Child Care Experience
I babysat Maria (1) from April to December 2023. My responsibilities included preparing the bottle, changing diapers, bathing the baby, performing body care routines, preparing baby food, accompanying the baby to medical appointments, and putting the baby to bed. I babysat Jeromino (3) from January 2020 to April 2021. I woke him up, prepared meals, took him to and from daycare, took him to swimming classes and took him to the park to play. I looked after Luciana (12) from February to September 2024. I took her to and from school, prepared meals, did her laundry, took her to activities, and helped with homework. Finally, I looked after Ana Sofia (14) from September 2022 to March 2023. I prepared meals, picked her up from school, prepared everything for her singing lessons, helped with homework, and did her laundry.

Child Care Experience
I babysat Gioia (3) and Gabriele (5) from June to August 2024. I played with them, took them to the park and prepared snacks for them. Since January 2023, I've worked at a children's club organizing parties for children ages 3 to 13 years old. I play with the children, supervise them, feed them and do fun activities with them. I've tutored Dario (10) since September 2010. I help him with homework and play with him. From December 2021, I have occasionally taken care of Arianna (7). I take care of the child, play, give baths and help with homework. From June to October 2020, I took care of a group of children from 5 to 14 years of age. I let the children play, prepared lunch, helped with swimming in the pool, and prepared shores for the children. Lastly, I've been babysitting a boy (6) since April 2024. My responsibilities include taking care of him, playing with him and going to the park with him.

I think this program is an incredible opportunity to meet new people and have new experiences doing what you love most, which is taking care of children. I wanted to participate as an Au Pair because it will help me a lot in my career to learn English and significantly improve my knowledge about children. I want to specialize in child psychology. I've volunteered at an orphanage since November 2023 taking care of children ages 7 years old and younger. My responsibilities include changing diapers, bottle feeding the babies, playing and doing different activities with the children, and bathing them. Additionally, being an au pair I have the opportunity to fully immerse myself in the culture of the country. Becoming an AuPair has been my dream for a long time. I’ve been around young children my whole life. I have four younger siblings and many cousins, whom I’ve helped take care of. As I grew older, I started taking on more and more responsibilities, eventually caring for them overnight when the parents were away. I also helped her with brushing her teeth, preparing her breakfast and lunch, teaching her to read and write, doing activities, playing with her, assisting with her homework, and taking care of her.
