Child Care Experience
I cared for Yahir (3 months) from October 2023 to May 2024. I was helping with feeding, changing diapers, and putting the baby to sleep. I also played and interacted with the baby to support early development. From October 2023 to May 2024, I cared for a group of children aged between 3 months and1 years old. My responsibilities included: to prepare milk the bottles, to bath them, to administer medication (if necessary), to change diapers and clothes, to put them to sleep.. I cared also for Allison (3) from June 2015 to August 2016. I was helping with feeding, dressing, and bathing her, managed daily routines and ensured she followed a consistent schedule, and I played with her.

I've looked after Billy (3) and Ian (2) since April 2022. I do all child care related duties including meal preparation, diaper change, getting the children dressed, brushing their teeth, playing with them and putting them to bed. In June 2025, I looked after Tor (5), Elias (6) and Marta (7). I played with them, prepared meals, took them to the playground, did arts and crafts, and spent time outdoors. I was a handball referee from 2022 to 2024 taking care of children ages 9 to 12 years old. My responsibilities included refereeing matches, explaining rules in a clear and pedagogical way, comforting children who were upset, and making sure that everyone felt seen, understood, and treated fairly. Finally, I've babysat Lisa (4) since August 2025 once a week. I play with her, prepare meals, take her to the beach or walks, and do fun activities with her.

I want to be an au pair because I really want to experience America and see it the way it looks in the movies. I love to travel, and I have always wanted to visit the USA. I want to experience their culture and traditions that do not exist in Sweden. I would like to live or study in another country; it has always been my dream. I also like kids, and they usually like me too, so I thought it was a perfect opportunity. The best thing about spending time with kids is seeing their development and how they learn new things.
