Why to choose an Au Pair from Latvia?
- Hard-working. Our winters are cold, for 6 months of the year it is actually snowing or raining here. However, winners have to think ahead and be prepared for both easy and hard times. We are good at planning and improvising as well.
- Open-minded. The landscape is flat in Latvia, so we look far, we look wide and we don't like our vision to be hampered by anything closer than the horizon. We don't always smile but when we do, it comes from the heart!
- Cooking enthusiasts. Cooking at home is very common in Latvia and we say almost nothing about it just because we have learned that it is not polite to speak with a full mouth. Food is to be enjoyed - not to be discussed.

Child Care Experience
From September 2020 to April 2025, I took care of Judith and Liza, twins aged 5 to 10 years old, whenever needed. My responsibilities included supervising them, playing with them, helping them brush their teeth, and managing their bedtime routine. From January 2021 to March 2025, I also occasionally cared for Soan, who was between 5 and 9 years old during that time. I cooked dinner, read books with him, and took him to the playground. Between March 2025 and July 2025, I occasionally looked after Ludmila, who was 3 years old, and Noah, who was 12, when their parents went out. I played with them, prepared and served their meals, read to them, and supervised nap time. In addition, from April 2024 to July 2025, I worked with a group of children aged 3 to 5 in a day camp center during school holidays, where I created games, helped with meals, and read stories before nap time.

I want to be part of the au pair exchange program because I have always wanted to discover new cultures and new countries. I also work in a day camp, looking after children from 3 to 12 years old, and I have even prepared treasure hunts for them. I believe my strengths are that I am calm, patient, and fun. I babysat Daniel (9) from January to March 2023. I did recreational activities with him, helped with homework, played sports, did crafts and prepared meals for him. I babysat Thomas (10mths) from November 2023 to January 2024. I prepared meals, changed diapers, kept him clean and tidy, helped with activities and sang songs to him. Finally, I babysat Luciana (4) and Salome (7) on weekends. I played with them, did arts and crafts with them, dressed in costumes, helped them get ready, brushed their hair, helped with homework and took them to skating lessons.

From October 2023 to July 2024, I worked as a nurse with newborn to 12 years old children. My duties were: helping them giving baths and feeding them, if necessary, burnishing their teeth, stimulation exercises, painting. From January 2023 to August 2023, I cared Thiago, 4 years old. I accompany him and direct school activities, provide food such as lunch and afternoon snacks, ensure responsibility and respect for the child, engage in learning activities through games, puzzles, coloring, and physical activities, and accompany the child to play areas outside the house, including sports activities and outings to parks. From November 2023 to August 2024, I cared for Hellen and her brothers Alonso and Jhon (4-12 years old). I provide homework support, prepare breakfast and lunch meals, play games and engage in recreational activities, teach how to make desserts, and instruct bicycle riding. I also cared for Angelica; 5 Months old from July 2024 to February 2025. I worked Monday to Saturday, 8 hours per day. My responsibilities included doing stimulation exercises, visual games, and activities using her five senses for early stimulation.
