Child Care Experience
From July 2023 to August 2024, I took care of a group of students from 3 to 4 years of age. I prepared meals, did activities, light housekeeping, and took the children to the restroom. From July 8th to July 19th 2024, I took care of a group of children from 5 to 6 years of age, for eight hours, two days per week. I cleaned the classroom, did various activities, taught the children to dance, sing and exercise, took the children to eat at the cafeteria, assisted the children in brushing their teeth, and took the children to bed to rest. From January 2017 to July 2024, I took care of Mickey (7). I prepared food, assisted with chores, took child to activities such as badminton, cycling, jogging and did reading and writing with the child.

Because it is one of the best experiences of my life to learn and grow. I enjoy being with children and spending time with them. It’s made me delightful. Anyway, I want to get better at English and discover different cultures. Make new acquaintances and go to new locations. So I decided to join the au pair program in the United States. My strengths are determination and responsibility towards my duties. For example, a few months before I graduated, I had an internship as a housekeeper at a hotel in Phuket for three months. It was a rough time for me, but I worked hard, persevered, and did it well.

From September 2023 to June 2025, I took care of Solene (6) for about fifteen times. I gave baths and did the bedtime routine. From April to July 2024, I helped out at a kids' summer camp with children from 12 to 18 years of age. I did outdoor activities with the children. From March 2017 to June 2024, I took care of Nora (6 months) on about eighty different times. I changed diapers, prepared bottles, read stories, played and put the child to bed.

My responsibilities included picking her up at school, doing activities together, bathing her, supervising her, and feeding her meals. From 01/2024 to 02/2025 I cared for Naomi (3) and Allison (8) on occasion. My responsibilities included: feeding the children, doing activities together and bathing them. From 05/2019 to 04/2025 I cared for Gabriel (4) and Damien (6 months) for about 10 hours a week. My responsibilities included helping with meals, assisting with homework, accompanying them to activities, bathing them, picking them up at school and putting them to bed.

I would like to discover a new culture, as I am convinced that the best way to get to know a country is to be totally immersed in the daily life of its inhabitants. This experience will also help me improve my English while doing what I love, looking after children. As an older sister of three brothers and one sister, I've always been involved in managing daily chores while looking after the siblings, but I've also had the opportunity to look after many cousins and neighbors' children. These experiences have enabled me to develop qualities such as patience, creativity and responsibility. I love organizing creative workshops, whether it's painting, puzzles, crafts or activities such as singing and dancing. I want to be Au Pair because I want to be part of an American family and learn everything about their culture and traditions. I believe that love can change the world so for me it is really important to understand the kids' needs and be there to support them in their personal growth and help them with their emotions. From March 2017 to April 2014, I cared for Suweeraya (5) and Wasinee (9). I took care of the food, we played games, I bathed them, I helped with their homework, and I put them to bed. From June to August 2024, I cared for a group of children aged between 1 and 6 years old. My main responsibilities were: taking them to do various activities such as drawing, teaching them how to do math, singing, dancing, eating together, teaching them to fold clothes, ironing clothes, putting the children to bed, and participating in various activities organized by the school or foundation. From April to August 2024, I also cared for a group of children aged between 4 and 15 years old. I was responsible for keeping the children neat and tidy, doing activities such as drawing, teaching numbers, singing, dancing, teaching ironing, putting away clothes, and having meals together.

I babysat Guadalupe (6) and Facundo (1) from October 2018 to Februar 2020. My responsibilities included preparing meals, tidying up, helping with homework and taking the children outside. I've looked after Valentina (3) and Rocio (8) since February 2019. I prepare meals and do the children's laundry. Lastly, I've babysat Maximo (1) since January 2025. I prepared bottles, changed diapers, prepared meals, played, did laundry, kept child entertained, and put child down for naps.

Becoming an au pair in the US will completely change my life. Not only will I be able to assist at home and ensure that my mother is well taken care of, but it will also make me stronger and more self-reliant. Being far away from familiar surroundings and immersed in a different culture will push me to overcome challenges and become more resilient. From 02/2022 to 11/2022 I cared for Gaby (6) and Nata (9) for 5 hours a week. I prepared their lunch, we did homework, we packed their suitcase for the next day, we went to the pool, to the park,on Saturday I took their to their extracurricular classes, sometimes we went to the museum. From 07/2023 to 10/2023 I cared for Valeria (4) for 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. I would pick her up from the route, prepare her lunch, play with play dough, stitches, puppets, toys, go out to the park, read, do homework. In December 2024 I worked at a Kindergarten and cared for children ages 2 to 4 , 5 days a week. I assisted teachers with daily routines, prepared and led educational games and activities, helped with arts and crafts projects, read books to children, and participated in outdoor play.
