Why to choose an Au Pair from Latvia?
- Hard-working. Our winters are cold, for 6 months of the year it is actually snowing or raining here. However, winners have to think ahead and be prepared for both easy and hard times. We are good at planning and improvising as well.
- Open-minded. The landscape is flat in Latvia, so we look far, we look wide and we don't like our vision to be hampered by anything closer than the horizon. We don't always smile but when we do, it comes from the heart!

As the eldest of a large and blended family, I helped raise my siblings, which taught me patience, kindness, and responsibility. I love children very much. I often volunteer for sick children in my spare time, and for a period of time. I help children recognize Chinese and English, help them complete their homework, and assist in order at daycare centers. I often encounter different Chinese and foreign children, all of whom I like and pay attention to. I help children find lost little toys, and if they can’t find their parents, I hold their little hands and shout loudly. I have also helped different neighbors take care of their children for a period of time, pick them up and drop them off from school, so I have some experiences dealing with children, I think I can take good care of children, listen to their thoughts, play with them, and I also want to go to another place to experience the local customs and traditions, to feel how to communicate and get along with children under the collision of two cultures.
