From 01/2020 to 03/2025 I cared for a group of children ages 7 to 12 for 6 hours a week. I would assist the volleyball coach and organize activities. In July 2024 I cared for Stephania (4) and Martina (6) everyday. I would prepare lunch, play, organize activities indoor and outdoor.

I would like to become an au pair exchange program participant in the U.S. because I enjoy taking care of children, getting in touch with a new culture (which I have already come into contact with twice on short vacations in NY) and improving my English. I think I am the right person to take this path because I am patient, mature and reliable.

I babysat Gioia (3) and Gabriele (5) from June to August 2024. I played with them, took them to the park and prepared snacks for them. Since January 2023, I've worked at a children's club organizing parties for children ages 3 to 13 years old. I play with the children, supervise them, feed them and do fun activities with them. I've tutored Dario (10) since September 2010. I help him with homework and play with him. From December 2021, I have occasionally taken care of Arianna (7). I take care of the child, play, give baths and help with homework. From June to October 2020, I took care of a group of children from 5 to 14 years of age. I let the children play, prepared lunch, helped with swimming in the pool, and prepared shores for the children.

I want to become an au pair exchange program participant in the USA because I love working with children and experiencing new cultures. Being an au pair is a great opportunity to combine my passion for childcare with cultural exchange. I consider myself qualified for the EurAupair program because I am responsible, patient, and adaptable. I embarked on this journey because I want to experience new emotions and challenges. My lifelong dream has always been to visit America, and what better way to explore it than through this incredible opportunity? I consider myself a responsible, independent, and proactive person with strong empathy and a great ability to adapt. I've babysat Martina (1) and Domenico (7) since August 2022. I help with morning and bedtime routine, prepare meals, feed and bath them, help with potty training, homework, I do fun activities with them such as reading, painting, drawing and puzzles, and I take the children outside and play with them. I was an English tutor to Benedetta (10) form October 2023 to January 2024. I also helped her with homework. I babysat Chiara (8) and Maria (12) form September 2024 to February 2025. I prepared meals, helped with homework, played, took them to the park, cleaned up their rooms, taught them how to bake, did different activities with them such as arts and crafts. Lastly, I babysat Sophie (8) form April to Junje 2024. I took her to activities, helped with homework, taught them Spanish, cleaned up her room, did her laundry and played with her.

From October 2022 to May 2024, I took care of Sam (8), Oli (7), Auri (4) and Val (2) twice per week. I took care of the children during naptime and playtime, prepared snacks and helped with homework. From June to July 2023, I took care of a group of children from 1 to 12 years of age. From May to June 2022, I took care of a group of children from 7 months to 3 years of age. I want to become an au pair because, for me, it’s the perfect way to combine my passions: caring for children and traveling. I have experience as a babysitter and have worked with children on multiple occasions. Each time, I built a good relationship with them, which I believe is due to my calm nature and genuine interest in them; this has always brought me a lot of joy. I also love traveling and exploring new cities, foods, and lifestyles. At first, it makes me feel a bit nervous, but it also fills me with curiosity and excitement. I think this experience would be a wonderful opportunity to meet people from around the world, improve my English, and share beautiful moments with my host family. I volunteered at a school as a youth leader from June 2017 to September 2021 taking care of children ages 6 to 14 years old. My role included supervising the children during activities, planning games, supporting their personal growth, and maintaining open communication with their parents. Lastly, I did an internship at a preschool from March to July 2022 taking care of children ages 6 months to 3 years old. I supervised the children, organized activities, changed diapers and fed the children.

I would like to discover a new culture, as I am convinced that the best way to get to know a country is to be totally immersed in the daily life of its inhabitants. This experience will also help me improve my English while doing what I love, looking after children. As an older sister of three brothers and one sister, I've always been involved in managing daily chores while looking after the siblings, but I've also had the opportunity to look after many cousins and neighbors' children. These experiences have enabled me to develop qualities such as patience, creativity and responsibility. I love organizing creative workshops, whether it's painting, puzzles, crafts or activities such as singing and dancing. From 09/2024 to 11/2024 I cared for a group of children ages 4 to 10 for 4 hours a day on the weekends. I would supervise the children and help them during horse riding lessons.
