From January 2024 to March 2026 (ongoing), I have taken care of Louise (10) in the evening and during school break. I organize activities and prepare meals. From September 2023 to April 2026, I took care of Joanne (10) in the evenings and on the weekends. I did activities with the child at the home, took the child to sports practice and helped with homework. From February 2024 to March 2026, I took care of Lili (10) often. I did activities, prepared meals and helped with housekeeping. During the month of June 2024, I did a two-week day camp internship with a group of children from 3 to 11 years of age. I created activities for the children, supervised the children in the yard and in the center and did light cleaning.

I would love to become an au pair in the USA because I have always dreamed of living abroad and discovering a new culture. I think this program is a great opportunity for me to improve my English while having a meaningful experience with a host family. I consider myself a caring, patient and responsible person. From December 2025 to April 2026, I took care of Alessio (6 months) twice per week. I did light housekeeping, laundry, prepared food, cared for the baby and put the baby down for naps. From December 2022 to August 2023, I took care of Norah (4) and Malo (2) for eight hours per week. I brought the oldest child home from school, took care of the children, went to the park, prepared food and put the children to bed. From December 2019 to January 2020, I often took care of Constance (8 months) and Yaya (2). I changed diapers, prepared meals, helped the children get dressed and did activities with the children.

I have always been passionate about working with children, and I believe that my experience, energy, and dedication make me an excellent candidate for this role. I have extensive experience in childcare. First of all, I am a big sister to three younger siblings and also have extensive babysitting experience. I want to become an au pair because I am thrilled to discover another culture and to be immersed in it for a whole year. I also love being around children and take care of them.

Since I was little, I like taking care of children. Every time there are children, such as family meals or holidays, I spend my time with them and I like to be with them. I have always liked to play, chat and do activities to see them having fun. For me, seeing happy children is the most beautiful reward. I appreciate the more responsible part of taking care of them : meals, bedtime, helping them with hygiene and homeworks. I like to ensure their well-being and development. I find children fascinating because they are curious, spontaneous and full of energy. I also chose to volunteer in a day camp center and even interned in a school. I want to participate in the Au Pair exchange program because I truly enjoy working with children and feel well qualified for this role. I have a natural connection with children, and I consider myself a responsible, kind, cheerful, committed, honest, and patient person—qualities that I believe are essential in childcare. My experience as a recreation leader and babysitter has allowed me to develop strong skills in adapting to different situations and caring for children of all ages. I like to make them smile, for example by making funny faces when they are upset to help them feel better. I worked at a summer camp, where I learned how to take care of a small group of children. I love children very much. I often volunteer for sick children in my spare time, and for a period of time. I help children recognize Chinese and English, help them complete their homework, and assist in order at daycare centers. I often encounter different Chinese and foreign children, all of whom I like and pay attention to. I help children find lost little toys, and if they can’t find their parents, I hold their little hands and shout loudly. I have also helped different neighbors take care of their children for a period of time, pick them up and drop them off from school, so I have some experiences dealing with children, I think I can take good care of children, listen to their thoughts, play with them, and I also want to go to another place to experience the local customs and traditions, to feel how to communicate and get along with children under the collision of two cultures.
