Child Care Experience
I took care of several children, and my responsibilities included the following. For Nicolas, who is six years old, from December 2024 to April 2025, Monday to Friday for six hours per day, I was responsible for his daily routine, including school pickup, snacks, and organization. I provided significant support with homework in subjects such as math and reading/English, and I carried out creative and educational activities such as crafts, cooking, and games. For Gabriel, who is ten years old, from December 2024 to May 2025 on weekends for eight hours, I looked after him, taking him to and from his music and martial arts classes. I prepared his meals, organized his belongings, and assisted with his bedtime routine. We also enjoyed activities together, including going to the park, swimming, watching movies, and doing crafts. At Sarahy Kindergarten, from May 2025 to August 2025, Monday to Friday for four hours per day, I assisted the teachers with children aged one to five. I helped with daily routines such as meals, nap time, hygiene, and diaper changes, and I supported classroom activities including games, crafts, singing, and motor skills exercises, always ensuring the children’s well-being and safety.

From 04/2024 to 05/2024 I cared for a 3 year old every day for 3 weeks. I was responsible for playing, preparing meals and outdoor activities. From 11/2023 to 12/2023 I cared for children ages 3 to 6 for 8 hours a day. I was responsible for baking, playing and supervising.

I've always dreamed of traveling to the USA, exploring new places, and having new experiences. When I found out through a friend that I could travel to the USA while working with children, I immediately started researching it. This experience would also be a wonderful opportunity for me to improve my English. I want to challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone and experiencing a completely new environment. I believe I would be a great au pair because I am very independent and reliable. I help around the house, have no problems with daily chores, and am used to keeping things organized. From February to December 2025, I helped out at Settlers Park Preprimary with children from 1 to 5 years of age for twenty-five hours a week. I assisted the teachers with the daily running of the classroom, monitored the children, read stories, assisted with assessments when required, supported toilet routines, assisted at school functions, helped with feeding, changed diapers, and supervised the children during indoor and outdoor play. From February 7th to February 28th, I helped out at Sunny Lea Preprimary School with children from 4 to 5 years of age for twenty hours a week. I supervised the children during playtime and snack time, helped with bathroom routines, helped with playground routines, participated in educational activities, assisted with artwork and creative projects, and supported daily tasks with the children both inside and outside the classroom.
