Child Care Experience
From September 2020 to April 2025, I took care of Judith and Liza, twins aged 5 to 10 years old, whenever needed. My responsibilities included supervising them, playing with them, helping them brush their teeth, and managing their bedtime routine. From January 2021 to March 2025, I also occasionally cared for Soan, who was between 5 and 9 years old during that time. I cooked dinner, read books with him, and took him to the playground. Between March 2025 and July 2025, I occasionally looked after Ludmila, who was 3 years old, and Noah, who was 12, when their parents went out. I played with them, prepared and served their meals, read to them, and supervised nap time. In addition, from April 2024 to July 2025, I worked with a group of children aged 3 to 5 in a day camp center during school holidays, where I created games, helped with meals, and read stories before nap time.

I want to be part of the au pair exchange program because I have always wanted to discover new cultures and new countries. I also work in a day camp, looking after children from 3 to 12 years old, and I have even prepared treasure hunts for them. I believe my strengths are that I am calm, patient, and fun. My responsibilities included picking him up from school, helping him with his homework and reviewing what he had learned in class, preparing his lunch, and taking him to his soccer lessons. I took care of Jhojan Esteban, 6 years old, from May 2023 to September 2023. I prepared his breakfast, helped with his morning routine, and engaged him in games and activities such as painting, reading, singing, dancing, baking cookies and desserts. I also served him lunch and took him to the park in the afternoons. I cared for Mariam Lizeth, 1 year old, from October 2023 to May 2024. I prepared her bottle, bathed her, changed her diaper, prepared her lunch, and did activities to stimulate her to take her first steps. I also helped her take her nap and took her to different places to play. I currently care for Samantha, 7 months old, from June 2024 to February 2025. I get her up and dress her to go to the park, prepare her bottle and give her lunch, change her diaper, play with her educational toys, help her take her afternoon nap, and dress her in pajamas afterward.

The idea of becoming an Au Pair comes from the fact that my mother was an au pair in the USA when she was my age. She is still in contact with her host family, which I find admirable. I have always been interested in living in the USA and learning about the culture, so spending a year there as an au pair feels natural and exciting to me. The main reason I would like to become an au pair is that I want to improve my English skills, and I genuinely love taking care of children.
