From July 2022 to November 2024, I took care of Jaheel (4), for four hours, four days a week. I took care of daily routines, supervised and did recreational activities. In 2023, I had the opportunity to join a work-and-travel program in the US. I’m a housekeeper. I often meet guests who come to stay. Most of them come as families. First of all, becoming an au pair exchange program participant in the USA is the opportunity to keep on working with children since that is what I like the most. Also, because I want to improve my English oral skills, visit new places, learn about a new culture and share my own with my host family. Secondly, I consider I am responsible, independent, attentive, honest, empathic, hardworking and lovely. All those personaly traits are bland skills I can use for taking care of the children and making of this experience the best one ever. Furthermore, all my knowledge and the experience working with children as a nurse assistant is the most valuable strength I have for assiting the children in any urgency or emergency. Also, I know how to give First Aid Assistance in any unexpected situation.
