Child Care Experience
From June to November 2025, I took care of 39 learners from 8 to 10 years of age. I managed classroom material and administrative tasks, assisted with behavior challenges, helped set up creative activities, did dance lessons and group reading, supervised the children outside the classroom and helped with end-of-day clean up. From January to March 2025, I took care of a group of 12 children from 8 months to 5 years of age. I supervised playtime, facilitated educational and recreational activities, managed hygiene routines, assisted with mealtime, set up age-appropriate activities and cleaned up the area where the children played. The idea of becoming an Au Pair comes from the fact that my mother was an au pair in the USA when she was my age. She is still in contact with her host family, which I find admirable. I have always been interested in living in the USA and learning about the culture, so spending a year there as an au pair feels natural and exciting to me.
