Child Care Experience
Since January 2014, I've looked after a group of children ages 2 to 12 years old. I do activities with the children, supervise them and prepare meals for them. I volunteered at my church from March 2021 to April 2024 leading youth groups. I had supportive conversation with the teenagers, talking about their everyday life, prepared snacks with them and played with them. I've looked after my younger sister, Sigrid (10), since she was a toddler. I pick her up from school, prepare meals, bath her, do chores with her, help with homework and put her to bed. Finally, I looked after Harald (2) in October 2022. I changed diapers, prepared meals, played with him and comforted him when needed.
Sports, Interests and Hobbies
Spending time with my family and friends, being on the country side, riding horse, taking walks. I enjoy arts and crafts. When I was younger I played soccer, floor ball and like playing most ball sports.

I want to become an au pair since I love children and taking care of children has always been a part of my everyday life. Both from caring for my sister but also being involved in children's groups in church the past 10 years. Children gives such a joy and warmness to me. My brother is an au pair right now and has been a big inspiration to discover the US. I do want to learn more about the American culture, become part of an American family and live the real American life. I hope to gain more knowledge about your culture but also to share mine.

I want to become an AuPair in the USA because I’m very interested in American culture. Living with an American family would give me valuable insight into what life in the USA is really like. It would be a perfect experience for me, as I genuinely enjoy taking care of children. I believe I am well-qualified to participate in the EurAupair program because I am reliable and responsible. I get along easily with people, especially children. I also enjoy household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry. When I’m given a task, I make sure to do it properly. Creativity is another one of my strengths. I enjoy coming up with fun and engaging activities for children. My strengths include having a positive attitude, as I approach new challenges with optimism. I am patient and stay calm in stressful situations. I am also a problem solver who always looks for solutions instead of giving up. Most importantly, I am caring, and I love helping others and doing what I can to make them happy.
