I was a volleyball coach from February to June 2023 teaching children ages 7 to 10 years old. I was responsible for teaching the children the basics of volleyball techniques, doing warm-ups with them and stretches to start the training. I babysat Mia (5) from July to November 2023. My responsibilities included preparing meals, playing with her, taking her to the park and watching movies with her. Finally, I babysat Emilio (4mths) and Sophia (4mths) from June 2018 to April 2025 when needed. I babysat Eishell (4mths) from July to November 2025 on weekends. My responsibilities included preparing her bottles, changing her diaper, taking her for car rides, and encouraging her to crawl. I also babysat Emilio (1) form April 2024 to January 2025 on weekends. I took care of him and supervised him, changed his diapers, fed him, helped him sleep, occasionally took him to medical appointments, and played with him. Finally, I looked after Juan (7) form January to November 2023 on weekends. I took him to soccer practice, provided his lunch, helped with homework and activities, played with him and served him dinner before bedtime.

I would like to participate in an Au Pair exchange program in the United States because I believe it is a transformative experience both personally and culturally. I am very interested in learning about new traditions, lifestyles, and values while sharing my Colombian culture, my language, and all the positive qualities I can contribute as a person. My dream of becoming an Au Pair is mainly because I would love to immerse myself in a new culture and experience a different way of life. I did an internship at a nursery in April 2025 taking care of children ages 6 months to 3 years old. My responsibilities included helping with meal preparation, changing diapers, doing activities with children, monitoring the kids during nap time. I was a teacher's assistant from September 2023 to June 2025 as needed taking care of children ages 2 to 5 years old. My responsibilities included supervising kids during recess, class time and meals; and helping the classroom assistants and teachers manage the kids. I did an internship at a nursery from April to May 2026 taking care of children ages 3 months to 3 years old. My responsibilities included helping with meals, assisting with hygiene care, doing diaper changes, and doing activities. Finally, I was a student intern at pediatric emergency room from June to July 2026 caring for children ages 4 days to 18 year old. My responsibilities included helping with perfusions, bandages, nose cleaning, urine samples, taking vital signes (blood pressure, temperature, weight saturation), accompanying the parents and helping the kids together.
