Child Care Experience
From June 2018 until August 2019, I took care of Johan. I helped him with his homework such as presentations, exhibitions, explorations of new topics, and practice the vocabulary. I also supported him in English, practiced speaking and reading as well. From February 2019 until December 2019, I took care of Angel: I assisted him doing his homework, read with him, listened to English songs, painted with him, played in the park with him, and did other fun outdoor activities. I also prepared his meals and helped him cleaning up his room. From September 2019 until November 2019, I took care of a group of children. I was assisting them with their school activities, helped with homework and exercises in English, did arts and crafts, and created new exercises and activities in English for the group and spend time playing with them.

I want to be an au pair because I like to spend time with the children and I feel able to teach them all the things that I have learned and that I will continue learning, for me it is very important to communicate something that can benefit others, that they can learn good things from me, that’s why I like to spend time with them and answer all the questions they have about the world and everything that comes up when they grow up. Children are curious and very intelligent and it is very important to give them the best so they can grow up with the best values, knowledge and skills. I spent a few months in childcare and learned a lot from them, so I want to do a cultural exchange that allows me not only to share with incredible children, but also to learn from a new culture, to improve my level of English, meet new people and places, have a different life and leave my comfort zone. Additionally, I did a first-aid course and learned how to give assistance to babies or children in case of an emergency. I like sports very much and although I don’t have a certificate as a coach, I am very good at swimming, skating, or cycling so I could teach your children very well. I taught English for some months, so I learned to teach with love and patience, using materials accessible to children, such as drawings, games, paintings, books, puzzles, and readings. I like crafts a lot and I have a great ability to paint or make crafts like origami.
