Child Care Experience
From January 2018 to January 2020, I volunteered on weekends in my church nursery, caring for children ages 1 to 10. My responsibilities included supervising the children, playing with them, organizing activities, and creating fun games in a safe environment. From April 2021 to July 2021, I cared for Samuel (4 years old) Monday through Friday. My responsibilities included picking him up from school, taking him to soccer practice and the playground, preparing dinner, helping with his bath, and supervising his daily routine. From March 2025 to May 2026, I cared for Liz (3 years old) Monday through Friday. My responsibilities included administering medication through a feeding tube, preparing her bottle, feeding her through the feeding tube, playing with her, providing daily care, bathing her, and putting her to bed.

I want to be an AuPair because, first, I love children, and second, I love traveling and experiencing new routines and ways of life. Spending time with children is a wonderful experience for me. I am responsible, adaptable, and I enjoy teaching and helping kids learn and grow. I would love to become part of a caring family and share meaningful experiences together. From September 2024 to June 2025, I took care of Amy (6). I planned and did educational activities, supervised the child's safety and well-being, supported the child's development, supervised the playground area to ensure safe play, monitored playtime, helped resolve conflicts and encouraged positive social behavior during recreational activities. From January 2025 to June 2026, I took care of Valery (7). I taught and supported the child in daily learning, encouraged critical thinking and responsibility, monitored academic progress and provided guidance and feedback. From June to August 2021, I took care of Amahia (5) and Anehelisse (8). I prepared breakfast, supervised the children, ensured their safety and well-being, made sure their daily routine was properly followed, provided attentive supervision during activities and playtime, supported their basic needs, and maintained a caring and responsible environment at all times.

I also took care of Emily Naranjo, an 8-year-old girl, from January 2025 to June2025. My responsibilities included helping her with homework and giving her meals. Lastly, I took care of Matías Alejandro Gonzales, a 4-year-old boy, from January 2024 to December 2024. My responsibilities included helping with his homework, giving him meals, and supervising him.

I want to be an Au Pair because I enjoy working with children. The responsibilities and requirements of being a nanny provide opportunities for me to learn new things and develop my skills. Finally, I've babysat Hannah (7), Lukas (4) and Sophia (newborn) since September 2022 once a week. I play with them, do indoor and outdoor activities, supervise them and make sure they have a fun and safe environment. I would like to become an au pair in the USA because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and taking care of them. Creating a safe and positive environment for children is very important to me. I also want to practice my English because it will be important for my future career, as I would love to become a flight attendant. I believe I am qualified because I have strong childcare experience. I took care of two sets of twins for one year and a half, a 2-year-old boy during holidays, and I regularly care for younger children in my family. I am patient, responsible, organized, and adaptable. Last year, I lived in Mexico by myself for seven months, where I learned Spanish and became even more independent.

I would like to participate in the Au Pair exchange program in the USA because I am excited to experience a different culture and learn about different approaches to raising children. I am attentive, caring, and responsive to each child's individual needs, as I believe every child is unique. I also understand that there are challenging moments, and I will always do my best to listen, support, and be there for the children whenever they need me. I took care of Emiliano, a 1-year-old, from September 2023 to July 2024 and continued from July 2024 to July 2025. I prepared his bottle, helped him get dressed, made his meals and snacks, and ensured he rested. We played with toys, did arts and crafts together, and engaged in baby stimulation activities. I cared for David, also 1 year old, from January 2022 to October 2022. I prepared and gave him his bottle, changed his diapers, and we played with shapes, animal toys, and puzzles. I also prepared his snacks and put him down for naps. I completed a total of 800 hours. I took care of Samuel, a 7-year-old, from January 2023 to June 2023. We did activities such as painting and coloring, and I helped him with his school homework. After snack time, we played together. I cared for Emilio, 6 years old, from January 2025 to July 2025. I helped him with his schoolwork while we learned English together. I prepared his snacks, and we had fun playing football, building with Legos, going to the park, and having lunch together. We also fed the horse and the chickens, went to the river, and had a great time bonding.
