All of our au pairs we place in the U.S. speak English, but for many, it is not their native language. Immersion in an English-speaking culture improves their language skills, although EurAupair screens au pairs to be sure their level of English is appropriate and will allow them to be functional on their very first day in the U.S. Our objective evaluation of the au pair’s English is provided to you as part of their application package, and you get a chance to interview your au pair prior to placing with her in order to ensure her English level matches your expectations.

I took care of Noam (1 year old) from February 2023 to March 2023. My responsibilities included changing his diapers, feeding him, playing indoors and outdoors, and bathing him. I took care of Marthe (1.5 years old), Nina (6 years old), and Sophia (8 years old) from January 2021 to April 2021. My responsibilities included picking the kids up from three different schools, preparing and giving snacks, helping the older kids with homework, and suggesting age-appropriate activities. I took care of Ilyes (12 years old to 21 years old with a handicap) and Noah (1 month to 12 years old) from January 2016 to October 2025, especially during weekends, every couple of months, and while on vacation in Tunisia. My responsibilities included providing daily care, preparing meals, and organizing educational activities for the kids. I took care of Romane (6 to 8 years old) and Axel (9 to 11 years old) from September 2018 to June 2020, about 12 hours per month plus weekends. My responsibilities included helping them with homework, playing games, and preparing dinner. **I have some experience with children with special needs, including those with autism or learning disabilities**

I want to become an AuPair in the USA because it’s the perfect opportunity to care for children while experiencing an immersive cultural exchange. It is also an ideal environment to improve my English in a natural and enjoyable way. As the eldest of four siblings, I’ve been looking after my sisters for years, which has taught me patience, responsibility, and adaptability. From February to April 2026, I took care of a group of children from 3 to 13 years of age on Wednesdays and during school breaks. I distributed snacks, supervised nap time, did activities with the children and supervised recess time. From March to November 2025, I took care of Lywen (9) and Albane (5) during school breaks and on the weekends. I prepared meals, assisted with bath time, and played games with the children. During the month of June 2024, I did a one-week internship with a group of children in 4th and 5th grade. I assisted the teacher in the classroom and helped manage the students. From July 2023 to February 2026, I took care of Sacha (3) during school breaks and on the weekends. I took the child on outings and played games with the child.

Since I was little, I like taking care of children. Every time there are children, such as family meals or holidays, I spend my time with them and I like to be with them. I have always liked to play, chat and do activities to see them having fun. For me, seeing happy children is the most beautiful reward. **I have some experience with children with autism** From 09/2024 to 06/2025 I cared for Eliott (5) and Charleen (3) for 6 hours week. My responsibilities included picking up the children from school, giving them a snack, playing with them, and helping them take a shower. In April 2026 I cared for children ages 6-10 for a week. My responsibilities included welcoming the kids, organizing activities (i.e. treasure hunt, painting), playing with them, leading educational workshops and activities for children, promoting creativity, social skills, and learning through games, arts and crafts, and interactive exercises. From 12/2022 to 03/2026 I cared for Lemoullec (6) on occasion. My responsibilities included helping him with homework, preparing meals, going on outings and assisting with bath time.

I believe it is very important to listen to children and value their opinions. I am a very patient person and can handle different situations while always ensuring the children's well-being and safety.
