Child Care Experience
I took care of Martin, who is 9 years old, from January 2025 to March 2025. I gave him his breakfast, prepared his lunchbox, took him to school and picked him up, gave him his lunch, helped him with homework, and played with him. I also cared for Emiliano, 18 months old, from July 2024 to November 2024. My duties included picking him up, bathing him, giving him his bottle, managing his nap times, giving him breakfast and snacks at different times of the day, playing with him, stimulating his development, accompanying him as he learned to walk, feeding him lunch, and changing his diaper whenever necessary. From March 2024 to May 2024, I took care of Maria Jose. I prepared and served her meals and snacks, organized games and educational activities, read stories and sang songs, accompanied her on short walks or trips to the park, and always ensured her safety during all these activities.

*** First AID*** I want to live the Au Pair experience in the United States because I consider it an excellent opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and pursue my passion for working with children. From December 2024 to March 2025, I took care of Sara (1) for five hours, Monday to Friday. I prepared bottles, changed diapers, gave baths, got the child dressed and did sensory activities. From July to September 2023, I took care of Danna (6) for five hours, Monday to Friday. I prepared meals and helped with homework. From January 2017 to December 2019, I helped out at a Christian Church every Sunday with a group of children from 3 to 12 years of age. I taught, did games, songs, theater, music, and did social work for underprivileged children. From January to December 2018, I took care of Sharith (8) for eight hours on Wednesdays. I prepared meals, helped with homework, taught English and did recreational activities.

I want to be an au pair because I love children. In my opinion, children are great life teachers. They have taught me to be happy, to enjoy life's simple pleasures, to have a pure and forgiving heart, and to live in the present. I want to fulfill my dream of traveling to the United States, learning about its culture, adapting to new customs, meeting people, improving my English, and, most importantly, providing unconditional support to children. I took care of Laisha Gonzalez, who was 1 year old, from January 2025 to May 2025. I had a routine prepared for her that included three to four naps during the day, afternoon walks, massages, and games to help her learn how to crawl. In addition to bottle-feeding her milk, I also fed her mashed potatoes, chicken soup (her favorite), fruit, yogurt, and beans. I was also responsible for bathing her, dressing her, changing her diapers, and washing her clothes. I cared for Liz Mary, who was 9 months old, from January 2023 to May 2023. My responsibilities included bathing her, changing her diapers, preparing and giving her bottle milk, taking her for walks, and following her nap routine. I looked after Valeryn (7 years old) and Krismel Ortiz (3 years old) from August 2018 to May 2019. I played with them, did crafts, watched movies, danced, and combed their hair. I also helped the older child with her homework, prepared meals, and bottle-fed the younger one.

*** I am certified in FIRST AID and swimming*** This exchange program is a wonderful opportunity to experience another culture up close, share my own culture with others, and live internationally while discovering new places. It allows me to improve my English to an advanced level while doing something I truly love, caring for children and being a big sister to them. Among my strengths, I would highlight my strong sense of organization, both in my personal life and when planning itineraries, as well as my creativity, responsibility, and ability to adapt quickly and handle different situations. From 03/2021 to 05/2023 I cared for Noey (6) everyday. i would prepare food and bath the children, take the kids out to do activities. Pick up and drop off at school, put the kids to bed. From 05/2022 to 02/2024 I cared for a group of students (8) for 40 hours a week. I would take the children to drink milk, supervise their studies, take them to lunch, do activities with the children in class. From 05/2022 to 09/2022 I cared for a group of students (9) for 8 hours a day. I was responsible for taking care of students form the they arrive at school, drink milk in the morning do activities, prepare lunch and send the students on the bus home.

First of all, becoming an au pair exchange program participant in the USA is the opportunity to keep on working with children since that is what I like the most. Also, because I want to improve my English oral skills, visit new places, learn about a new culture and share my own with my host family. Secondly, I consider I am responsible, independent, attentive, honest, empathic, hardworking and lovely. All those personaly traits are bland skills I can use for taking care of the children and making of this experience the best one ever. Furthermore, all my knowledge and the experience working with children as a nurse assistant is the most valuable strength I have for assiting the children in any urgency or emergency. Also, I know how to give First Aid Assistance in any unexpected situation.

I took care of children between the ages of 2 and 13, including a group of children from May 2025 to July 2025. My responsibilities included supervising the children, organizing activities, playing with them, preparing meals, and creating a fun and safe environment. I also cared for Diego, a 7-year-old boy, from August 2024 to September 2024. With him, I organized his daily routine, prepared meals and snacks, played together, took him to the beach, and helped with bathing. Additionally, I cared for Flavia, a 7-year-old girl, from June 2023 to September 2023. I prepared her meals, organized activities, and made sure she had a positive and enjoyable daily experience.

From March 2017 to April 2014, I cared for Suweeraya (5) and Wasinee (9). I took care of the food, we played games, I bathed them, I helped with their homework, and I put them to bed. From June to August 2024, I cared for a group of children aged between 1 and 6 years old. My main responsibilities were: taking them to do various activities such as drawing, teaching them how to do math, singing, dancing, eating together, teaching them to fold clothes, ironing clothes, putting the children to bed, and participating in various activities organized by the school or foundation. From April to August 2024, I also cared for a group of children aged between 4 and 15 years old. I was responsible for keeping the children neat and tidy, doing activities such as drawing, teaching numbers, singing, dancing, teaching ironing, putting away clothes, and having meals together.
