We have the legal designation from the U.S. Department of State and the experience to help you find the right au pair for your family. All of our au pairs we place in the U.S. speak English, but for many, it is not their native language. Immersion in an English-speaking culture improves their language skills, although EurAupair screens au pairs to be sure their level of English is appropriate and will allow them to be functional on their very first day in the U.S. Our objective evaluation of the au pair’s English is provided to you as part of their application package, and you get a chance to interview your au pair prior to placing with her in order to ensure her English level matches your expectations.

**I am willing to take care of children ages 2 yeas and older.** In July 2023, I cared for a group of children aged between 6 and 10 years old. I was their animator. From June 2019 to September 2023, I cared for Charlie (1). We played together, we went for walks, I bathed her and I prepared some activities. From September 2022 to July 2023, I cared for Arwenn (13) and Gabriel (10). I helped with their homework and took care of them.

I have a deep passion for American culture, particularly its language, music, appeal, and landscapes. Caring for children aged 4 to 13 has strengthened my commitment to their well-being and education. I've introduced children to various activities, such as new sports, music genres, cuisines… My top priority has always been children's safety, and I've developed conflict resolution skills. I prepared breakfast, gave showers, helped the children get dressed, played board games, and went for walks. From September 2024 to March 2025, I took care for Timeo (7) and Jules (5) on Wednesday afternoons. I prepared lunch, helped with homework and kept the children occupied. From June to July 2025, I took care of Juliette (9) and Clara (6) for eight hours a week. I picked up the children from school, prepared afternoon snacks, and helped with homework.

I would like to join the au pair program in the United States to discover a new culture and have an enriching experience abroad and improving my English. I would like to work in the U.S. later in international business, and living with a host family would allow me to practice English every day. I have gained solid experience in childcare through regular babysitting. I have had the opportunity to care for children of various ages, primarily young children, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. My responsibilities included: planning activities, supervising the kids, ensuring their safety, preparing meals and running errands. Lastly, in August 2022, I looked after a group of children ages 7 to 12 years old. *First-Aid Certified* I want to become an au pair because I am really fond of traveling and discovering other cultures. Since I was teenager, I am fascinated by the US not just because of the landscapes and all but mostly because I want to know the American culture even more by being immersed in it. But not only I like cultural exchanges but I am also a qualified child care. I have my BAFA, a French childcare diploma, and was a Girl Scout leader for several years. I am independent but also very family-oriented so the au pair program sounded like the best way to make lasting bonds with American people.

From June 2024 to July 2025, I took care of Mael (9) on four different times for four hours. I prepared meals and helped with homework. Once for a wedding during the month of May 2025, I took care of a group of children from 1 to 8 years of age. I gave the children food, helped take them to the bathroom and offered age-appropriate activities.

I want to become an au pair because it is a wonderful opportunity to travel, discover a new culture, and connect with people in a truly unique way. Being part of a family abroad feels like the best way to really understand the culture. It also gives me the chance to step out of my comfort zone and learn more about the world and about myself.
