From 03/2021 to 03/2023 I cared for Diana (11) for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I was responsible for making her breakfast, preparing lunch, getting her ready, bath time and house hold chores. From 04/2023 to 10/2023 I cared for Jennifer (4) for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I was responsible for changing her diapers, feeding, supervising, entertaining her and teaching her how to walk. From 04/2024 to 07/2024 I cared for John (10) for 9 hours a day, 3 days a week. I was responsible for preparing meals, supervising bath time, entertaining, and taking him to school.

I would love to join the au pair program because of the genuine love I have for children and my desire to gain experience caring for kids from different cultures and backgrounds. I am especially interested in the United States because I am fascinated by the different states and the beautiful architecture I’ve always seen in movies. Child Care Experience
From November 2024 to August 2025, I took care of Matías Porras (5 years old), María Andrea Porras (2 years old), and María Paz Porras (7 months old). I worked Monday to Wednesday. My responsibilities included changing diapers, bathing them, preparing their meals, playing with them, taking them to the park, and getting them ready for bed. With María Paz, I also organized her clothes and food, played with her, read bedtime stories, and followed her daily routine carefully. From August 2023 to July 2025, I cared for Salomé Badillo (9 years old) and David Josué Badillo (3 years old). I helped them with their homework and school projects, played with them, watched movies together, prepared snacks, and accompanied them to their extracurricular activities. From September 2024 to July 2025, I took care of Ana Sofía Rojas (2 years old). My duties included changing her diapers, bathing her, organizing her clothes and meals, playing with her, reading bedtime stories, and getting her ready for bed.

I want to participate in an Au Pair program in the U.S. because I love working with children and I am truly excited to learn about American culture and traditions. I took care of Oliver (7) and Livian (1) from January 2020 to December 2025 and from March 2024 to December 2025. I looked after Oliver once a month for several hours at a time or sometimes for several days, and I cared for his younger sister Livian monthly for a couple of hours at a time. My responsibilities included playing with them, feeding them, going outside, changing diapers, dressing them, and providing overall care. I also took care of Isla (10) and Aava (7) from June 2021 to August 2021, where my duties included playing with them, making lunch, and overall childcare. Additionally, I have been caring for Roni (15) daily from August 2017 to December 2025, which included taking him to and from school by bike, preparing snacks and meals, driving him to practice, and staying overnight with him at home when needed.

The idea of becoming an Au Pair comes from the fact that my mother was an au pair in the USA when she was my age. She is still in contact with her host family, which I find admirable. I have always been interested in living in the USA and learning about the culture, so spending a year there as an au pair feels natural and exciting to me. The main reason I would like to become an au pair is that I want to improve my English skills, and I genuinely love taking care of children. I consider myself a responsible person and feel very comfortable working with kids. I am outgoing and approachable, which helps me get along well with both children and adults. I am hardworking and willing to take on tasks, whether they involve childcare or household duties. I am very tidy and organized, which makes everyday chores easy and natural for me.

*** I have coached children whose have ADHD and mental health issues *** I want to become an au pair because I believe the host family would give me a new perspective on life. I also love children, and seeing their joy and happiness brings me joy as well. If I could go to a new country, I would have the opportunity to learn about new cultures and meet new people. I want to become an Au Pair in the USA to learn more about its culture and language by living with a kind family. I love spending time with children and believe this experience will help me grow personally and professionally. I have cared for kids since I was 13, starting with my siblings and later helping family friends. I’ve looked after my twin nieces since they were three, taking them to school, helping with homework, and playing together. I’ve also cared for other children, including a coworker’s baby. When I was in junior high school, a foreign teacher from the United States told us how fascinating the world abroad could be. He encouraged me to visit his home country and learn more if I ever had the opportunity. Since I’ve been learning English since childhood, I’ve always been curious about what America is really like, whether it’s as free and democratic as we read in our textbooks. I want to experience its culture and history firsthand. Because I enjoy spending time with children and connect well with them, becoming an au pair and living with an American family feels like the perfect path for me. It not only allows me to fully experience American culture but also helps me explore a new way of building relationships with children in a different cultural environment.

I took care of Amina (8 years old) and Amine (9 years old) from September 2025 to December 2025. My responsibilities included watching the children and playing games with them. I took care of Channa (4 years old) and Tyron (6 years old) from September 2025 to January 2026. My responsibilities included picking them up from school, helping them with homework, preparing meals, and doing activities with them. I took care of Elizia (3 years old) from February 2025 to July 2025 during school breaks. My responsibilities included picking the child up from the nanny’s house, doing activities together, giving snacks, and bathing the child for a total of 51 hours. I took care of Johan (11 years old), Taiss (8 years old), Maleek (5 years old), and Adria (2 years old) from September 2024 to November 2025. My responsibilities included picking them up from school, helping with meals, and assisting with homework for a total of 200 hours. I took care of Tilia (3 to 9 years old) from July 2020 to August 2025 occasionally. My responsibilities included helping with meals, picking the child up from school, and doing activities.

I wish to participate in the program because it represents a unique opportunity for me to discover a new culture, practice my English, and have an enriching experience living with an American family. I want to be an Au Pair because I love spending time with children and learning from different cultures. For me, it is the perfect way to improve my English while doing something meaningful, becoming part of a family, helping with their children, and growing personally. As the oldest sister in a large family, I grew up caring for my younger siblings and have always been trusted with responsibility. I also spend many weekends with my little cousins, going to the park, swimming, or simply playing together. In addition, during family gatherings, I often looked after my mother’s friends’ children since I was the oldest. These experiences have taught me to be responsible, patient, and caring.
