I took care of Finn, who was 4 years old, by playing with him, helping with meals, and organizing creative activities. I cared for him on April 19, once. I took care of Rosalie, who was 3 years old, by playing with her, drawing, and babysitting. I cared for her on April 20, once. I have been taking care of Lea, who was 8 years old, since January 2021 to present. My responsibilities include playing, drawing, babysitting, and going for walks.

I took care of Milena, who is 2 years old, since October 2017, providing daily care including crafting, playing, outdoor activities, baking together, helping with homework, preparing breakfast and lunch, assisting with getting ready (such as doing her hair), and supporting her with daily activities, I also took care for Ilias, who is 4 years old, from May 2025 to September 2025, including looking after him, playing together, and preparing snacks. In addition, I supported 11–13-year-old children from October 2024 to July 2025 by helping them with homework and English difficulties.

First of all, this is a great opportunity for me because I am very curious and excited to exchange and explore a new culture. It will also allow me to discover and experience a new country. There are many differences between my home country and the US, and this exchange will make it possible for me to learn more about them. One of my other goals is to improve my English, as there is always room for improvement. My second, and probably most significant, reason is that I absolutely love spending time with other people, especially children. Every time I have had the chance to see my little cousins or spend time with my younger sister and her friends, I have always enjoyed it. I have been thinking about becoming a primary school teacher for a long time, and I believe this experience could be very valuable for my future.

From 09/2023 to 04/2024 I cared for children ages 7-15 four 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for cooking, cleaning, shopping groceries, taking care of the kids, helping them with the chores, and going on trips. From 04/2024 to 07/2024 I cared for children ages 7-16 for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for playing with children, taking care, housekeeping, and activities. From 10/2025 to 11/2025 I cared for Freddy (1) for one month. I was responsible for playing, preparing food, nap time, and babysitting.

I would like to become an au pair in the United States because it has always been my dream to move to the U.S. or at least live there for an extended period of time. From 2023 to 2024, I worked in a children's home in my hometown, where I realized how much joy and passion I have for working with children—especially those who face challenges in life or are disadvantaged in some way. Through my voluntary service, I gained a great deal of self-confidence and responsibility. As a result, I would describe myself as a mature and responsible young adult.

From 03/2025 to 003/2027 I cared for Fiona (6) and Maileen (3) on occasion. I was responsible for preparing meals, occupying them, playing with them, bringing them to bed, and reading. From 07/2024 to 07/2026 I cared for several children ages 3-6 for 2 weeks. I was responsible for playing with them, serving food, helping them dress, occupying them. In July 2026 I cared for several children ages 6-12 for one week. I was responsible for supervising and entertaining the children.

I love traveling and getting to know new cultures. I also love working with children, and therefore, the Aupair program is the ideal way to combine the two. I have gained a great deal of experience with children aged 2 to 12, and I have always been perceived as patient and level-headed. Furthermore (particularly through babysitting) I have gained significant experience in handling children in challenging situations and taking sole responsibility for them.

I want to become an Au Pair because I love spending time with children. I find child care very rewarding, no matter the age. Being a role model for children and supporting them with personal development are things I respect and strive for. I not only want to babysit your children, but I want to become a friend whom they can relate to and trust. Further, I am particularly excited about learning more about your culture, language, and daily life. I believe that living with your family will allow me to grow personally, become more independent, and share my own culture with you as well. I am looking forward to creating a close and trusting relationship with you and your children and becoming a helpful member of your household. I am flexible, willing to learn, and open to feedback, and I truly want this experience to be enriching for both sides. I have already visited the United States before, and this experience strongly influenced my decision to apply as an Au Pair there. During my stay, I deeply appreciated the openness, approachability, and everyday friendliness I experienced in social interactions. Rather than being a stereotype for me, this was something I noticed consistently in daily situations, such as conversations with locals and everyday encounters. Additionally, I am genuinely interested in American culture and daily life. I would like to understand the country beyond tourism by experiencing family routines, social norms, and everyday responsibilities firsthand.

I took care of Elia (3) and Jona (15), occasionally helping with playing, preparing food, meals, bedtime, evening hygiene, bathing, diaper changing, brushing teeth, and driving them. I took care of Johannes (2) and Holly (4), occasionally supporting with meals, bedtime routines, evening hygiene, and general childcare tasks. I took care of Tammo (1 year) and Lasse (4 years), occasionally helping with playing, feeding, changing diapers, washing, brushing teeth, and putting them to bed.
