Child Care Experience

I babysat Gioia (3) and Gabriele (5) from June to August 2024. I played with them, took them to the park and prepared snacks for them. Since January 2023, I've worked at a children's club organizing parties for children ages 3 to 13 years old. I play with the children, supervise them, feed them and do fun activities with them. I've tutored Dario (10) since September 2010. I help him with homework and play with him. From December 2021, I have occasionally taken care of Arianna (7). I take care of the child, play, give baths and help with homework. From June to October 2020, I took care of a group of children from 5 to 14 years of age. I let the children play, prepared lunch, helped with swimming in the pool, and prepared shores for the children.

I want to become an au pair exchange program participant in the USA because I love working with children and experiencing new cultures. Being an au pair is a great opportunity to combine my passion for childcare with cultural exchange. I consider myself qualified for the EurAupair program because I am responsible, patient, and adaptable. I have experience caring for children and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for them. My strengths include good communication skills, problem solving, and a positive attitude, which I believe make me a great fit for this program.

From August 2024 to February 2025, I took care of Lohan (4 months), Kerian (6) and Lyam (3) on about fifteen different times. I helped with bath time, assisted with homework, went on outings with the children, played games and prepared meals. From November 2024 to January 2025, I took care of Abby (4) several times per month. I gave baths, went on outings, did creative activities with the children, prepared meals and put the children to bed. From March to July 2024, I took care of Tess (6) and Axel (8) for about ten hours on Saturdays. I prepared meals, helped with homework and did athletic activities.

I'm qualified because I'm a mature person with experience in children and the working world, and I've already studied for 1 year in Canada away from my family and friends. Child Care Experience

I worked at a kids day care center in March 2025 taking care of children ages 3 to 10 years old. My responsibilities included designing, organizing and facilitating activities, and ensuring the mental, physical and emotional well-being of the children at the day camp. I worked at another day care center from October 2023 to August 2024 taking care of children ages 3 to 17 years old. My responsibilities included leading activities, facilitating meals, helping with nap times, going on outings, doing fine motor skills activities with the kids, doing crafts, assisting with snack time, and helping with events. I babysat Moea (6) and Kiyana (2) from August 2023 to August 2024. My responsibilities included helping the kids with their homework, assisting with meal times, showering them and doing activities together.

I’m a person who is very enthusiastic about discovering the world but also as many cultures as possible. I’m open-minded, calm, joyful, creative and rather sunny. I think that if your family chooses me as an au pair I will find activities to entertain kids but also the right words to understand them. As an au pair in your family, I am ready to invest myself fully in becoming an active and caring member of your household, bringing fun and joy to your children and your family. I'm almost finished with my BAFA (French childcare diploma).

From September to December 2024, I took care of Annabella (6), for sixteen hours per week. I picked up the child from school, took the child to the pool, drove the child, prepared meals, played, helped with homework and gave baths. From June 2023 to August 2024, I occasionally took care of Mathis (3) and Noa (8). I prepared males, played games, assisted with teeth brushing, and put the children to bed. From October to November 2024, I took care of Robin (8) and Pauline (5), four times. I supervised bath time, prepared meals and played games iwht the children. From August 2022 to July 2024, I took care of Johan (4) and Matias (6) for several weeks each summer. I wok up the children, prepared meals, gave baths, and did indoor and outdoor activities with the children.

I love being in contact with children and teaching them new things, such as French. I’d love to spend time with them, playing, having fun and helping them through their daily lives. I can be very patient with children and in general in everyday life. I’m also very punctual, which I think is an essential quality for an au pair. I want to partake in the au pair exchange program in the United States because I want to discover a new culture and a new country. I've always loved American films and TV series, I want to see their daily lives and the many festivals like Halloween, which is celebrated a lot in this country, whereas in France that's not the case.

