EurAupair began sponsoring au pairs for the United States from European countries more than 25 years ago. We have the legal designation from the U.S. Department of State and the experience to help you find the right au pair for your family. We place au pairs from five different continents now, but European au pairs remain at the heart of our program.
All of our au pairs we place in the U.S. speak English, but for many, it is not their native language. Immersion in an English-speaking culture improves their language skills, although EurAupair screens au pairs to be sure their level of English is appropriate and will allow them to be functional on their very first day in the U.S. Our objective evaluation of the au pair’s English is provided to you as part of their application package, and you get a chance to interview your au pair prior to placing with her in order to ensure her English level matches your expectations.

From 09/2021 to 05/2023 I cared for Paolina (8) every week. My responsibilities included: picking up the child from school, helping with homework, doing sports, and looking after her until the parents return from work. From 01/2022 to 05/2022 I cared for Alicia (6) for 2 evenings a week. From 06/2026 to 07/2026 I cared for Noa (6) and Hugo (4) for 5 hours a week. My responsibilities included: serving them the meals prepared in advance, light kitchen cleaning, brushing teeth, reading a story and putting them to bed. My responsibilities included: picking her up from nursery, going for a walk with the dog, playing, cooking, tidying her bed room / toys room and the kitchen, helping with night routine and putting her to bed. I want to become an au pair in the USA because I would like to practice my English, discover American culture, and become part of a new family. I finished my Master's degree in Luxury Marketing in 2024. I have been babysitting since I was 16 years old because I feel comfortable around children and I enjoy spending time with them. I also helped take care of my younger brother, who is six years younger than me. For me, children are honest and innocent, and it is important to help them grow with kindness and care. I sincerely enjoy spending time with children and being part of their daily lives.
