Why to choose an Au Pair from Latvia?
- Hard-working. Our winters are cold, for 6 months of the year it is actually snowing or raining here. However, winners have to think ahead and be prepared for both easy and hard times. We are good at planning and improvising as well.
- Open-minded. The landscape is flat in Latvia, so we look far, we look wide and we don't like our vision to be hampered by anything closer than the horizon. We don't always smile but when we do, it comes from the heart!
- Cooking enthusiasts. Cooking at home is very common in Latvia and we say almost nothing about it just because we have learned that it is not polite to speak with a full mouth. Food is to be enjoyed - not to be discussed.

I coach acrobatics and supervise the group during training sessions once per week. I also worked with Yusuf, age 15, providing tutoring from July 2024 to September 2024. Additionally, I have been involved with a sports club, supervising children aged 7 to 14 during training sessions since April 2024, and this role is ongoing. I've always dreamed of traveling to the USA, exploring new places, and having new experiences. When I found out through a friend that I could travel to the USA while working with children, I immediately started researching it. This experience would also be a wonderful opportunity for me to improve my English. I want to challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone and experiencing a completely new environment. As a former exchange student in Utah, I've learned a lot from being away from home, and starting a new life in another part of the world. Making new friends. Live in a host family. Dealing with homesickness. Even though there are dowsides of an experience like this, I loved and I miss every single moment. I am ready to start a new adventure as an Au Pair and make new memories with my future host family!
