Child Care Experience
I took care of Delaney (13), Suné (9), and Ameray (3) from January 2020 to the present. My responsibilities included caring for the children overnight, preparing their meals, changing nappies, giving baths, helping with school tasks and homework, and practicing netball and hockey with Delaney. I also cared for Ivan (9) and Ruan (11) from January 2023 to January 2025. My responsibilities included helping with homework, walking the dogs, making lunch, taking the children to activities, sleeping over when needed, playing board games, and practicing hockey, soccer, and guitar with them. Additionally, I cared for Layla (10), Samuel (7), and Abi (3) from January 2021 to January 2023. My responsibilities included preparing lunch, bottle-feeding, supervising nap time, providing constant supervision, keeping the environment clean, helping the older children with homework and school tasks, and taking them to the park or playing games with them at home.

I want to become an au pair in the USA because I have a genuine love for working with children. I find so much joy in being around them and helping them learn and grow. I’ve gained a lot of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to older kids. I have babysat regularly and have looked after children in both casual and more structured settings. Child Care Experience
From January 2025, I have helped out at Medi Clinic with babies from newborn to 6 months of age. I help with tube feeding, wash babies, check temperature, monitor weight, change diapers, prepare and sterilize bottles, help with purping and soothing the babies after feeding and record sleep patterns to ensure their health, comfort and well-being. From February 2024 to September 2025, I took care of Nate (8), Noah (6) and Damian (3) for eight hours a week. I supervised their daily routines, prepared meals and snacks, assisted with homework and age-appropriate learning activities, ensured good hygiene, gave baths and assisted with teeth brushing, planned and supervised outdoor and indoor play, made sure the children were safe and engaged, kept their play area tidy, helped with bedtime routine, and provided structure, guidance and emotional support while setting clear boundaries and encouraging positive behavior. From April 2016 to August 2025, I took care of Aio (9) for twenty-five hours a week. I changed diapers, prepared meals and bottles, put the child down for naps, maintained a safe and nurturing environment, gave baths, supervised daily routines and chores, planned age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, supported learning through games and educational play, and provided emotional support, encouraged independence and ensured consistent supervision, structure and safety at all times.

I took care of Thomas, 10 years old, from October 2022 to December 2022. My responsibilities included picking him up from school, helping him with his homework and reviewing what he had learned in class, preparing his lunch, and taking him to his soccer lessons. I took care of Jhojan Esteban, 6 years old, from May 2023 to September 2023. I prepared his breakfast, helped with his morning routine, and engaged him in games and activities such as painting, reading, singing, dancing, baking cookies and desserts. I also served him lunch and took him to the park in the afternoons. I cared for Mariam Lizeth, 1 year old, from October 2023 to May 2024. I prepared her bottle, bathed her, changed her diaper, prepared her lunch, and did activities to stimulate her to take her first steps. I also helped her take her nap and took her to different places to play. I currently care for Samantha, 7 months old, from June 2024 to February 2025. I get her up and dress her to go to the park, prepare her bottle and give her lunch, change her diaper, play with her educational toys, help her take her afternoon nap, and dress her in pajamas afterward.

I have always liked cultural exchanges and experiences abroad because I think they help us grow and learn about different ways of life. Joining the Au Pair program in the United States is a great opportunity for me to discover American culture and share my own. One of the most meaningful experiences in my life was my two-month humanitarian mission in Togo, Africa. I worked in an orphanage where I took care of young children: helping them get dressed, feeding them, playing with them, and giving them comfort. I really enjoy working with children.
