I thought about getting to the USA for a long time, because I always saw videos photos and more about people who live there. I find the USA fascinating and would love to experience the culture and traditions. Furthermore I love spending my time with children, playing with them or doing other things and more with them. This makes me happy, because I see those smiling faces. Then I watched some videos online, where others spokes positively about being an au pair and I researched what it is exactly about. I took care of the child, prepared food, made sure the child maintained good personal hygiene, helped with homework, played with the child, picked up from Kindergarten and took the child back home to spend time with the child until his mother arrived from work. I decided to take part in this exchange program because I had never been outside my home country before. One day, while having coffee with a friend, I shared how much I wanted to see the world. She suggested I consider an Au Pair exchange program, especially since I’m good with children and it would give me the chance to experience a new environment and way of life. I did my research and quickly realized this program was a perfect fit for me. I adapt to change fairly quickly, and I consider myself responsible, honest, hardworking, and persistent, both in my work and academic life.
