I babysat Sofia (6), Adeline (6) and Stella (8) from October 2024 to May 2025. My responsibilities included picking the children up from the bus stop, doing crafts, taking them to the pool, preparing meals, and putting them to bed. I've babysat Kian (4) and Noya (1) since April 2021 occasionally. I drop them off and pick them up from school, play with them, and feed them. I looked after Nash (4) and Nixon (3mths) from August 2023 to May 2024. My responsibilities included playing with the children, preparing meals, taking them outside to play, feeding them, and putting them to bed. Finally, I looked after twin boys Carter and Oliver (1) from September to October 2023. I want to become an au pair in the USA because it brings together many things that are important to me. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. During my volunteer year, I work with children every day and it never gets boring or repetitive. I am patient, loving and caring- even in difficult or stressful situations. Communication is really important to me and I am able to reflect myself and my behavior. With that, I am also pretty family-oriented. Traveling to a new country and completely being on my own doesn’t feel right for me. That’s why my host family is very important to me. From October 2023 to February 2024, I did an internship at an occupational therapy center taking care of children ages 4 to 7 years old. My responsibilities included preparing snacks, taking them to and supervising children at the playground, comforting children, assisting them with tasks, playing with the children, singing and reading to them, cleaning up, buying groceries, helping the children get dressed, and planning and preparing arts and crafts. During my internship, I supported children with developmental delays, motor skill difficulties, sensory processing issues, anxiety, and attention or behavioral challenges such as ADHD. I did another internship from April to July 2024 taking care of children ages 3 to 11 years old. My responsibilities included playing with the children, cleaning up, supervising the children around animals such as dogs, horses and chicken, planning, preparing and doing arts and crafts activities, comforting children, observing the therapist during their work. I worked with children who had speech and language delays, learning difficulties, social-emotional challenges, and developmental disorders. Finally, I babysat Lily (9) and Samuel (5) from March 2023 to February 2026 . I looked after them at the playground, played with them, drew pictures with them and cleaned up after them.

It has always been my dream to become an Au Pair in the USA because I love both children and American culture. I want to improve my English, discover new places, and learn more about life in another country. I’ve always wished for younger siblings, and being an au pair would give me the chance to experience that and be like an older sister. I have been working as an acrobatic coach for children aged 5 to 12 since November 2022, and this position is ongoing. I coach acrobatics and supervise the group during training sessions once per week. I also worked with Yusuf, age 15, providing tutoring from July 2024 to September 2024. During this time, I worked five days a week and supported him with his learning. Additionally, I have been involved with a sports club, supervising children aged 7 to 14 during training sessions since April 2024, and this role is ongoing. I work once a week for one to two hours, where my responsibilities include supervising the children during training and practicing choreographies with them.

I want to become an Au Pair in the USA because I love working with children. Watching them grow and building a strong connection with them is one of the main reasons I want to live with a host family. I especially enjoy doing activities with children, showing them new things, and learning from them, and I think being part of a family abroad is a wonderful experience. I want to become an Aupair, because I would like to see America. I know some friends who spent time there and they all keep saying that it was a lovely time. And obviously, I want to get to know its culture and lifestyle. I think, it will be completely different to live in America a year opposed to just visit the country for a while.
