From 09/2022 to 05/2025 I cared for children ages 9-15 about 7 hours a month. My responsibilities included group activities, learning about religion, and going on short trip. From 01/2025to 09/2025 I cared for children ages 8-12 on occasion. I was responsible for playing with them, taking them to the playground, crafting, painting, reading, bringing them to bed, and cooking with them. From 08/2022 to 12/2025 I cared for children ages 10-14 on occasion. I would prepare food, take them to a Museum, play together, and learn about god.

I have worked at a holiday camp since February 2022 occasionally taking care of children ages 3 to 13 years old. I supervise and accompany the children during activities such as cooking, baking and bowling. I have babysat Rafael (1) since December 2023 occasionally. I play with him, take care of him, feed him, change his diapers and clothes. I've babysat Fabienne (3) and Paulina (1) since August 2022. I play with them, feed them, and help with toilet training and bathroom routine. I was a volunteer at a school from September 2024 to September 2025 taking care of children ages 5 to 7 years old. My duties included helping with school tasks and daily tasks, nursing- helping to use the toilet and changing diapers, break supervision, singing, dancing, and crafts.

I want to become an au pair in the USA because it brings together many things that are important to me. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. During my volunteer year, I work with children every day and it never gets boring or repetitive. I am patient, loving and caring- even in difficult or stressful situations. Communication is really important to me and I am able to reflect myself and my behavior. With that, I am also pretty family-oriented. Traveling to a new country and completely being on my own doesn’t feel right for me. That’s why my host family is very important to me. I would love to become a part of your daily life and build a warm and trusting relationship. Additionally I have always been fascinated by the USA and being an au pair feels like the perfect way to combine my love for childcare with the chance to experience every day life in the USA.

I want to become an au pair candidate because I deeply believe that this program will allow me to grow both personally and professionally. I've been caring for Nia (1) since July 2023. I take her to the playground and play with her. I am first aid certified. I have experience in caring for children with special needs. I cared for Emiliya every other weekend from January to June 2023. My responsibilities were preparing meals, playing with her and putting her to bed. I also cared for Lea (11), Mia (9) and Niklas (11) every other weekend for 3 months in 2023. I prepared meals and put them to bed. Between March and July 2023, I cared for Mira (10). I helped with homework and played with her. Lastly, in 2021, I watched Daniel (11). I cooked for him, helped with homework and swimming.

From 03/2024 to 04/2025 I cared for children ages 4 to 8 for 2 hours a day, 2 days a week. I take care of Nela, Tessa and their Brother Kilian while their mother is at meetings or goes to training. Mostly I come from afternoon to evening. In that time we play together, go outside or do other things. In the evening I make them dinner and we eat. Sometimes it’s that late, that I bring them to bed or make them bed ready. From 07/2016 to 04/2025 I cared for Milian (newborn) once a week. I would play, put to bed, and prepare food. From 07/2024 to 09/2024 I cared for Frieda (6) 4-5 times. I would play, tak on walks and prepare meals.

I thought about getting to the USA for a long time, because I always saw videos photos and more about people who live there. I find the USA fascinating and would love to experience the culture and traditions. Furthermore I love spending my time with children, playing with them or doing other things and more with them. This makes me happy, because I see those smiling faces. Then I watched some videos online, where others spokes positively about being an au pair and I researched what it is exactly about. And the thought, to get to know the USA and care about children of a family that I hopefully grow close to, is amazing.

My responsibilities included helping with homework and studying, playing games, cooking meals, and to watch him when parents are not home. From 09/2025 to 10/2025 I cared for children ages 6 to 10 for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for helping with homework, helping students in class, entertaining children, spending time with them and helping supervising at free time activities. From 07/2025 to 08/2025 I cared for children ages 3-6 for 7 hours a day, 4 days a week. I was responsible for assisting with supervising the children during free play & guided activities, helping with meals, supporting hygiene routines, participating in creative & educational activities.

I want to be an Au Pair because I like to spend time with children and to gain more experience with childcare. I also want to visit USA and learn more about its culture and to learn more about living in the USA. I consider myself qualified to participate in the EurAupair program because I can be attentive to their needs, I can be patient, empathetic and understanding. There are many ways to show children in creative ways the world and do some creative works or to go with them outside in the nature.
