Why to choose an Au Pair from Latvia?
- Hard-working. Our winters are cold, for 6 months of the year it is actually snowing or raining here. However, winners have to think ahead and be prepared for both easy and hard times. We are good at planning and improvising as well.
- Open-minded. The landscape is flat in Latvia, so we look far, we look wide and we don't like our vision to be hampered by anything closer than the horizon. We don't always smile but when we do, it comes from the heart!
- Cooking enthusiasts. Cooking at home is very common in Latvia and we say almost nothing about it just because we have learned that it is not polite to speak with a full mouth. Food is to be enjoyed - not to be discussed.

From 10/2024 to 09/2025 I cared for Glenn (3) twice a week. My responsibilities included welcoming and supervising the child at home, preparing meals and snacks, organizing suitable activities (games, reading,outings), as well as assisting with daily routines (hygiene, tidying up). I babysat Gael (2) from January to April 2025. I prepared meals, bathed him, changed diapers and clothes, organized his closet and did different activities with him. I babysat Dylan (3) form June to November 2024. I fed and bathed him, maintained his hygiene, put him down for naps, helped with homework and played soccer with him. Finally, I babysat Celeste (1) and Alyson (3) form January to November 2023. I picked them up from daycare, played with them, did arts and crafts, went for walks, prepared dinner and supervised their naps.

From 01/2026 to 04/2026 I card for children ages 3 months to 12 for 50 hours a week. My duties include helping toddlers with their schoolwork, such as tracing letters and colouring in. I helped feed the toddlers their meals and gave the babies their milk, changed nappies, and prepared simple meals for the children such as noodles and toasties. I also helped the aftercare children with their homework, and I enjoyed playing, singing, and dancing with the children. I often took the children swimming as well. From 02/2022 to 10/2025 I cared for Talan (7) and Mason (9) on occasion. My duties included preparing meals such as toasties and chicken strips, sometimes putting the children to bed, sometimes taking them to and from school, and taking them swimming.
