Child Care Experience

From March 2023 to April 2025, I took care of Sarita (6) and Sofia (8), for four hours, three days per week. I picked up the girls from the bus, assisted with homework, prepared meals, helped with the bedtime routines and engaged in playtime activities. From March to May 2025, I took care of Mariangel (2 months), three days per week for 6 to 7 hours. I changed diapers, helped put the child to sleep, assisted the mother with bath time and played with the baby. From February 2023 to March 2025, I volunteered at a Kindergarten with children from 1 to 8 years of age. I assisted with homework and class activities, served and fed the children lunch and snacks, and led artistic and recreational activities.

The program in the U.S. truly appeals to me because it offers a unique chance for cultural immersion and the opportunity to build a meaningful bond with an American family. Being part of a child’s growth while experiencing a new culture firsthand is something I find incredibly motivating. My previous childcare experience has strengthened my patience, communication I believe are essential for the program.I’m an adaptable and proactive person, always eager to learn and integrate into new environments. My English level allows me to communicate well, and I’m fully committed to improving it even more during my stay. Child Care Experience

From 07/2024 to 11/2024 I cared for Sara (5) for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. I helped her with her homework and accompanied her to her swimming and skating classes. We shared unforgettable moments playing, dancing, cooking, and doing her hair, enjoying every activity together. From 04/2024 to 05/2024 I cared for Julieta (6 months) 7 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for bathing and dressing her, changing her diapers, preparing her bottle and meals. Additionally, I spent time playing with her and doing early stimulation activities to help her start crawling. From 02/2025 to 03/2025 I cared for children ages 1-6 for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I assisted in coordinating classes and activities such as games, robotics, experiments, crafts, motor skills, and pre-writing exercises.

I have always had a deep love for children and the way they discover the world with curiosity and joy. Being an Au Pair in the United States is a wonderful opportunity to share my Colombian culture and traditions while strengthening my second language, English. Child Care Experience

From June 2023 to August 2024, I took care of Nashly (8), for two hours, four days per week. I planned and carried out various recreational and educational activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor games and creative play. From November 2023 to August 2024, I took care of Stayci (11) and Tyler (9), for four hours, five days per week. I helped with homework, assisted in studying for exams and reinforced good study habits. From March 2023 to July 2024, I took care of Yeralin (14) for two hours, four times per week. I made sure the child was safe, monitored child's activities, applied positive discipline when needed, and taught child the importance of following house rules and to respect others. From March to June 2024, I took care of Astrid (13) for six hours, three days per week. I ensured the child was following a structures daily routine, prepared breakfast, got child ready for school, engaged in educational activities, accompanied child to extracurricular activities and took care of the child until the parents returned home.

I am interested in participating in this program to learn about other cultures and make mine known, meet other people. I like children and I feel more than qualified to work with them, taking care of them, teaching them about my country and culture. Teaching them values and learning hundreds of things, living the experience with them would be an honor, they would learn as much from me as I do from them. I know how to cook delicious dishes to them, I love spending time with them, and I would like to apply my experience to new horizons. My patience, creativity and empathy are my strengths adding the good seasoning.

Child Care Experience

From March 2023 to April 2024, I took care of Danna (1) and Maria (2). I prepared bottles, assisted with showers, played, prepared food, taught the children sports, went with them on vacation, changed diapers, read books, assisted with homework, taught the children how to ride a bike and put the children to bed. From February 2021 to April 2022, I took care of Alllan (2). I prepared bottles and food, helped get the child dressed, took the child to the park, gave showers and put the child down for naps. From November 2024 to May 2025, I helped out at Gimnacio Infantil with children from 1 to 4 years of age. I taught the children and played with the children.

I want to be an Au Pair because I really love kids. I love to spend time with them and I like to take care of them I consider we have to much to learn from them. Child Care Experience

I took care of Noah from June 2022 to April 2025, starting when he was a newborn until he turned two years old. My duties included meal preparation, bottle feeding, burping, giving baths, changing diapers, getting Noah dressed, putting him down for naps, doing his laundry, handling light housekeeping chores, and entertaining him throughout the day. Since August 2025, I have been taking care of Alvin, who was one year old when I started. I currently work 54 hours per week. My responsibilities include putting Alvin down for naps, changing diapers, preparing meals, doing light housekeeping, and keeping him engaged with craft activities, reading, painting, outdoor games, and weekly trips to the park.

From 03/2020 to 07/2021 I cared for Isabella (5) and Juan (1) for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. I picked her up from school, we played in the park, I made her a snack, we studied biology, which is her favorite subject, we danced, and I supervised her baby's nap, gave him his bottle, and dressed him. From 03/2023 to 09/2023 I cared for Mariana (6) for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. I picked her up from school to go home, helped her with her homework, we played, prepared her dinner, helped fold her clothes and organize her toys, get ready for bed, brushing her teeth and putting her pijamas on. From 02/2025 to 05/2025 I cared for Valeria (5) for 5 hours a day, 6 days a week. I picked her up from school, prepared lunch, helped with homework, bathed her, changed her, and put to bed.

I want to be an au pair because I love spending time with children, I love learning about their different personalities, surrounding them with love, and teaching them everything I know. In addition, I would like to experience a new culture, visit new places, practice my English, and learn much more. I consider myself qualified to apply for the program because I have over 1,000 hours of experience caring for children of different ages. My experience allows me to provide good care and teach them different subjects in a dynamic way. From 09/2024 to 10/2024 I cared for Valentin (5) for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for helping with his homework, preparing meals, picking him up from the school and doing recreational activities

I want to be an au pair because I enjoy spending time with children. I love seeing the world through their eyes, accompanying them in their growth, and providing an atmosphere of affection, patience, and joy. Additionally, I am motivated by the idea of participating in a cultural exchange. I would love to learn about a new culture, improve my language skills, and share my own customs and values at the same time. I believe this experience is a unique opportunity for personal growth and for forming meaningful bonds with a host family in another country.

From October to November 2024, I took care of Matias (11 months). I took care of the child, helped with milestones, prepared food, and changed diapers. From December 2023 to February 2024, I took care of Emma (2) on Saturdays and some Fridays. I took the child to the park, read books with the child, pretend play, did drawing, arts and crafts, helped the child with washing hands and using the bathroom and prepared meals. From March to April 2023, I took care of Joel (8). I played soccer and basketball with the child, helped with the routine, helped with school work, took the child to practice and outdoor activities. From January to December 2023, I took care of Martin (1) on Saturdays and some Fridays. I played with the child, introduced nursery rhymes and songs, prepared healthy meals, changed diapers, and created educational and playful activities.

From September 2024 to February 2025, I helped out at Universo del Saber with children from 1 to 10 years of age. I prepared snacks and supported the development of each child's classes by helping with activities that stimulated their cognitive development. From August to November 2024, I took care of Juan (6) for four hours, Monday to Friday. I picked up child from school, prepared snacks and dinner, helped with homework and took the child to the park. From March to August 2024, I took care of Sara (10) for four hours, three days per week. I spent time baking with the child, helped with homework, crafts, watched movies, sang and danced, prepared meals and supported daily routines.
