I took care of Irmak, who is 8 years old, from May 2024 to June 2024. My responsibilities included doing creative activities, teaching games, preparing meals and snacks, and handcrafting. I took care of Mustafa, who is 9 years old, from January 2023 to March 2023. My responsibilities included assisting with homework, playing games, preparing and serving meals, and taking the child to outdoor activities. I took care of Eymen, who is 6 years old, from October 2021 to January 2022. My responsibilities included playing games and engaging in outdoor activities.

Child Care Experience
Form November 2023 to March 2024, I was an English tutor to a group of children ages 13 to 14 years old. From April to May 2024, I worked at a kindergarten taking care of children ages 3 to 6 years old. I played with the children and did arts and crafts with them. Finally, I babysat Philipp (7) from March 2020 to April 2021 occasionally. I took care of him, prepared meals and played with him.

For a long time I wanted to get to know other cultures and improve my language skills. Working as an au pair offers me the perfect opportunity to make my dream come true. I also have a great passion for working with children and helping them grow and learn. I find it incredibly rewarding to spend time with them and encourage their curiosity and creativity, as well as gaining further valuable experience in childcare.

From February to present, I take care of Anina (4), one day a week. I care for, tutor and play with the child. From May 2024 to present, I take care of Selena (15), for two hours, twice a week. I help with studying. From March to December 2022, I took care of Leo (8) and Gul (13), one day a week. I tutored for school projects. From January to April 2022, I took care of Aicha (2) and Hakim (6) for three to four hours one day a week. I helped with laundry, took children outside, played, did cleaning and helped with homework.

From 03/2024 to 04/2025 I cared for children ages 4 to 8 for 2 hours a day, 2 days a week. I take care of Nela, Tessa and their Brother Kilian while their mother is at meetings or goes to training. Mostly I come from afternoon to evening. In that time we play together, go outside or do other things. In the evening I make them dinner and we eat. Sometimes it’s that late, that I bring them to bed or make them bed ready. From 07/2016 to 04/2025 I cared for Milian (newborn) once a week. I would play, put to bed, and prepare food. From 07/2024 to 09/2024 I cared for Frieda (6) 4-5 times. I would play, tak on walks and prepare meals.

I thought about getting to the USA for a long time, because I always saw videos photos and more about people who live there. I find the USA fascinating and would love to experience the culture and traditions. Furthermore I love spending my time with children, playing with them or doing other things and more with them. This makes me happy, because I see those smiling faces. Then I watched some videos online, where others spokes positively about being an au pair and I researched what it is exactly about. And the thought, to get to know the USA and care about children of a family that I hopefully grow close to, is amazing.

I did an internship at an elementary school in November 2021 and in June 2022 taking care of children ages 6 to 11 years old. I assisted them with school work, supervised recess, played with the children, did conflict resolution if needed, and helped the children maintain good hygiene. I've looked after my cousin (2) since September 2023. I play with the child and prepare meals. I've assisted with a children's school choir since January 2023. I help with their appearance, keep them calm, listen and give tips with singing and playing their instruments, help with reading notes, and encourage them.

I want to become an Au Pair because I‘ve always been fascinated by the USA. From the movies, the history and holidays everything fascinates me. Which is why it’s been my dream from a very young age to experience the American life. But also working with children is a dream for me. I love working with kids and teenagers, which is why I want to become a teacher later and being an Au Pair is both dreams combined. I think I‘m qualified to participate in the program because being with people makes me complete. I was taking care of children, and my responsibilities were as follows: Eles, from October 2023 to now. It depends; sometimes I work weekly, sometimes once a month. My responsibilities include changing diapers, feeding, and playing. In a kindergarten group for children ages 3 to 6 years, from September 2021 to July 2022, I worked 2 days per week, excluding school holidays. My responsibilities included care and support in various groups, childcare and play accompaniment, assistance with creative activities, help with daily routines, supervision and support during outdoor playtimes, and assistance with organizational and housekeeping tasks. In a small child kindergarten group from April 2023 to May 2023, I worked for 7 weeks, 8 hours per day. My responsibilities included assistance with creative activities, help with daily routines, dressing and undressing, and mealtime support. another experience will be in a children’s home with intensive pedagogical care, from November 2023 to December 2023, I worked for 7 weeks, 8 hours per day. My responsibilities included assisting with daily structure, everyday support, and conflict resolution. As a volunteer in life assistance and family support services for people with disabilities, I have been working since February 2022, for 2-4 hours per month. My responsibilities include personal care, leisure activities, meal assistance. Currently, at a boarding school for physically disabled individuals, I have been working since September 2024. My duties include helping with personal care, planning activities, creating and organizing schedules, providing emotional support, assisting with mobility, supporting daily routines, facilitating social interactions, offering companionship, helping with meal preparation, ensuring safety and comfort, and encouraging independence.

I have been doing volunteer work at a youth organization for children aged 6 to 16 since April 2019. I participate every two weeks and during special events. My responsibilities include organizing meetings and events, as well as planning and leading games. I completed an internship at an elementary school with children aged 6 to 7 in January 2022. During this time, I looked after the children and even led my own lesson. Since August 2023, I have been caring for Eliane (6) and Cord (4). I take them to the playground or for walks. We often paint, do crafts together, or go swimming on special days. In the evenings, I prepare dinner and put Eliane to bed. From January 2023 to January 2025, I worked as a volleyball coach for children aged 5 to 8. I taught them how to play volleyball and supported them with small tasks during training sessions.

From 12/2022 to 03/2023 I cared for Annabell (16) 3 times a week. I was her math tutor. In October 2024 I spent 5 days caring for child ages 1 to 7. I would support with everyday tasks in the daycare center, help the children to learn how to eat, do creative activities with the children.
