Why to choose an Au Pair from Latvia?
- Hard-working. Our winters are cold, for 6 months of the year it is actually snowing or raining here. However, winners have to think ahead and be prepared for both easy and hard times. We are good at planning and improvising as well.
- Open-minded. The landscape is flat in Latvia, so we look far, we look wide and we don't like our vision to be hampered by anything closer than the horizon. We don't always smile but when we do, it comes from the heart!
- Cooking enthusiasts. Cooking at home is very common in Latvia and we say almost nothing about it just because we have learned that it is not polite to speak with a full mouth. Food is to be enjoyed - not to be discussed.
- English speakers. Most of us speak fluently in at least three languages, and English is one of them.

I took care of Laureline (ages 8–13) from September 2017 to September 2022 on an as-needed basis, where I prepared meals, organized indoor and outdoor activities, went on walks, and put her to bed (300 hours). I cared for Mathieu (3) and Evan (7) from July to August 2023, Mondays to Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., preparing meals, getting them ready, supervising them at the pool, and planning activities (384 hours).
