Child Care Experience
From August 2017 to March 2019, I cared for Nashla (8 months). I fed her, changed her diapers, gave her medicine when she was sick. I played with her, organized her room and I did some house roles like do the dishes, mop the floor etc. From June 2020 to November 2021, I cared for Roldan (9 months). I prepared his meals, changes his clothes and diapers, I gave him food, played with him and kept him clean. From May 2023 to February 2024, I cared for Amy (9 months). I took care of her, fed her, changed diapers and gave her medicine when she was sick. I also did everything related to cleaning.

I took care of Scarlet Sanchez, 1 year old, and Samuel Suarez, 6 years old, from June 2024 to January 2025. My responsibilities included helping them with their homework, feeding them, bathing them, and providing early stimulation. I worked with a group of children between 2 to 11 years old from December 2024 to May 2025. I guided dance sessions for young girls, assisted with warm-up and cool-down routines, ensured safety during activities, helped with dressing and preparation, encouraged discipline and focus, and supported the girls in starting ballet lessons. I also cared for a group of children between 3 to 5 years old from February 2024 to August 2024. My responsibilities included supervising children during free play and organized activities, assisting with meals and snacks, supporting hygiene routines, and helping with early learning tasks such as coloring, storytelling, and basic numbers.

From March to June 2024, I took care of Astrid (13) for six hours, three days per week. I ensured the child was following a structures daily routine, prepared breakfast, got child ready for school, engaged in educational activities, accompanied child to extracurricular activities and took care of the child until the parents returned home.

I am interested in participating in this program to learn about other cultures and make mine known, meet other people. I like children and I feel more than qualified to work with them, taking care of them, teaching them about my country and culture. Teaching them values and learning hundreds of things, living the experience with them would be an honor, they would learn as much from me as I do from them. I want to participate in the Au Pair program because I would like to live the experience of getting to know another culture and a country different from mine, learning their language and being able to improve my English with native people doing what I like, which is taking care of children. I consider myself qualified for the program because I have experience caring for children from 3 months to 12 years of age, I work as a substitute teacher's assistant in a school with children from 3 to 16 years of age as a writing and reading reinforcement teacher and also taking care of the children at the end of the student session.
