and picking her up from school, giving her lunch, preparing and serving snacks, checking her daily school activities, and guiding her with homework. I also engaged her in different activities such as playing games, doing handicrafts, solving puzzles, and enjoying board games together. From November 2023 to February 2024, I cared for Dulce, a 2-year-old girl. I picked her up from kindergarten, gave her lunch, helped with school-related activities, and played with her. We did various creative activities she enjoyed, such as painting and making crafts. I also got her belongings ready for the next day, made her dinner, and helped her prepare for bed. Currently, since September 2024, I have been taking care of Ammy, a 6-month-old baby. My duties include bathing her, feeding her, changing diapers, helping her take naps, and monitoring her while she sleeps.

My responsibilities included ensuring child safety, assisting with personal care and hygiene routines, preparing meals, doing educational activities and maintaining an organized, clean environment. Lastly, I took care of Maximiliano (3) and Dulce Maria (4) from July to August 2024. I supervised them, ensured their safety, did fun activities, and cleaned up after them.

I babysat Guillermo (9) and Nicolas (9) from September 2024 to September 2025. I prepared meals, helped with homework and personal hygiene, took them to the cinema, the park and organized activities for them. From January 2024 to January 2026, I took care of Marcel (1) twice a week and during vacations. I picked up the child from daycare, prepared meals, gave baths, played and took the child for walks. From August 2022 to April 2024, I took care of Martin (9) during summer vacations. I prepared meals, helped with homework, organized activities, entertained, took the child to soccer practice and helped with bath time and personal hygiene.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like going out, meeting new people and staying socially active. I study business. I also enjoy doing sports, eating healthy and living a balanced lifestyle. In my free time, I like to read. When I was younger, I did athletics for three years and played volleyball for four years. Currently, I enjoy going running and playing paddle with my friends.
