From 03/2021 to 05/2023 I cared for Noey (6) everyday. i would prepare food and bath the children, take the kids out to do activities. Pick up and drop off at school, put the kids to bed. From 05/2022 to 02/2024 I cared for a group of students (8) for 40 hours a week. I would take the children to drink milk, supervise their studies, take them to lunch, do activities with the children in class. From 05/2022 to 09/2022 I cared for a group of students (9) for 8 hours a day. I was responsible for taking care of students form the they arrive at school, drink milk in the morning do activities, prepare lunch and send the students on the bus home.

I babysat Maria (6) and Miguel (2) from March to November 2021. I fed the children, put them down for naps, played with them, took them outside, and helped with homework. I was an au pair from May 2022 to January 2024. My responsibilities included breakfast preparation, feeding, playing, doing activities, reading, diaper change, bath time, and nap time. Finally, I've worked as an English teacher since January 2024. I teach children ages 4 to 12 years old. I plan and teach English lessons appropriate for their age and level, supervise the children during classes and maintain a safe learning environment.

I would love to be an au pair again because I truly enjoyed my first experience. I loved being an au pair for two years. I love children, I am an English teacher, and I am passionate about studying grammar. I believe that doing this exchange program for the second time will greatly enrich me in terms of learning, relationships, culture, and education. I took care of Shikai Ma, 1 year old, from 10/2021 to 07/2024, twice a week, normally on weekends, for 4 hours per day. I managed the child’s daily diet, patiently feeding him and ensuring proper nutritional intake. I accompanied him in various activities, including playing with building blocks, reading picture books, and engaging in parent-child games to enrich his daily entertainment. I arranged a reasonable schedule, coaxed and accompanied him to sleep on time, and ensured sufficient rest. I also took him for outdoor activities, exposing him to nature and teaching simple knowledge about the environment. Additionally, I assisted with personal hygiene care, including washing and changing laundry. I cared for Xueyi Ma, 6 years old, from 01/2019 to 08/2021, twice a week, normally on weekends, for 5 hours per day. I was responsible for the child’s daily routines, including washing, dressing, dining, and napping. I accompanied educational activities, such as picture book reading, manual creation, and outdoor exploration, to help the child learn and cultivate interests. I guided the child in developing good habits, including following a regular schedule, organizing independently, and practicing sharing and cooperation. I prioritized safety, monitoring both indoor and outdoor activities and identifying environmental hazards to keep the child safe. I also communicated daily with parents regarding the child’s diet, emotions, and learning progress, and coordinated parenting arrangements. I tutored Qiang Wu, 13 years old, from 09/2024 to 02/2025, twice a week, normally on weekends, for 8 hours per day. I assisted with homework across various junior high school subjects, answered questions, and expanded knowledge. I helped cultivate healthy study habits and guided him to follow a regular schedule. I also accompanied the development of interest activities, such as basketball, and guided reading and communication to enhance comprehension and reading skills. Additionally, I assisted in planning learning tasks and organizing daily necessities.

For me, this is not only an overseas experience but also a cornerstone of my career as an educator. I hope this experience will help me clarify my original intention: education is never a one-way output but a process of mutual growth. Firstly, I majored in Education during my undergraduate studies, giving me a solid professional knowledge base and theoretical background. I thought about getting to the USA for a long time, because I always saw videos photos and more about people who live there. I find the USA fascinating and would love to experience the culture and traditions. Furthermore I love spending my time with children, playing with them or doing other things and more with them. This makes me happy, because I see those smiling faces. Then I watched some videos online, where others spokes positively about being an au pair and I researched what it is exactly about. And the thought, to get to know the USA and care about children of a family that I hopefully grow close to, is amazing.

My responsibilities included caring for the children overnight, preparing their meals, changing nappies, giving baths, helping with school tasks and homework, and practicing netball and hockey with Delaney. I want to be an Au Pair because I enjoy working with children. The responsibilities and requirements of being a nanny provide opportunities for me to learn new things and develop my skills. From October 2019 to December 2025, I cared for Obed, aged 3 years old until 9 years old. I picked him up from school, helped him with his lessons, and guided him through anger management exercises since he can be a bit explosive. Sometimes he stayed overnight at my house because his mom, a doctor, worked night shifts. From January 2025 to December 2025 (currently) I took care for Jessian, aged between 2Months - 1year old. I take her to her medical appointments and handle everything involved in caring for her while she is with me. She is a one-year-old baby, and her mother also has special health needs.
