From March to November 2024, I took care of Ana (4), for four hours, Monday to Friday. I prepared snacks, visited family with the child and helped with homework. From February to March 2024, I volunteered at the Eu Picardy Educational Center with children from 5 to 7 years of age. I helped with classroom activities, helped with homework, physical activity and gave love to the children. Form August to October 2023, I took care of Andres (9 months), Efrain (4) and Luisa (6). I babysat Daniel (9) from January to March 2023. I did recreational activities with him, helped with homework, played sports, did crafts and prepared meals for him. I babysat Thomas (10mths) from November 2023 to January 2024. I prepared meals, changed diapers, kept him clean and tidy, helped with activities and sang songs to him. Finally, I babysat Luciana (4) and Salome (7) on weekends. I played with them, did arts and crafts with them, dressed in costumes, helped them get ready, brushed their hair, helped with homework and took them to skating lessons.

I want to participate in the Au Pair program because I would like to live the experience of getting to know another culture and a country different from mine, learning their language and being able to improve my English with native people doing what I like, which is taking care of children. I would like to be part of the program not only for the amazing opportunity to experiance a new culture but for the opportunity to do this in a family setting as I will be joining a host family in an exchange of culture as well as doing this while providing a safe form of childcare for the family while experiencing life with them while in the program.
