I took care of Rieke, a 3-year-old, from April 2023 to September 2024. My responsibilities included caring for the child, preparing small snacks, and engaging in various activities. I also cared for Philipp, a 1-year-old, from October 2016 to August 2024. During this time, I prepared small snacks and meals, provided childcare, and helped with homework. Additionally, I looked after Emilia and Tessa, aged 5 and 3, from December 2019 to December 2024. I entertained them, supervised meals, and provided general care.

I would like to spend an AuPair year in the USA because I think it’s a great opportunity to discover new countries and meet new people. I really enjoy working with children, and being able to make them laugh through activities, for example, excites me. Helping them on their path in life and supporting them with homework or other everyday tasks is a rewarding experience that I enjoy and want to continue having. From 02/2022 to 11/2022 I cared for Gaby (6) and Nata (9) for 5 hours a week. I prepared their lunch, we did homework, we packed their suitcase for the next day, we went to the pool, to the park,on Saturday I took their to their extracurricular classes, sometimes we went to the museum. From 07/2023 to 10/2023 I cared for Valeria (4) for 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. I would pick her up from the route, prepare her lunch, play with play dough, stitches, puppets, toys, go out to the park, read, do homework. In December 2024 I worked at a Kindergarten and cared for children ages 2 to 4 , 5 days a week. I assisted teachers with daily routines, prepared and led educational games and activities, helped with arts and crafts projects, read books to children, and participated in outdoor play.

My responsibilities included preparing food, helping with washing his face and hands, dressing him, tutoring, and teaching basic Chinese and English. I also helped him develop good habits and organized various activities such as arts and crafts, sports, and outings to amusement parks. I regularly played with him and ensured his safety at all times. I looked after Song Yuxuan, also 5 years old, from March 2022 to September 2022, with a schedule of 40 hours per week. I prepared meals and snacks, taught basic math, and helped encourage positive habits. I also organized activities such as drawing, singing, dancing, reading books, watching cartoons, and doing exercises. Additionally, I took the child outside to play and ensured their safety. From June 2023 to October 2023, I cared for Li Mingzhe, who was 18 months old. My tasks included feeding, preparing baby food, putting the baby to bed, playing, ensuring safety, and taking the baby outside for playtime.

From 03/2024 to 04/2025 I cared for children ages 4 to 8 for 2 hours a day, 2 days a week. I take care of Nela, Tessa and their Brother Kilian while their mother is at meetings or goes to training. I thought about getting to the USA for a long time, because I always saw videos photos and more about people who live there. I find the USA fascinating and would love to experience the culture and traditions. Furthermore I love spending my time with children, playing with them or doing other things and more with them. This makes me happy, because I see those smiling faces. Then I watched some videos online, where others spokes positively about being an au pair and I researched what it is exactly about. And the thought, to get to know the USA and care about children of a family that I hopefully grow close to, is amazing.
