Find a Spanish-Speaking Au Pair for Your Family
The best time to learn a language is when you’re young. Children have a natural adaptability — they can pick up on and mimic accents much better than adults and they’re open to learning without fear. They attempt the right words and if they don’t get them, they try again next time.
If you want your child to learn a foreign language, often the best way to do it is through interaction. Children learn best when they experience something, and being immersed in a new language could be the smartest way to teach your little one something new.
Spanish is an excellent choice. Millions of people in the United States speak this vibrant Latin language. As our country becomes more culturally diverse, knowing Spanish can be a valuable life skill.
Help your children learn to speak the language by finding a Spanish-speaking au pair. While this is an English-speaking program (so English must be the main spoken language at home), you may ask your au pair to speak her native language when caring for the children, and for families with school-age children an au pair can also help with homework for their language class. When you bring an au pair into your home, you get someone who will interact with your kids on a daily basis. A Spanish-speaking live-in nanny will help your children learn naturally. Instead of forcing them into a classroom setting to do their language studies, you can simply send them off to the library, museum or even a park.
When your Spanish-speaking au pair talks to your kids, they will gradually pick up the language.

I have been enjoying a great part of my life with children, they are little people who find everything special and exciting. They see the world as a great adventure and I want to show them the beauty of this world and how to enjoy being a healthy and happy person. That´s the reason why I feel that I am an indicated person to become in an Au Pair because with my perspective I will help the children at my charge to discover the different adventures in their process of becoming a responsible and blissful adult. However, I know that being an Au Pair isn't an easy job, there is a lot of responsibilities when you are in charge of a person, more when this person is a child. Even so, I have acquired enough experience to know what to do ever keeping calm and looking for a solution instead of taking a bad disposition.

I want to be Au Pair because I believe that living with another family in a different country will help me grow in many cultural, personal, and academic aspects and I think that kids are people from whom I can learn a lot of things, and I consider it because I love learning new things every day and practicing with kids sounds like the best plan ever! Also, taking care of them can give me a more real point of view about another culture. The thing that excites me the most about being an au pair is that I believe that this job gives me the opportunity to have a home where I can be the older sister of a family and share incredible moments and many lessons with incredible people. Childhood is a fundamental stage in life, that is why day by day I have become passionate about sharing all my knowledge with children, having the fortune of being part of their academic and sports training, the main basis for which I want to share my qualities. Being part of this exchange will allow me to meet new friends and be part of a new family. It would be an opportunity to face new challenges. Being an au pair also allow me to know myself, what I enjoy and what I do not enjoy doing. It would allow me to fulfill my dreams of working with children, seeing them do things for the first time like walking, rollerblading, biking and many more. I know that the Au Pair program is a great opportunity to live with people from other cultures since people from different countries with different customs live in the USA. It combines two of my favorite things which are children and cultures and being able to spend time with a family with different customs than mine will be a very enriching experience for me. I feel that my strengths are the fact that I am very patient, loving, active, and attentive, it will not be a difficult task to be aware of everything they need and when they need it.
