Why to choose an Au Pair from Latvia?
- Hard-working. Our winters are cold, for 6 months of the year it is actually snowing or raining here. However, winners have to think ahead and be prepared for both easy and hard times. We are good at planning and improvising as well.
- Open-minded. The landscape is flat in Latvia, so we look far, we look wide and we don't like our vision to be hampered by anything closer than the horizon. We don't always smile but when we do, it comes from the heart!

Child Care Experience
I took care of Kelys (7 years old) from June 2024 to August 2024. My responsibilities included watching over him while he played sports in the backyard, having snacks at 4 p.m., driving him around when necessary, playing the PS4 with him, and making sure he showered and cleaned his room. I also looked after Raphaël (9 years old) and Virgile (3 years old) from May 2025 to July 2025. I picked them up from school, supervised them at the park and on the way home, bathed the younger child and ensured the older one showered, prepared their dinner, and supervised the meal. On some evenings, I stayed later to put them to bed and watched over them until their parents returned. From February 2025 to May 2025, I took care of Emmy (7 to 8 years old) and Maïly (5 to 6 years old). My responsibilities included baking cakes with them (as no processed sweets were allowed at home), supervising their playtime, suggesting new activities, and taking them to the park.

After being a baby-sitter and remembering all the good times with my nephew, the au pair program is perfect to me. Being around children daily and contributing to their development would give so much purpose to my life. I love American values when it comes to family and raising kids. From February to March 2024, I volunteered at the Eu Picardy Educational Center with children from 5 to 7 years of age. From February 2024 to September 2025, I took care of Nate (8), Noah (6) and Damian (3) for eight hours a week. I supervised their daily routines, prepared meals and snacks, assisted with homework and age-appropriate learning activities, ensured good hygiene, gave baths and assisted with teeth brushing, planned and supervised outdoor and indoor play, made sure the children were safe and engaged, kept their play area tidy, helped with bedtime routine, and provided structure, guidance and emotional support while setting clear boundaries and encouraging positive behavior. From April 2016 to August 2025, I took care of Aio (9) for twenty-five hours a week. I changed diapers, prepared meals and bottles, put the child down for naps, maintained a safe and nurturing environment, gave baths, supervised daily routines and chores, planned age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, supported learning through games and educational play, and provided emotional support, encouraged independence and ensured consistent supervision, structure and safety at all times.
