I took care of Theo Hetzel, 4 years old, and Ida Hetzel, 3 years old, from 02.03.2024 until today. My responsibilities were playing with them, reading books, feeding them, cooking for them, organizing outside activities, doing crafts with them, and getting them ready for sleep. I also provided math tutoring to a 14-year-old student once a week from September 2024 to July 2025, where I helped with math exercises and homework. In July 2023, I completed a three-day internship with children aged 3–6, where I played with them, read books, and did crafting activities together.

From 03/2023to 11/2024 I cared for Nicolas (5) for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. I would pick him up from school, make lunch, help with homework, read, do crafts, and enjoy the outdoors together. From 10/2023 to 11/2024 I cared for Isabella (7) and Sebastian (9) for 3 hours a day, 3 days a week, I would prepare snacks, help with homework, play, take her to her dance classes draw, paint and organize her clothes. I took care of Sara, an 8-year-old girl, from June 2021 to July 2022. My responsibilities included taking her to and picking her up from school, giving her lunch, preparing and serving snacks, checking her daily school activities, and guiding her with homework. I also engaged her in different activities such as playing games, doing handicrafts, solving puzzles, and enjoying board games together. From November 2023 to February 2024, I cared for Dulce, a 2-year-old girl. I picked her up from kindergarten, gave her lunch, helped with school-related activities, and played with her. We did various creative activities she enjoyed, such as painting and making crafts. I also got her belongings ready for the next day, made her dinner, and helped her prepare for bed. Currently, since September 2024, I have been taking care of Ammy, a 6-month-old baby. My duties include bathing her, feeding her, changing diapers, helping her take naps, and monitoring her while she sleeps.

*First-Aid Certified* I want to become an au pair because I am really fond of traveling and discovering other cultures. Since I was teenager, I am fascinated by the US not just because of the landscapes and all but mostly because I want to know the American culture even more by being immersed in it. But not only I like cultural exchanges but I am also a qualified child care. I have my BAFA, a French childcare diploma, and was a Girl Scout leader for several years. I am independent but also very family-oriented so the au pair program sounded like the best way to make lasting bonds with American people.

I took care of Oliver (7) and Livian (1) from January 2020 to December 2025 and from March 2024 to December 2025. I looked after Oliver once a month for several hours at a time or sometimes for several days, and I cared for his younger sister Livian monthly for a couple of hours at a time. My responsibilities included playing with them, feeding them, going outside, changing diapers, dressing them, and providing overall care. I also took care of Isla (10) and Aava (7) from June 2021 to August 2021, where my duties included playing with them, making lunch, and overall childcare. Additionally, I have been caring for Roni (15) daily from August 2017 to December 2025, which included taking him to and from school by bike, preparing snacks and meals, driving him to practice, and staying overnight with him at home when needed.

The idea of becoming an Au Pair comes from the fact that my mother was an au pair in the USA when she was my age. She is still in contact with her host family, which I find admirable. I have always been interested in living in the USA and learning about the culture, so spending a year there as an au pair feels natural and exciting to me. The main reason I would like to become an au pair is that I want to improve my English skills, and I genuinely love taking care of children. I consider myself a responsible person and feel very comfortable working with kids. I am outgoing and approachable, which helps me get along well with both children and adults. I am hardworking and willing to take on tasks, whether they involve childcare or household duties. I am very tidy and organized, which makes everyday chores easy and natural for me.
