I am the eldest of a large family; I have two younger brothers, as well as two half-brothers and a half-sister, which has accustomed me to taking care of children from a young age. I have also worked with children in a day camp center and regularly do babysitting. I would like to become an au pair in the United States because it has always been my dream to move to the U.S. or at least live there for an extended period of time. From 2023 to 2024, I worked in a children's home in my hometown, where I realized how much joy and passion I have for working with children—especially those who face challenges in life or are disadvantaged in some way. I took care of Thiago Lopez Sarmiento, who was 5 years old, from April 2024 to December 2024. I was responsible for picking him up from school, taking him home, preparing light meals, and helping him with his homework. I also cared for Camilo Rey Acevedo, who was a newborn, from January 2020 to January 2021. I supported his mother during the postpartum period by helping care for the baby, including bathing, changing diapers, and feeding. I also helped prepare meals for the mother to support her recovery and well-being. From March 2025 to June 2025, I cared for Ana Victoria, who was 3 months old. I looked after the baby and assisted with age-appropriate motor and sensory activities to support her development.
