I babysat Luisa (5) from February to October 2024. I played with her, helped with homework, prepared meals, helped brush teeth and get dressed. I babysat Thomas (5) from June to July 2023. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing, playing and helping with homework. I babysat Mateus (9) and Laura (10) from February 2023 to February 2024. I helped with schoolwork and supervised their play.

From 04/2017 to 12/2024 I cared for Christian (2) on occasion. We would play, draw and prepare meals. From 09/2024 to 11/2024 I cared for a group of children ages 4 to 10 for 4 hours a day on the weekends. I would supervise the children and help them during horse riding lessons. From 05/2020 to 12/2023 I cared for a group of children ages 4 to 16 for 2 hours a day, 3-4 days a week. I would assist with riding lessons, and entertain the children.

I would like to become an au pair because I think it is an experience that could be unforgettable. I love taking care of children and playing with them. One of my greatest strengths I think is the family spirit because I come from a family of 3 children and we do a lot of family outings: skiing, canoeing, jet skiing, tree climbing, hiking... First of all, becoming an au pair exchange program participant in the USA is the opportunity to keep on working with children since that is what I like the most. Also, because I want to improve my English oral skills, visit new places, learn about a new culture and share my own with my host family. Secondly, I consider I am responsible, independent, attentive, honest, empathic, hardworking and lovely. All those personaly traits are bland skills I can use for taking care of the children and making of this experience the best one ever. Furthermore, all my knowledge and the experience working with children as a nurse assistant is the most valuable strength I have for assiting the children in any urgency or emergency. Also, I know how to give First Aid Assistance in any unexpected situation.

I am first aid certified. I babysat Emiliano (6mths) from June 2021 to July 2023. I bathed him, changed diapers, bottle fed him, burped him, dressed him, put him in a stroller and went for a walk with him and played with him. I looked after Maria (13) from April to August 2022. I have always liked children, they are very resourceful, and we can learn things with them through new and beautiful moments together, I like to enjoy quality time with them, to be able to teach them part of my knowledge and also learn from them. I am studying the three-year training as educator in kindergarten: 21 children in the yellow group in the nursery school, 3-6 years old from August 2022 to August 2024. My tasks during the day are caring for children, meeting their needs, engaging in activities (creative, movement, music), assisting with toilet needs and diaper changes, brushing teeth, playing games, having meals together, setting the table, resolving conflicts, communicating with parents, reading picture books, and observing their development and behavior. For 1 week in August 2022, I supervised 150 children aged between (8 and 14 years old). I had to: look after seven kids, play, crafts, and do creative things. For 15 days in 2024, I cared for a group of special needs children aged 9-15. I supported the kids with their homework and planned outdoor activities.

I also love traveling and getting to know new cultures and countries. I will be a qualified educator in 2025. Therefore, I think that I am qualified to be an AuPair.
