Child Care Experience
From November 2023 to January 2025, I took care of Emily (3) for three hours on Tuesdays and Fridays. I picked up the child from daycare, helped with daily routines, played, went for walks and had story times. From September 2022 to June 2023, I took care of Mia (3 months) for three hours, three days per week. I prepared bottles, prepared meals, played, gave baths and got the child ready for bed. From July 2020 to February 2022, I took care of Ana (1), for four hours, Monday to Friday. I prepared healthy snacks, helped with potty training, took the child to the park, played and got the child ready for bed. From December 2017 to May 2019, I took care of Joel (3). I prepared snacks, helped with eating and cleaning up, played and put the child to bed.

I want to become an au pair because it's a great opportunity to improve my English while experiencing new cultures, meeting new people and exploring new places. From January 2021 to April 2025, I took care of Lautaro (6) and Julieta (8), two to three times per week. I prepared meals, entertained and helped with homework and school activities. From June 2022 to July 2024, I took care of Cristian (6), Violeta (8) and Morena (11) on the weekends. I prepared breakfast, lunch and snacks, helped with homework and school activities and also did light housekeeping. From October 2021 to December 2024, I took care of Joaquin (1), three times per week. I gave baths, prepared meals and took care of the child.

First, I would love to become an au pair, mainly because I love children. It sounds cliché, I know, but it's true; I just feel good when I'm with them and, when I take care of them, I feel like I'm also taking care of my inner child. I would also love to get to know your country and culture, learn your language, and I feel this is a great opportunity. From 03/2024 to 04/2025 I cared for children ages 4 to 8 for 2 hours a day, 2 days a week. I take care of Nela, Tessa and their Brother Kilian while their mother is at meetings or goes to training. Mostly I come from afternoon to evening. In that time we play together, go outside or do other things. In the evening I make them dinner and we eat. Sometimes it’s that late, that I bring them to bed or make them bed ready. From 07/2016 to 04/2025 I cared for Milian (newborn) once a week. I would play, put to bed, and prepare food. From 07/2024 to 09/2024 I cared for Frieda (6) 4-5 times. I would play, tak on walks and prepare meals.

I thought about getting to the USA for a long time, because I always saw videos photos and more about people who live there. I find the USA fascinating and would love to experience the culture and traditions. Furthermore I love spending my time with children, playing with them or doing other things and more with them. This makes me happy, because I see those smiling faces. Then I watched some videos online, where others spokes positively about being an au pair and I researched what it is exactly about. And the thought, to get to know the USA and care about children of a family that I hopefully grow close to, is amazing.

From March to November 2024, I took care of Ana (4), for four hours, Monday to Friday. I prepared snacks, visited family with the child and helped with homework. From February to March 2024, I volunteered at the Eu Picardy Educational Center with children from 5 to 7 years of age. I helped with classroom activities, helped with homework, physical activity and gave love to the children. Form August to October 2023, I took care of Andres (9 months), Efrain (4) and Luisa (6). I woke the children, dropped off and picked up from school, played, helped with homework and prepared dinner.

I took care of Lyyti (12), Eetu (14), and Viola (16) from 10/15/24 to 10/22/24, looking after my siblings for a week while my parents were away. My responsibilities included taking care of them, handling their schooling, making meals, and organizing the house. From January to March 2025, I took care of Eliel (4) and Linne (1) several times a week. My duties included playing with them, taking them outside, putting them down for naps, preparing dinner, changing diapers, and light housekeeping. From February to March 2025, I cared for Cesilia (4), Niklas (9), Alina (11), and Matilda (12). My responsibilities included making meals, putting them to bed, driving them to school, helping them with homework, managing household tasks, and taking care of their animals.

Becoming an AuPair has been my dream for a long time. I’ve been around young children my whole life. I have four younger siblings and many cousins, whom I’ve helped take care of. As I grew older, I started taking on more and more responsibilities, eventually caring for them overnight when the parents were away.
