During the month of June 2026, I took care of a group of children from 3 to 11 years of age on several Wednesdays. I did activities with the children and helped with mealtime. During the month of June 2026, I took care of a group of children from 3 to 11 years of age. I prepared breakfast and snacks, helped the children during meal time, supervised, did activities, did light cleaning and prepared group games. From September 2025 to April 2026, I took care of a group of children from 3 to 12 years of age for thirty-five hours per week. I've taken care of Ainara (8) since Jun e2019. I help her get dressed, comb her hair, brush her teeth, prepare meals, help with homework and put her to bed. From June to September 2025, I looked after Kiara (1). My responsibilities included feeding her, changing diapers, playing with her, putting her down for naps, and going for walks with her. I looked after Valeria (5) from December 2021 to December 2023. I fed and bathed her, played with her, took her for walks and helped with bedtime routine. Finally, I looked after Jayden (5) from March to May 2023. I maintained his daily routine including meals, playtime and rest periods. I also cleaned and organized his room and play areas.

I want to become an Au Pair in the United States to improve my English and experience American culture. I love languages and believe living with a host family will help me learn faster. I enjoy caring for children and have experience doing so. As the oldest of four siblings, I have always been responsible and nurturing. I have cared for a girl named Ainara since she was two and two girls also of 1 year named Kiara and Valeria of 5 years old, which taught me patience and empathy. Form February to April 2021, I worked at a children's recreational center as a trainer taking care of children ages 4 to 10 years old. I organized and supervised the recreational activities, and ensured a safe environment for them supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing. I volunteered for a foundation from June to October 2025 taking care of children ages 1 to 17 years old. My responsibilities included feed and bathing the younger children, doing different tasks with all of them, and taught different academic topics. I babysat Antonia (8) and Rafaela (5) form June to December 2021. I helped with schoolwork, took them to train, prepared food for them, dressed them and helped organized the house. Finally, I worked for a sports department from June to December 2023 taking care of children ages 5 to 17 years old. I was a sports monitor organizing recreational and sports activities for the children.

I took care of Shikai Ma, 1 year old, from 10/2021 to 07/2024, twice a week, normally on weekends, for 4 hours per day. I managed the child’s daily diet, patiently feeding him and ensuring proper nutritional intake. I accompanied him in various activities, including playing with building blocks, reading picture books, and engaging in parent-child games to enrich his daily entertainment. I arranged a reasonable schedule, coaxed and accompanied him to sleep on time, and ensured sufficient rest. I also took him for outdoor activities, exposing him to nature and teaching simple knowledge about the environment. Additionally, I assisted with personal hygiene care, including washing and changing laundry. I cared for Xueyi Ma, 6 years old, from 01/2019 to 08/2021, twice a week, normally on weekends, for 5 hours per day. I was responsible for the child’s daily routines, including washing, dressing, dining, and napping. I accompanied educational activities, such as picture book reading, manual creation, and outdoor exploration, to help the child learn and cultivate interests. I guided the child in developing good habits, including following a regular schedule, organizing independently, and practicing sharing and cooperation. I prioritized safety, monitoring both indoor and outdoor activities and identifying environmental hazards to keep the child safe. I also communicated daily with parents regarding the child’s diet, emotions, and learning progress, and coordinated parenting arrangements. I tutored Qiang Wu, 13 years old, from 09/2024 to 02/2025, twice a week, normally on weekends, for 8 hours per day. I assisted with homework across various junior high school subjects, answered questions, and expanded knowledge. I helped cultivate healthy study habits and guided him to follow a regular schedule. I also accompanied the development of interest activities, such as basketball, and guided reading and communication to enhance comprehension and reading skills. Additionally, I assisted in planning learning tasks and organizing daily necessities.

For me, this is not only an overseas experience but also a cornerstone of my career as an educator. I helped the children take their temperature, assisted the teachers with grading homework, maintained classroom discipline, helped the children record and edit videos, counted the children and helped to safely hand over the children to their parents. I did laundry, made the bed, pushed the stroller, taught the child some basic English and math, and read stories during naptime. I love children very much. I often volunteer for sick children in my spare time, and for a period of time. I help children recognize Chinese and English, help them complete their homework, and assist in order at daycare centers. I often encounter different Chinese and foreign children, all of whom I like and pay attention to. I help children find lost little toys, and if they can’t find their parents, I hold their little hands and shout loudly. I have also helped different neighbors take care of their children for a period of time, pick them up and drop them off from school, so I have some experiences dealing with children, I think I can take good care of children, listen to their thoughts, play with them, and I also want to go to another place to experience the local customs and traditions, to feel how to communicate and get along with children under the collision of two cultures.

I would like to participate in the Aupair program in the US, because I am passionate about working with children, teaching them a little of Colombian culture and why not teach them to speak Spanish. I would love to become an au pair because I've loved taking care of children since I was little, which is why I currently work fulltime in childcare at a day camp center.
