Child Care Experience
From October to November 2024, I took care of Matias (11 months). I took care of the child, helped with milestones, prepared food, and changed diapers. From December 2023 to February 2024, I took care of Emma (2) on Saturdays and some Fridays. I took the child to the park, read books with the child, pretend play, did drawing, arts and crafts, helped the child with washing hands and using the bathroom and prepared meals. From March to April 2023, I took care of Joel (8). I played soccer and basketball with the child, helped with the routine, helped with school work, took the child to practice and outdoor activities. From January to December 2023, I took care of Martin (1) on Saturdays and some Fridays. I played with the child, introduced nursery rhymes and songs, prepared healthy meals, changed diapers, and created educational and playful activities.

From 07/2022 to 09/2022 I worked at a summer camp and cared for children ages ages 6 to 10 for 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. I would serve as a guide and example for campers by promoting positive behavior and values. From 01/2024 to 07/2024 I cared for Mathias (2 months) for 6 hours a day, 6 days a week. I would supervise, change diapers, and age appropriate activities. From 04/2024 to 11/2024 I cared for children ages 10 to 17 for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I would plan lessons and help with academic success.

I looked after a group of children ages 5 to 15 years old from May 2022 to May 2025. I entertained the children, played with them and organized activities for them. From March to December 2021, I babysat Kiara (6). I prepared meals, did different activities with her, walked to the parks with her and played. One of the main reasons I want to be an au pair is because I want to experience a new culture, improve my English and grow as a person while helping others. Being part of a cultural exchange program is a meaningful opportunity to gain international experience, take responsibility and understand myself more deeply by living with a host family. I really enjoy spending time with children. Teaching them new things, supporting their development and watching them grow gives me great joy and satisfaction. I took care of Alina, who was 1 year old, from February 2022 to March 2023. My responsibilities included laundry, housekeeping, meal preparation, and general childcare. From March 2020 to July 2025, I worked with a group of students aged 3 to 14, Monday to Friday. My tasks included planning activities, organizing games, teaching English, and developing class materials. Since May 2024 until July 2025, I have also been working with another group of students two days a week. I am responsible for designing lesson plans, planning children's activities, and providing general care for the children.

The reason I want to be an AuPair is because being an au pair in the United States will allow me to experience the culture and traditions in an authentic way. I babysat Marian (2) from January to September 2024. My responsibilities were mostly to play with her, help her eat, give her food, change her clothes, take her to the park to play, paint pictures, teach her to organize when we take out her toys in case they got dirty, clean her up or change her, and entertain her until the mom arrived. I babysat Martina (3) from January to August 2023. I helped with homework, accompanied her to activities, played, prepared meals, and did arts and crafts with her, and put her to bed. Finally, I babysat Sofia (1) form November to December 2024. I fed and bathed her, put her down for naps, and played with her.

From June to August 2024, I cared for a group of children aged between 1 and 6 years old. From September 2018 to June 2019, I worked in the church nursery with infants aged 0 to 1 year.
