Child Care Experience
From August 2021, I have occasionally taken care of Noah (7), Naomi (3), Diana (6), Jacob (6), Anselm (1). I babysit, prepare food and take the children to bed. From January 2022, I have taken care of a group of children from 2 to 12 years of age, three times per month. I do reading for the children, supervise and do crafts and outdoor activities with the children. From November 2024, I volunteered with a group of children from 5 to 6 years of age. I played, prepared meals and put the children to bed. From September 2024 to June 2025, I took care of Malik (1) and Hakim (2), for a total of six times. I played and took the children to the park. From May 2024 to December 2025, I occasionally took care of Lena (8). I played, did singing and dancing with the child, and prepared food. From January to December 2025, I took care of Diana (5) once a week. I prepared food, played and put the child to bed.

I've been a math teacher since March 2023 teaching children ages 5 to 12 years old. I plan lessons and support the children in the classroom. From November 2018 to February 2019 I babysat Gael (3). I played with him, did puzzles, sang song, took him to the park, played soccer, and prepared meals for him. I was a private math teacher to Sofia (13) form June 2019 to November 2025. I assisted her with her math classes.

Becoming an Au Pair in the United States has been a dream of mine for a long time. I’m so excited about the opportunity to care for children, create beautiful memories, and share unforgettable experiences. From 01/2021 to 01/2025 I cared for children ages 3 to 5 for 2 hours a day. We would do indoor activities such as coloring, drawing, singing, reading stories, feeding and helping with childcare. From 10/2024 to 12/2024 I cared for Sebastian (5) and Ximena (11) for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. I would take them to the park to play, help the older girl with homework, read stories and get them ready for bedtime. From 06/2024 to 07/2024 I cared for Atalia (1) for 8 hours a day, 7 days a week. I would assist with her activities included changing her diaper, giving her a bottle, bathing her, playing with her, taking her to bed, taking her to bed, taking her to the swimming pool and taking care of her meals during the day and also organize her clothes.

I would like to participate in an au pair exchange program in the USA because it is a unique opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, improve my English language skills and develop personal and professional skills. From July 2024 to October 2025, I took care of Perle (5) once a month. I gave baths, prepared meals, entertained, changed the child, put the child to bed and cared for the child overnight. From April 2024 to August 2025, I occasionally took care of Mahalia (4) and Enola (2). I gave baths, prepared meals, entertained, changed the children, combed their hair, and put the children to bed. From September 2024 to April 2025, I took care of a children's gymnastics group with children from 2 to 15 years of age for about fifteen hours a week. This program is a great opportunity for me to combine my love for children with my wish to see the world. I have a little brother that I often take care of. I also helped children with disabilities or special needs. This experience taught me to be patient, kind, and adaptable. Being an Au Pair will let me help children in their daily life and in their growth. I am a smiling, active, and friendly person. I babysat Isabella (9) from September 2018 to July 2019. My duties were making them breakfast, helping them with their homework, driving to and picking them up from school, taking them to the park and play in the slide and the swing, playing soccer, running and jump roping with them. I was responsible for playing, feeding, changing diapers, cooking, baking, preparing food for them, shopping, going outside in the nature or to the playground, teaching and practicing things like walking, reading them stories, putting them in bed (includes brushing teeth), and dressing them. From 10/2023 to 01/2026 I cared for a group of girls ages 8 to 13 for one week a year. I was their camp counselor and was responsible for waking them up, quiet time with god (reading the bible, talking about it), eat meals with them, bible study (worship, reading the bible, talking about it, telling them a story), playing games (outside and inside), going swimming, crafting, reading a bedtime story, bringing them into bed, review the day and pray.

When she was a newborn I was responsible for bottle preparation, bath preparation, changing clothes, removing gas, and regulating sleep. When she was 3 years old: helping with different daily tasks, teaching her to talk, potty training, teaching her the names of animals and their sounds, teaching her the names of colors, playing educational games with her, teaching her to do small sums with fruits, and teaching her to read small words. From 09/2023 to 12/2024 I cared for Milan (1) for 5 hours a day, 6 days a week. I was responsible for preparing the bottle, preparing the bath, changing clothes, eliminating gas, regulating sleep, educational games, teaching him to talk, teaching him to bathe, teaching him to eat alone, teaching him animal sounds and soft consonants. From 01/2025 to 05/2025 I cared for Aurora (4 months) for 6 hours a day, 6 days a week. I changed her diaper, burped her stomach and mouth, bathed her, dressed her, and rocked her to sleep.

I have always felt a great love and commitment for caring for children. I am passionate about accompanying them in their growth, being part of their learning and providing them with a safe, affectionate and stimulating environment. I enjoy sharing moments of play with them, since I believe that through play they can develop fundamental skills. From October 2024 to March 2025, I was a tutor to Andrea (16) helping her with her homework. I've been babysitting Vincenzo, now 10 years old, since October 2016 when needed. When he was a baby, I fed him, changed diapers and put him down for naps. Now I play with him and help with homework. First of all, becoming an au pair exchange program participant in the USA is the opportunity to keep on working with children since that is what I like the most. Also, because I want to improve my English oral skills, visit new places, learn about a new culture and share my own with my host family. Secondly, I consider I am responsible, independent, attentive, honest, empathic, hardworking and lovely. All those personaly traits are bland skills I can use for taking care of the children and making of this experience the best one ever. Furthermore, all my knowledge and the experience working with children as a nurse assistant is the most valuable strength I have for assiting the children in any urgency or emergency. Also, I know how to give First Aid Assistance in any unexpected situation.
