I worked at a preschool from July to December 2017 taking care of children ages 2 to 5 years old. I supervised their groupwork, did arts and crafts with them, supervised snack time and accompanied them to the bathroom. I worked at another preschool from September to November 2019 taking care of children ages 2 to 5 years old. I assisted the teacher with various activities. From February to July 2022, I was an assistant at a preschool taking care of children ages 2 to 5 years old. From August to October 2022, I worked at a preschool taking care of children ages 2 to 5 years old doing creative activities with them and assisting the teacher. Finally, I babysat Mariham (10mths) and Isabella (1) from February to December 2024. I did fun activities with them, helped their motor development, spent time outdoors, played and explored nature.

I am very excited to be an Au pair because I would like to share my childcare skills and share my experience and skills. Early education is one of my passions and I also want to improve my English by living cultural immersion with an American family. First of all, becoming an au pair exchange program participant in the USA is the opportunity to keep on working with children since that is what I like the most. Also, because I want to improve my English oral skills, visit new places, learn about a new culture and share my own with my host family. Secondly, I consider I am responsible, independent, attentive, honest, empathic, hardworking and lovely. All those personaly traits are bland skills I can use for taking care of the children and making of this experience the best one ever. Furthermore, all my knowledge and the experience working with children as a nurse assistant is the most valuable strength I have for assiting the children in any urgency or emergency. Also, I know how to give First Aid Assistance in any unexpected situation.

I looked after a group of children ages 5 to 15 years old from May 2022 to May 2025. I entertained the children, played with them and organized activities for them. From March to December 2021, I babysat Kiara (6). I prepared meals, did different activities with her, walked to the parks with her and played. From April 2022 to April 2023, I took care of Samuel (1). I want to participate in the Au Pair program because I would like to live the experience of getting to know another culture and a country different from mine, learning their language and being able to improve my English with native people doing what I like, which is taking care of children. I consider myself qualified for the program because I have experience caring for children from 3 months to 12 years of age, I work as a substitute teacher's assistant in a school with children from 3 to 16 years of age as a writing and reading reinforcement teacher and also taking care of the children at the end of the student session.
