I've been caring for Nia (1) since July 2023. I take her to the playground and play with her. I am first aid certified. I have experience in caring for children with special needs. I cared for Emiliya every other weekend from January to June 2023. My responsibilities were preparing meals, playing with her and putting her to bed. I took care of Thomas, 10 years old, from October 2022 to December 2022. My responsibilities included picking him up from school, helping him with his homework and reviewing what he had learned in class, preparing his lunch, and taking him to his soccer lessons. I took care of Jhojan Esteban, 6 years old, from May 2023 to September 2023. I prepared his breakfast, helped with his morning routine, and engaged him in games and activities such as painting, reading, singing, dancing, baking cookies and desserts. I also served him lunch and took him to the park in the afternoons. I cared for Mariam Lizeth, 1 year old, from October 2023 to May 2024. I prepared her bottle, bathed her, changed her diaper, prepared her lunch, and did activities to stimulate her to take her first steps. I also helped her take her nap and took her to different places to play. I currently care for Samantha, 7 months old, from June 2024 to February 2025. I get her up and dress her to go to the park, prepare her bottle and give her lunch, change her diaper, play with her educational toys, help her take her afternoon nap, and dress her in pajamas afterward.

Becoming an Au Pair in the United States has been a dream of mine for a long time. I’m so excited about the opportunity to care for children, create beautiful memories, and share unforgettable experiences. I also want to immerse myself in American culture, improve my English, and learn from your family traditions while sharing some of mine, like food, music, and Folklore dance.

From January 2024, I have helped out at Sunday school with children from 3 to 11 years of age for two hours per week. I give weekly lessons, organize activities and quarterly parties, discipline, and classroom management. From January 2020, I have occasionally taken care of Kayla (11). I drive the child to school and activities, prepare meals and school lunch, help with homework, organize parties and help with routines. During the month of June 2023, I occasionally took care of Liam (9). I prepared meals, drove the child to activities, entertained and babysat the child. From August to September 2020, I took care of Zavier (2 months). I prepared food, gave baths, did the bedtime and naptime routines, entertained, and cleaned all the equipment and bottles. From October to December 2020, I took care of Cassidy (11), Cayden (6) and Caylee (6). I prepared food, entertained, assisted with school work during homeschool due to covid, helped make the children's beds, gave baths, and did the morning and bedtime routines.

I would like to be part of the program not only for the amazing opportunity to experiance a new culture but for the opportunity to do this in a family setting as I will be joining a host family in an exchange of culture as well as doing this while providing a safe form of childcare for the family while experiencing life with them while in the program. From October 2024 to March 2025, I was a tutor to Andrea (16) helping her with her homework. I've been babysitting Vincenzo, now 10 years old, since October 2016 when needed. When he was a baby, I fed him, changed diapers and put him down for naps. Now I play with him and help with homework. Finally, I've also babysat Thomas (10) and Ivan (11) since they were babies in 2015. I bottle fed them and supported the mother, now I help with homework and take them swimming in the pool.

I assisted the teachers with the daily running of the classroom, monitored the children, read stories, assisted with assessments when required, supported toilet routines, assisted at school functions, helped with feeding, changed diapers, and supervised the children during indoor and outdoor play. From February 7th to February 28th, I helped out at Sunny Lea Preprimary School with children from 4 to 5 years of age for twenty hours a week. I supervised the children during playtime and snack time, helped with bathroom routines, helped with playground routines, participated in educational activities, assisted with artwork and creative projects, and supported daily tasks with the children both inside and outside the classroom.
