First of all, becoming an au pair exchange program participant in the USA is the opportunity to keep on working with children since that is what I like the most. Also, because I want to improve my English oral skills, visit new places, learn about a new culture and share my own with my host family. Secondly, I consider I am responsible, independent, attentive, honest, empathic, hardworking and lovely. All those personaly traits are bland skills I can use for taking care of the children and making of this experience the best one ever. Furthermore, all my knowledge and the experience working with children as a nurse assistant is the most valuable strength I have for assiting the children in any urgency or emergency. From April 2024, I have taken care of Lola (11) and Joaquin (15). I help with schoolwork, prepare breakfast and snacks and help with cleaning their room. From January to June 2023, I took care of Jonas (12). I picked up from school, prepared snacks, took the child to soccer practice, made sure the child took baths and checked the child's homework. From 01/2025 to 05/2025 I cared for Aurora (4 months) for 6 hours a day, 6 days a week. I changed her diaper, burped her stomach and mouth, bathed her, dressed her, and rocked her to sleep.

I have always felt a great love and commitment for caring for children. I am passionate about accompanying them in their growth, being part of their learning and providing them with a safe, affectionate and stimulating environment. I enjoy sharing moments of play with them, since I believe that through play they can develop fundamental skills. The idea of becoming an Au Pair comes from the fact that my mother was an au pair in the USA when she was my age. She is still in contact with her host family, which I find admirable. I have always been interested in living in the USA and learning about the culture, so spending a year there as an au pair feels natural and exciting to me.
