I want to become an au pair in the USA to improve my English and experience American culture. I love working with children, and this program is a great opportunity to learn while doing what I enjoy. I have completed internships in a daycare and preschool. I also have my BAFA (childcare diploma), have worked in holiday camps, and done babysitting. I want to participate in an au pair exchange program in the United States because I really enjoy taking care of children and spending time with them. First of all, becoming an au pair exchange program participant in the USA is the opportunity to keep on working with children since that is what I like the most. Also, because I want to improve my English oral skills, visit new places, learn about a new culture and share my own with my host family. Secondly, I consider I am responsible, independent, attentive, honest, empathic, hardworking and lovely. All those personaly traits are bland skills I can use for taking care of the children and making of this experience the best one ever. Furthermore, all my knowledge and the experience working with children as a nurse assistant is the most valuable strength I have for assiting the children in any urgency or emergency. Also, I know how to give First Aid Assistance in any unexpected situation.

I sterilized feeding equipment, bottles and pacifiers, prepared formula and kept track of developmental milestones in a baby journal. I picked up the children from school, supervised homework and educational play, planned indoor and outdoor recreational activities, prepared snacks and light meals, and maintained daily routines for hygiene and tidiness. My responsibilities included picking him up from school, helping him with his homework and reviewing what he had learned in class, preparing his lunch, and taking him to his soccer lessons. I took care of Jhojan Esteban, 6 years old, from May 2023 to September 2023. I prepared his breakfast, helped with his morning routine, and engaged him in games and activities such as painting, reading, singing, dancing, baking cookies and desserts. I also served him lunch and took him to the park in the afternoons. I cared for Mariam Lizeth, 1 year old, from October 2023 to May 2024.
