Why to choose an Au Pair from Latvia?
- Hard-working. Our winters are cold, for 6 months of the year it is actually snowing or raining here. However, winners have to think ahead and be prepared for both easy and hard times. We are good at planning and improvising as well.
- Open-minded. The landscape is flat in Latvia, so we look far, we look wide and we don't like our vision to be hampered by anything closer than the horizon. We don't always smile but when we do, it comes from the heart!
- Cooking enthusiasts. Cooking at home is very common in Latvia and we say almost nothing about it just because we have learned that it is not polite to speak with a full mouth. Food is to be enjoyed - not to be discussed.

Child Care Experience
From January 2024 to March 2026 (ongoing), I have taken care of Louise (10) in the evening and during school break. I organize activities and prepare meals. From September 2023 to April 2026, I took care of Joanne (10) in the evenings and on the weekends. I did activities with the child at the home, took the child to sports practice and helped with homework. From February 2024 to March 2026, I took care of Lili (10) often. I did activities, prepared meals and helped with housekeeping. During the month of June 2024, I did a two-week day camp internship with a group of children from 3 to 11 years of age. From 05/2022 to 12/2022 I cared for Geronimo (3) 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing and playing with the children, as well as making breakfast. From 08/2024 to 02/2025 I cared for Isaac (1) for 2 hours a day, 2 days a week. *ADHD Experience* I took care of children at Fundación Caminantes de Jesús (groups between 2 and 7 years old) from May 2023 to April 2026. My duties included supervising daily activities, assisting with feeding, helping with hygiene routines, and organizing educational and recreational activities appropriate for their age. I took care of Sofia, who was 9 months old, from May 2025 to June 2026. I was responsible for her daily routines, including feeding, preparing bottles, changing diapers, maintaining hygiene, supporting nap schedules, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. I volunteered at Fundación Cultura Preciosa with groups of children between 7 and 17 years old from April 2022 to April 2023. My responsibilities included supporting childcare during events and activities, supervising children, organizing games, and creating a safe and engaging environment.

I want to be an au pair because I really want to experience America and see it the way it looks in the movies. I love to travel, and I have always wanted to visit the USA. I want to experience their culture and traditions that do not exist in Sweden. I would like to live or study in another country; it has always been my dream.
