Child Care Experience
From August 2017 to March 2019, I cared for Nashla (8 months). I fed her, changed her diapers, gave her medicine when she was sick. I played with her, organized her room and I did some house roles like do the dishes, mop the floor etc. From June 2020 to November 2021, I cared for Roldan (9 months). I prepared his meals, changes his clothes and diapers, I gave him food, played with him and kept him clean. From May 2023 to February 2024, I cared for Amy (9 months). I took care of her, fed her, changed diapers and gave her medicine when she was sick. I also did everything related to cleaning.

I would like to participate in this program because I would like to improve my English, have new experiences in a different country from mine, to know about different culture, meet new places also new people and I think the main reason would be because I really like what I will do there. I babysat Ana (12) and Maria (12) from November 2022 to February 2025. My responsibilities included getting their clothes ready, taking them to and from school, preparing meals, helping with homework. I babysat 4 children ages 1 to 8 years old from January 2023 to December 2024 on weekends. I helped them get dressed, changed the youngest child's diapers, read stories to them, prepared meals, helped with homework, played with them at the park and watched movies with them. Finally, I volunteered at a preschool in March 2024 taking care of children ages 2 to 4 years old. I sang song and danced with the children, prepared meals and did fun activities.

From March 2020 to March 2024, I took care of Ambre (4) and Margot (2) for about fourteen times. I did activities with the children, played and prepared food. From March 2020 to March 2024, I took care of Justine (6) for about sixteen times. I prepared meals, did activities, went to the park, and did drawing and crafts with the child. From September to December 2024, I often took care of Andres (1). I gave baths, went on outings, prepared food, changed diapers, and supervised nap time. From September 2021 to March 2024, I took care of Lise (7) and Elon (3) afte school. I helped with homework, went for walks, gave baths, prepared meals and snacks, read books and played board games with the children. During the month of July 2023, I did a two-week internship in an at-home daycare with a group of four children from 3 months to 3 years of age. I served food, changed diapers, played, went to the park and supervised during nap time.

I wish to participate in an Au Pair exchange program in the United States, which is an enriching opportunity that allows me not only to discover America, its people and their culture but also to develop personal and professional skills by being immersed in a family, taking care of children, which would help me improve my English. I want to be an au pair because I love children. In my opinion, children are great life teachers. They have taught me to be happy, to enjoy life's simple pleasures, to have a pure and forgiving heart, and to live in the present. I want to fulfill my dream of traveling to the United States, learning about its culture, adapting to new customs, meeting people, improving my English, and, most importantly, providing unconditional support to children. I volunteered as a school assistant from March 2022 to July 2023 taking care of children ages 10 to 13 years old . My responsibilities included supervision in different subjects and assisting children with special needs. I was a substitute teacher at a kindergarten in January 2025 taking care of children ages 2 to 6 years old. I supervised the children, played with them, and monitored their breaks. Lastly, I have worked at another kindergarten a few times a a month since January 2025 taking care of children ages 3 to 6 years old. I welcome the children in the morning, play with them, and assist them with daily tasks.

From March 2017 to April 2014, I cared for Suweeraya (5) and Wasinee (9). I took care of the food, we played games, I bathed them, I helped with their homework, and I put them to bed. From June to August 2024, I cared for a group of children aged between 1 and 6 years old. My main responsibilities were: taking them to do various activities such as drawing, teaching them how to do math, singing, dancing, eating together, teaching them to fold clothes, ironing clothes, putting the children to bed, and participating in various activities organized by the school or foundation.
