Child Care Experience
I babysat Julieta (2) from March 2021 to March 2022. I fed and bathed her, dressed her, changed diapers, and played with her a lot. I babysat Thiago (7) from April to December 2023 on weekends. My responsibilities were to take him to soccer practices, play with him, feed him, play sports with him and help with homework. I babysat Keilet (3) from February to May 2024. I picked him up from daycare, helped with homework and played with him. I babysat Evelyn (5) from June to December 2024. I helped with homework, taught English, helped get dressed and prepared meals. I babysat Isabella (1) from January to February 2025. I got her ready in the morning, took her to and picked her up from preschool, played with her, fed her and put her to bed.

I want to be an Au pair because I like children, I believe that we learn from children for this reason I like to spend time with them. I am a patient, loving, creative, caring woman and I worry about the well-being of children. I also want to improve my English and learn about other cultures.

From January to August 2025, I looked after a group of children ages 2 to 13 year sold on weekends. I fed and bathed them, took them to the school, helped with homework and taught them English. I babysat Isabella (10mths) from February to December 2024. I fed and bathed her, changed diapers, took her to school, put her down for naps, took her to the park and taught her vowels. Finally, I did an internship from February 2021 to November 2023 taking care of children ages 1 to 10 years old. I supported the children with their tasks and during meal times, changed diapers, organized activities, bathed the babies, and taught them some English.

I want to be an Au pair because I love taking care of children. I like to teach them while I also learn what they like. Furthermore, I also want to become an Au pair because I want to learn about other cultures while I proactive and improve my English skills. Being an Au pair is one of my dreams. I feel qualified for this program because I always enjoyed spending time with children, and I hold a technical degree in early childhood and first aid certificate. From 12/2014 to 01/2018 I cared for Ava (4) for 8 hours a day on the weekends. I would take care of her daily, bathe, put to sleep and prepare food. In October 2024 I cared for Fatin (11) for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I would pick up and drop off child from school and take to activities on weekend and prepares food. In August 2024 I cared for a group of children ages 2-3 for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for caring for them, sleep time, and playing. From 01/2024 to 06/2024 I cared for children ages 2 to 10 for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I would take care of daily matter such as brushing teeth after meals, sleep during afternoon, and arts teaching.

I wish to participate in an Au Pair exchange program in the United States, which is an enriching opportunity that allows me not only to discover America, its people and their culture but also to develop personal and professional skills by being immersed in a family, taking care of children, which would help me improve my English. I want to be part of the au pair exchange program because I have always wanted to discover new cultures and new countries. I also work in a day camp, looking after children from 3 to 12 years old, and I have even prepared treasure hunts for them. I believe my strengths are that I am calm, patient, and fun.
