I've always wanted to learn about life in America - about American culture, people, American traditions – festivities and celebrations. I want to experience the things that happen across the ocean, the things that I’ve only seen in the movies so far. And Au pair program is a great opportunity to do it and fulfill my dream. And I am also very keen on sharing Latvian culture with my host family. My strength are the ability to find a common language with children. I am very responsible and I like to teach children about different things. It is very important for me to find a common language and shared interests with my host family! I am excited to get a live-in childcare experience and make a difference in children’s lives! I am sure this will be once in a lifetime experience to remember! I want to learn more about the US, its culture and its traditions because they are different from mine. My strength is to find a common language with children. I am very responsible and I like to teach children ( painting, writing). I always wanted to know how life is in the US. I want to participate and experience American cultural festivals. The AP program is a great opportunity for me to improve my English. The program also provides the opportunity to work with children and explore a new country. Spending time and working with children brings me inspiration and fulfillment whereas living in a different country broadens one’s horizons, teaches one to accept different cultures, perceptions, and helps to become a better “world citizen.”
