Child Care Experience
From July 2023 to August 2024, I took care of a group of students from 3 to 4 years of age. I prepared meals, did activities, light housekeeping, and took the children to the restroom. From July 8th to July 19th 2024, I took care of a group of children from 5 to 6 years of age, for eight hours, two days per week. I cleaned the classroom, did various activities, taught the children to dance, sing and exercise, took the children to eat at the cafeteria, assisted the children in brushing their teeth, and took the children to bed to rest. From January 2017 to July 2024, I took care of Mickey (7). I prepared food, assisted with chores, took child to activities such as badminton, cycling, jogging and did reading and writing with the child.

Because it is one of the best experiences of my life to learn and grow. I enjoy being with children and spending time with them. It’s made me delightful. Anyway, I want to get better at English and discover different cultures. Make new acquaintances and go to new locations. So I decided to join the au pair program in the United States. My strengths are determination and responsibility towards my duties. For example, a few months before I graduated, I had an internship as a housekeeper at a hotel in Phuket for three months. It was a rough time for me, but I worked hard, persevered, and did it well.

From September to November 2024, I occasionally took care of a group of children from 4 to 10 years of age. I supervised and organized games. From 03/2020 to 02/2024 I cared for Samanta (10) on the weekends. I would supervise what she does online, be aware with her activities, and cooking. From 08/2022 to 10/2023 I cared for a group of children ages 2 to 14 for 8 hours a day, 2 weeks a year. I would entertain and be part of the games, be aware of any accident that could happen, take care of them and make sure they had eaten their lunch before activites. From 03/2021 to 03/2024 O cared for Mia (10) and Carlos (4) for 6 hours a day, 3 days a week. I would supervise, plan and be involve in their activities, do chores and cook.

I volunteered at a children's foundation from July to September 2024 taking care of children ages 3 years old and under, including newborns. I played with the children, helped with feeding them, and assisted the teacher with different activities. I looked after Jimmy (7) from April to August 2022. I helped with homework, played with him and fed him. Finally, I babysat Sebastian (1) from February 2020 to March 2021. I fed and bathed him, entertained and played with him.

Traveling abroad has always been a dream of mine. When I discovered the Au Pair program, it seemed perfect because it combined two things I love: spending time with children and traveling. It's also a great opportunity to improve my English, and what could be better than experiencing American culture from within an American family.
