Child Care Experience
I took care of children between the ages of 2 and 13, including a group of children from May 2025 to July 2025. My responsibilities included supervising the children, organizing activities, playing with them, preparing meals, and creating a fun and safe environment. I also cared for Diego, a 7-year-old boy, from August 2024 to September 2024. With him, I organized his daily routine, prepared meals and snacks, played together, took him to the beach, and helped with bathing. Additionally, I cared for Flavia, a 7-year-old girl, from June 2023 to September 2023. I prepared her meals, organized activities, and made sure she had a positive and enjoyable daily experience.

I want to become an Au Pair in the USA because I see it as a unique opportunity to combine two of my greatest passions: working with children and discovering new cultures. This experience will allow me to grow personally, improve my English, and become more independent. I consider myself well-qualified for the EurAupair program thanks to my strong background in childcare. I have worked as a babysitter for several years and as a kids’ club entertainer in Greece, caring for international children through games, creative activities, and daily routines. I would describe myself as warm, outgoing, empathetic, and adaptable. I follow rules carefully, communicate clearly, and always do my best to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children.

From 01/2020 to 03/2025 I cared for a group of children ages 7 to 12 for 6 hours a week. I would assist the volleyball coach and organize activities. In July 2024 I cared for Stephania (4) and Martina (6) everyday. I would prepare lunch, play, organize activities indoor and outdoor.

From 03/2023 to 09/2024 I cared for Lily (12) for several hours. My responsibilities included helping her with homework, giving her snack and meals, and bedtime routine. From 12/2024 to 01/2025 I cared for children ages 3 to 6 for 14 days. My responsibilities included doing obstacle courses, organizing activities (cotton snowman craft; clothespin fish craft) and ensuring the safety when going to the park nearby. From 07/2024 to 09/2025 I cared for Timothee (4) and Augustin (2) on occasion. My responsibilities included playing in the yard, doing crafts (painting and drawing), reading, helping with bath time and even planning one of the boy's 5th birthday party.

I would like to become an au pair exchange participant in the United States because I enjoy taking care of children, I want to practice my English, which is essential for my future career, and I also want to discover new landscapes and cultures. From September to November 2024, I occasionally took care of a group of children from 4 to 10 years of age. I supervised and organized games. From January 2022 to January 2023, I helped out as a horse riding instructor for a group of children from 10 to 11 years of age, twice per week. I supervised the children, helped saddle horses and helped during the lessons.

From 09/2024 to 11/2024 I cared for a group of children ages 4 to 10 for 4 hours a day on the weekends. I would supervise the children and help them during horse riding lessons. From 05/2020 to 12/2023 I cared for a group of children ages 4 to 16 for 2 hours a day, 3-4 days a week. I would assist with riding lessons, and entertain the children.

What motivates me to become an Au Pair is primarily the desire to explore and better understand who I am and what I enjoy doing, far from the reality I already know. I am excited about the opportunity to improve my English in an immersive environment and to meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds. I believe I am well-qualified for this role because I am a responsible, caring, and curious person—qualities that I consider essential when working with children. I am eager to create meaningful connections and provide a positive, nurturing environment for the kids I will care for.

I took care of Futura is 6–7 years old and Cosmo are 4–5 years old. During Summer 2024/25 (June to September), every day, I took them to the beach and to the park and helped with their homework. I took care of Anton is 7 years old and Sophie is 3 years old. From October 2024 to May 2025, twice a week, I helped them do their homework, let them play, took them for walks and to the park, picked them up from school and brought them home, and cooked for them. Also, I took care of Isabella, aged 5 months to 3 years (January 2023 to May 2025), I occasionally played with her, fed her, and helped her sleep.
