Child Care Experience
I took care of 20 different children aged 9–12 from 09/2022 to 07/2023, where I helped with homework, created educational games, resolved conflicts, and supported them in preparing for tests. I also cared for Josef Mai, Salome Mai, Klara Mai, and Sarah Mai, aged 3–15, from 04/2021 to 04/2025, about three days per month, where I babysat, played with them, prepared meals, and helped with nap time.
Sports, Interests and Hobbies
My biggest hobby is tennis, which I have played in a club for seven years and which has helped me stay active and develop leadership skills as a team leader, enjoying outdoor walks, traveling, swimming, watching soccer and follow it regularly.

I have been dreaming of becoming an AuPair for a long time because I would like to grow as a person and become more responsible. I believe that living in another country and being part of a host family is a great opportunity to learn and gain new experiences. I feel that the tasks of an au pair suit me very well because I get along easily with people, especially children. I enjoy spending time with them, supporting them, and helping them. I am patient, caring, and reliable, and I always try to approach new situations with a positive attitude. I am also very motivated to start something new, learn about another culture, and improve my English.
Child Care Experience
I did an internship at a kindergarten in July 2025 taking care of children ages 1 to 6 years old. My responsibilities included caring for the children, organizing activities and assisting with daily routines. I've been a Sunday school teacher at my church since September 2022 taking care of children ages 8 to 9 years old. I play with the children, teach them about the Bible, solve conflicts, and communicate with the parents. Lastly, I've looked after two siblings since January 2016. I do all child care related duties.

I want to become an Aupair, because I would like to see America. I know some friends who spent time there and they all keep saying that it was a lovely time. And obviously, I want to get to know its culture and lifestyle. I think, it will be completely different to live in America a year opposed to just visit the country for a while. Aside from that, I hope that I can improve my English. Of course I also love kids and I would be content to get the chance to support them and become a special part of a kids life.

From 09/2022 to 05/2025 I cared for children ages 9-15 about 7 hours a month. My responsibilities included group activities, learning about religion, and going on short trip. From 01/2025to 09/2025 I cared for children ages 8-12 on occasion. I was responsible for playing with them, taking them to the playground, crafting, painting, reading, bringing them to bed, and cooking with them. From 08/2022 to 12/2025 I cared for children ages 10-14 on occasion. I would prepare food, take them to a Museum, play together, and learn about god.

I have worked with children with special needs for 8 months and hold a certificate from “AzubiKolleg Lübeck. I took care of Elia (3) and Jona (15), occasionally helping with playing, preparing food, meals, bedtime, evening hygiene, bathing, diaper changing, brushing teeth, and driving them. I took care of Johannes (2) and Holly (4), occasionally supporting with meals, bedtime routines, evening hygiene, and general childcare tasks. I took care of Tammo (1 year) and Lasse (4 years), occasionally helping with playing, feeding, changing diapers, washing, brushing teeth, and putting them to bed.

*** First AID*** I want to experience new cultures. I am a very empathetic and happy person. I have wanted to become an au pair since I was 14 years old. I love working with children, and I enjoy traveling and discovering new cultures. As an au pair, I can combine both of these passions. I want to become an Au Pair because I love spending time with children. I find child care very rewarding, no matter the age. Being a role model for children and supporting them with personal development are things I respect and strive for. I not only want to babysit your children, but I want to become a friend whom they can relate to and trust. I believe that living with your family will allow me to grow personally, become more independent, and share my own culture with you as well. I have already visited the United States before, and this experience strongly influenced my decision to apply as an Au Pair there. During my stay, I deeply appreciated the openness, approachability, and everyday friendliness I experienced in social interactions. Rather than being a stereotype for me, this was something I noticed consistently in daily situations, such as conversations with locals and everyday encounters. Additionally, I am genuinely interested in American culture and daily life. I would like to understand the country beyond tourism by experiencing family routines, social norms, and everyday responsibilities firsthand.
