Child Care Experience

From April 2026, I have taken care of multiple children from 5 to 12 years of age at the Resort Kids Club for eight hours, six days per week during the seasonal summer months. I organize daily games, sports activities, create arts and crafts, supervise the children and ensure the children's safety and well-being. From April to August 2026, I took care of Mila (9) for eight hours, six days per week. I took care of the child, ensured the child's safety and well-being, organized engaging activities and spent quality time with the child. From May to October 2025, I took care of Sasha (11) for three hours, five days per week. I assisted with daily routines, prepared meals, organized educational and fun activities, supervised chores and enusred the safety and well-being of the child.

I want to become an Au Pair because I genuinely enjoy working with children and would love to experience American culture as part of a host family. With my background in Psychological Counseling and Guidance and several years of experience working with children, I believe I am well prepared for this program. I am patient, responsible, caring, and empathetic, and I am able to understand and adapt to children's individual needs. From 10/2025 to 12/2025 I cared for children ages 1-11 for 35 hours a week. My responsibilities included: leading age-appropriate, fun activities while parents dealt with administrative tasks, helping an epileptic girl socialize with the rest of the group, working on self-esteem (i.e. drawing), encouraging social interaction between the handicapped children, and creating a safe environment. From 10/2023 to 08/2026 I cared for Kenzo (8) on weekends and school vacations. My responsibilities included: cooking, playing soccer/badminton, doing outdoor activities, doing arts and crafts, taking him to the park or skate park, playing board games and gardening.

Joining the EurAupair program is part of a meaningful life plan: living this experience between the end of my studies and the start of my career, to discover a new culture and a different approach to education. Working in social work means accompanying people from diverse backgrounds, and becoming fluent in English is important to me. An internship in a pediatric ward and an experience as a day camp leader have helped me develop a real ease with children. I adapt quickly and know how to make everyday moments joyful and meaningful. Joining an American family would be a sincere commitment for me, approached with the same warmth and dedication I bring to every relationship that matters. My studies and internships have taught me to be empathetic, attentive and adaptable. I worked with different people and families, including those affected by chronic illnesses or disabilities.

I babysat Greta (5) from July to August 2025. I organized activities for her, took her to the park to play, prepared meals and did some light household chores. From December 2025 to January 2026, I looked after a group of 4 to 10 years old children at a recreational center. My responsibilities included supervising and caring for the children, organizing and managing activities that were appropriate for their age levels, ensuring the safety of the children, and supporting their daily needs.

Also, I have always been fascinated by the American culture and I am interested in experiencing it firsthand. From 03/2021 to 06/2022, I took care of Rodrigo (2 years old) daily, played with him, prepared his meals, helped with his daily routine, and made sure he was safe and comfortable. I also spent time with him doing activities and keeping him entertained. From 04/2018 to 12/2018, I took care of Jonathan (3 months old) daily, gave him his bottles, changed his diapers, helped him sleep, and kept him safe and comfortable. From 03/2023 to the present, I have worked weekly with a group of children ages 3 to 12, painting their faces, talking and interacting with them, making them feel comfortable, and keeping them entertained during the activity.
