Why to choose an Au Pair from Latvia?
- Hard-working. Our winters are cold, for 6 months of the year it is actually snowing or raining here. However, winners have to think ahead and be prepared for both easy and hard times. We are good at planning and improvising as well.
- Open-minded. The landscape is flat in Latvia, so we look far, we look wide and we don't like our vision to be hampered by anything closer than the horizon. We don't always smile but when we do, it comes from the heart!
- Cooking enthusiasts. Cooking at home is very common in Latvia and we say almost nothing about it just because we have learned that it is not polite to speak with a full mouth. Food is to be enjoyed - not to be discussed.

From 03/2021 to 05/2023 I cared for Noey (6) everyday. i would prepare food and bath the children, take the kids out to do activities. Pick up and drop off at school, put the kids to bed. From 05/2022 to 02/2024 I cared for a group of students (8) for 40 hours a week. I've always wanted to spend time abroad, even more after visiting the US last year for the first time. I'm sure it's the perfect combination of experiencing the culture, taking care of children and being part of a family. Now I have the opportunity to take a gap year during university. I've had my driver's licence for eight years and have been driving almost every day. I started gaining experience early when taking care of my younger brothers and cousins regulary. I always loved spending time with children, they bring a lot of joy in return. During and after school I gained more experience in caring for children and babies, helping with homework and coaching kids in learn-to-skate lessons for ice hockey.
