Child Care Experience
I worked at a kindergarten for children 6 months to 8 years old on weekdays for 4 hours from April to July 2016. My responsibilities included taking care of the children, helping them go to the bathroom, helping them eat, teaching them crafts and writing, assisting the teachers in their classes with reading activities, and helping with the children's events. From February to May 2015, I babysat Juan (2) for 40 hours a week. I would teach him new words, read stories to help him learn figures and colors, bathe him, dress him, change his diaper, and prepare food for him. From June to August 2017, I babysat Luciana (1) on weekends for 6 hours a day. This included preparing his food, going for a walk to the park with him, helping dress him, teaching him colors and textures in the stories I read, taking care of him, and putting him to sleep. Additionally, from January to March 2018, I watched Eliel (1) on weekends for 10 hours a day. I took care of him, bathed him, made him snacks, dressed him, kept him clean, took him for walks in the park, played with him, taught him to walk and identify colors and shapes, read stories to him, and did painting activities. Finally, I worked as a teachers' assistant in a kindergarten with children ages 1 to 2 years old on Saturdays from October to December 2017. I helped care for the children, made sure they were well rested, helped them with homework, and did development games and activities in which I organized and tracked their progress.
Sports, Interests and Hobbies
Going to the movies, cooking, watching TV series, studying languages, basketball, and volleyball.
I like to travel and the best way to really know another country is to become an au pair. I also have the qualification that a host family needs because I have experience and the skills to care for children. I have a certificate of first aid and swimming; I like to do crafts; teach English, math, and graphic design; and make desserts.
