I took care of Lia, aged 10, from September 2023 to November 2024. Lia was a student in my learning group, and I helped her learn proper vocabulary and complete her homework correctly. I also mentored her as she developed from a shy to an open-minded student. Mayla, aged 11, was also part of the vocabulary learning group from September 2023 to November 2024. She learned vocabulary diligently and effectively with my guidance. Benjamin, aged 14, was another student I supported weekly from September 2023 to November 2024. Unlike Mayla and Lia, he struggled with learning vocabulary. Knowing his interest in music, I incorporated musical accompaniment into our sessions to make learning more enjoyable and practical. As a result, he improved by two grade levels. From July 7 to July 11, 2024, I provided full-day holiday care for children aged 7 to 10. My responsibilities included household activities, childcare, shopping, and basic first aid. Between November 2022 and April 2025, I helped students aged 11 to 13 at school once a week. My tasks included tutoring, explaining assignments, and providing general care. Finally, from June 2 to June 6, 2025, I completed a one-week internship at a primary school with students aged 6 to 10. I was responsible for organizing students' workbooks, reading with them, and assisting in classroom activities.

As a former exchange student in Utah, I've learned a lot from being away from home, and starting a new life in another part of the world. Making new friends. Live in a host family. Dealing with homesickness. Even though there are dowsides of an experience like this, I loved and I miss every single moment. I am ready to start a new adventure as an Au Pair and make new memories with my future host family! I consider myself qualified to participate in the EurAupair program because I am fluent in English, therefore communication with my hosts and won't be an issue, I have babysitting experience with American children and overall I have always dreamed to be a big sister.
