Child Care Experience
I volunteered at a natural reserve from October 2022 to May 2023 leading groups of 6-year-old children. My responsibilities included nature excursions, observing the sea (i.e. animals, water, marsh), ensuring safety and facilitating age appropriate educational content to the children. I volunteered at a Chimpanzee Conservation Center from November 2023 to February 2024 teaching groups of children ages 6 to 13 years old. My responsibilities included volunteering in different schools, teaching them about the food cycle, and doing workshops (i.e. crafts about the food cycle, crafts relating to nature). Finally, I looked after my siblings Kyeran (5) and Yleane (1) from October 2008 to July 2025. My responsibilities included helping with bath time, assisting with homework, going on excursions, doing activities, and helping with meals. I have some experience with children with special needs as my younger brother is on the autism spectrum.

It is really important to me to be a part of your family. I don’t want be considered just like an employee because family it is very important to me. I want to share joyful moments with you and your children (even the tears), create and do many activities, even in simple moments like making a cake or watching Disney. I like children's creativity, carefreeness, spontaneity and energy. I am used to take care of children in my familial environment : my sibling, cousins, and recently my nephew. My work in wildlife conservation has allowed me to work with various ages of kids.

I did an internship at a kindergarten in July 2025 taking care of children ages 1 to 6 years old. My responsibilities included caring for the children, organizing activities and assisting with daily routines. I've been a Sunday school teacher at my church since September 2022 taking care of children ages 8 to 9 years old. I play with the children, teach them about the Bible, solve conflicts, and communicate with the parents. Lastly, I've looked after two siblings since January 2016. I do all child care related duties.

I want to become an Aupair, because I would like to see America. I know some friends who spent time there and they all keep saying that it was a lovely time. And obviously, I want to get to know its culture and lifestyle. I think, it will be completely different to live in America a year opposed to just visit the country for a while. I took care of Martin Fandiño (5 months) from August 2024 to July 2025. I took him for walks, fed him bottles, burped him, changed his diapers, put him to sleep, and at night I bathed him, dressed him in pajamas, and put him to bed. As he grew, I also did stimulation activities and played with him in the garden. I also cared for Karla Arias (6 years old) and Mathew Arias (2 years old) from March 2023 to November 2023, I served them lunch, prepared simple meals, helped with homework, took them to the park, attended school activities with them, read stories, and walked the family pet. I additionally cared for Martin Patiño (2 years old) from July 2022 to October 2022. I prepared meals and snacks, helped with schoolwork, changed his clothes, occasionally bathed him, and took him to the park.

I took care of Elri (3) and Ewald (2) from August 2023 to February 2026, where my responsibilities included feeding them, driving them when needed, dressing them, entertaining them. I also worked at a crèche with children aged 3 months to 7 years from February 2026 to the present, working 10 hours per day, 2–3 times a week and sometimes Monday to Friday, where I supported similar daily care routines and activities, changing diapers due to their autism, playing with them, keeping them engaged, and ensuring they ate properly, as some struggled with eating because of their condition.

I took care of Thomas and Luciana, 6 years and 2 years, from May 2023 to November 2024. I helped with academic tasks, feeding, ensuring the children enjoyed their meals during the day, and entertaining and playing with them during free time. At Kingdomagic Kindergarten, ages 2-7, from November 2024 to December 2024, I provided care, facilitated fine and gross motor classes, taught mathematics and linguistic logic, supported food consumption, assisted in the bathroom, and engaged in attention activities and recreational and experimental activities. At Genius School Kindergarten, ages 2-6, from November 2024 to January 2025, 5 days per week, 4 hours per day, I provided comprehensive care, assisted with sphincter control, conducted pedagogical activities, played with the children, and watched age-appropriate movies. I also took care of Santiago, a 1-year-old, from February 2025 to July 2025, five days per week for four hours each day. My responsibilities included giving him daily baths, preparing and feeding him bottles and basic meals, putting him down for naps, changing diapers, taking him to the playground, and engaging him in stimulation activities.

I want to be an au pair because I really want to experience America and see it the way it looks in the movies. I love to travel, and I have always wanted to visit the USA. I want to experience their culture and traditions that do not exist in Sweden. I would like to live or study in another country; it has always been my dream. I also like kids, and they usually like me too, so I thought it was a perfect opportunity. The best thing about spending time with kids is seeing their development and how they learn new things. I think my strengths are that I am pedagogical and enjoy teaching children new things, such as how to play a sport or, for example, when I teach my niece some English words. I truly enjoy spending time with them, playing, taking care of them, and helping them grow and develop. For five years, I worked with children aged 2 to 16 in a sports club. I started as a volunteer, then became an instructor and later the coordinator of a “baby handball” group. I organized activities adapted to children while ensuring their safety and encouraging confidence and teamwork.
