Child Care Experience
I babysat Ithan (8mths) from January to August 2024. I fed and bathed him, changed diapers, dressed him, and put him down for naps. I looked after Maria (7) from January 2022 to January 2023. I helped with homework, did her hair, played with her, and prepared meals. I also looked after Sebastian (7) and Mariana (5) from January 2023 to January 2024. I did fun activities with them such as cycling, painting and cooking, I helped them get ready for school and helped with homework. I worked on a school bus route from February 2018 to February 2020 accompanying children ages 1 to 15 years old. My responsibility was to ensure their safety and well-being and do some entertaining activities with them. Lastly, I cared for a group of children ages 1 to 5 years old from January 2016 to January 2018. My responsibilities included reading, listening to children's songs, teaching letters and numbers, playing educational games and putting them down for naps. I've babysat Ithan (1) since January 2025 on weekends. I feed, bath, and dress him, play with him and do fun exercises with him.

First of all, I love spending time with children; they are the most loving and fun beings, and they help me grow so much as a person through everything they do. Growing up in Colombia has given me a deep appreciation for my culture and language, which I want to share with my future host family. From March to November 2024, I took care of Ana (4), for four hours, Monday to Friday. I prepared snacks, visited family with the child and helped with homework. From February to March 2024, I volunteered at the Eu Picardy Educational Center with children from 5 to 7 years of age. I helped with classroom activities, helped with homework, physical activity and gave love to the children. Form August to October 2023, I took care of Andres (9 months), Efrain (4) and Luisa (6). I woke the children, dropped off and picked up from school, played, helped with homework and prepared dinner.

From June 2023 to December 2024, I took care of a group of children from 1 to 3 years of age, two to three times a month. I played different educational games with the children, did crafts and painting, read stories, helped with feeding and changed diapers. From April to July 2024, I took care of Lucia (11), Marta (8) and Clara (5), weekly during the holidays. I prepared breakfast, supervised the children make their beds, assisted with brushing teeth and get the children dressed, played and took the children to the pool.

My responsibilities included supervising children during free play and organized activities, assisting with meals and snacks, supporting hygiene routines, and helping with early learning tasks such as coloring, storytelling, and basic numbers.
