Find au Au Pair Who's Right For Your Family
While having a baby is rewarding beyond measure, it can also become exhausting. You may feel like you could use an extra hand or two during this exciting time. Consider getting some live-in assistance to help you with caring for your baby.
Use an Au Pair Who Is Infant-Qualified in the U.S. to Help You Out
Babies require constant attention. When you’re not around, your child deserves the same special care you give them, whether they’re a newborn, a sweet one-year-old or an adorable toddler. That’s why we place infant care au pairs in the United States who have experience caring for a child under two.
Infant care au pairs, also in the Regular program, are participants qualified to care for children between 3 months and two years of age. These au pairs have a minimum of 200 hours of documented infant care experience.
Find an Au Pair for Your Child Under Two in the United States
It’s important to enlist the services of an infant care qualified au pair in the United States for your baby. Caring for an infant is very different from caring for older children. It requires special skills and an understanding of what’s developmentally appropriate for your child. There’s a huge difference between watching a child who is old enough to play in their room independently and a child just learning to crawl. That’s why you want to make sure your au pair in America is infant-qualified.
Many parents must go back to work a few months after a child is born, while others find they need more assistance with the baby. Rather than put your child in daycare, you may prefer to leave them home with an au pair who’s infant-qualified in the U.S. and who can give more personal attention to your baby. Infant Care au pairs can care for children 3 months and older. It also saves you the hassle of a daily daycare drop-off. You can trust your au pair with infant care tasks such as:
- Soothing and calming your fussy baby
- Feeding and changing diapers
- Preparing bottles
- Giving baths

I want to be an au pair because, to me, it means becoming part of a child’s memories, and that includes influencing who they will become in the future and how they will treat others. It makes me feel like I’m contributing, in a quiet but meaningful way, to a better future for society. I love learning from little ones and teaching them what I know, and while we enjoy our time together, we can make a difference in the kind of future they’ll have. It’s also a great opportunity to improve my own skills, since my life project has always been to enjoy the process and strive to grow as much as I can.

I want to be your Au Pair because I would love the opportunity to experience life in the USA while doing something meaningful that I genuinely enjoy, which is caring for children. I come from a small town in South Africa, and although I love where I am from, I feel ready to step outside of my comfort zone, experience a new culture, and grow as a person. I am excited by the idea of becoming part of a host family, learning about your lifestyle, traditions, and daily life, and building real connections along the way. I feel that my strengths are that I am caring, positive, adaptable, and easy to get along with. I am a happy and joyful person, and I enjoy building bonds with children while still understanding the importance of routine, boundaries, and responsibility