From January 2020 to January 2021, I cared for Emily (4 moths). I bathed her, prepared and fee her all the meals of the day, changed her diapers. I also played with her, taught her to walk and talk. From October 2022 to February 2023, I cared for Helena (8 months). I picked up Helena and took her to motion skills classes on Mondays, on Wednesdays I took care of her in the afternoons, on Fridays to English classes and on Saturdays to swimming lessons. From March 2023 to August 2024, I cared for Alejandro (10 months). I bathed him, prepared his bottle. I made him sleep for a while and we did different activities during the day to stimulate his growth and learning. Now that Alejo is older, we have English and painting classes. From May to September 2022, I additionally cared for Luciana (1). I bathed her as a baby, prepared her bottles and fed her. I put her to sleep, then played in the park and took her to music lessons.

I enjoy staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I like exercising and doing sports, such as going for a run or practicing yoga. I like spending time outdoors, jogging, exploring nature trails, socializing and spending time with friends, traveling, CrossFit and boxing.

I want to be an Au Pair, because I have a genuine love for children and a strong desire to make a positive impact in their lives. Being an Au Pair provides me the opportunity to take care of children, and also to become a role model, mentor, and friend to them, I am an adventurous and curious person, I want to get to know new places, new people and new cultures. I want to improve my English and to be able to bring good things to my host family from my culture and personality. I have a gift with children, and they are always happy by my side.

From 02/2020 to 08/2023 I cared for Samuel (4) and Jean (5) 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. I helped Jean with his homework and took him to soccer practice and guided Samuel to learn colors and shapes with didactic games. I prepared and fed them lunch. I played with them and took them to the park. From 04/2021 to 06/2021 I cared for Esteban (1) for 4 hours, 6 days a week. I helped take care of him while he was in the hospital, changing his clothes and diapers, giving him a bottle while his mother was away, bathing him, singing him to sleep, and taking care of him as needed or as directed by the doctor. From 05/2024 to 01/2025 I cared for children ages 5 to 10 for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. I helped care for and supervise children in their daily activities (eating, playing, resting, personal hygiene). I assisted teachers in conducting educational and recreational activities. I assisted in managing the learning environment and safety of the children. Promote social interaction and teamwork among the children.

I have always had a deep interest in American culture and in learning new ways of living and working. Participating in an exchange program and culture in the United States would give me the opportunity to fully immerse myself in this cultural environment, which would enrich my perspective and personal experience. Even more so if it is in the company of children, because they teach me to be a better person. I consider myself qualified as I have previous experience in childcare, which includes supervision and support in daily activities, as well as the ability to handle situations in a calm and efficient manner. I consider myself to be a proactive, responsible and cheerful person, qualities that I consider essential for the role of an Au Pair. I am willing to accept the responsibilities that the position requires and to make a positive contribution to the host family's home.

Between April 2022 and February 2024, I cared for Dahia (5) and Noah (6). I helped with their homework, prepared snacks, did crafts, took them to the park. Between October 2019 and January 2021, I cared for Nicolas (3mths). My responsibilities were meal preparation, bathing, doing laundry, preparing bottles of milk, changing diapers.

I am so excited to be an Au-pair because I would like to share my babysitter skills caring for your children. I want to improve my English by living the cultural immersion with an American Family. And I consider this program can give me the opportunity to grow as a person and I would love to have the experience of studying abroad and making friends from different countries.

From 01/2024 to 11/2024 I cared for children ages 1-10 on the weekends. I was responsible for taking them to school/kindergarten, picking them up, cook, cleaning and help with homework. From 05/2023 to 12/2023 I cared for Sebastian (7) for 5 days a week. I would cook, take him and pick him up from school and extracurricular activities. From 03/2022 to 04/2023 I cared for Daiana (5) and Felipe (1) for 5 days a week. I would take them and pick them up from school, play, cook and help with homework.

I want to become an au pair because I'd like to experience what it is like the American culture and be surrounded by the language while doing something that I have liked doing here in my country that is taking care of children. I have worked with kids and teens for a long time now, so I know how to be around them and how to make them feel safe.
