Child Care Experience
From October to December 2024, I took care of Mariam (5) for five hours from Wednesday to Friday. I took care of the child after school, helped with homework, baked cookies and desserts, watched movies, played, and prepared the child for bedtime. From February to August 2024, I took care of Adrian (4) for six hours, Monday to Friday. I helped with daily chores, prepared lunch, did activities, played outside, and put the child down for naps. From April 2022 to April 2023, I took care of Samuel (1). I did potty training, taught the child to walk, talk, changed diapers, prepared food, played with the child and took care of the child when the child was sick. From January to March 2022, I took care of Bruce (5) and Kylie (2). I went on vacation with the family, did homework, taught Spanish, made desserts, read books and got the children ready for bed.

From February 2020, I have worked at Preschool Picardias with children from 1 to 5 years of age. I do learning activities, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, teach the children to use the bathroom independently, change diapers, dress the children and prepare food. From March to July 2022, I took care of Josue (2) on the weekends. I changed diapers, prepared food, did teaching activities, played and put the child to bed at night. From June to December 2022, I took care of Jeronomi (6) on the weekends. I picked the child up from school, prepared food, did outdoor activities, and did games and crafts with the child.

I want to be an au pair because I want to interact with and get to know American culture. I also want to do what I like most: accompany children on their life's journey through study and travel while sharing an incredible experience. I consider attitude and knowledge to be of great importance when interacting with children because each child is unique and needs to feel confident in order to express themselves. At the same time, we act as their guide and companion, helping them discover and develop in total communion with themselves and their surroundings. I have completed the knowledge and skill evaluations for the Emergency Care & Safety Institute Course. From November 2021 to March 2022, I cared for Damian (1). I cooked for him, played with him and sang to him. I have been caring for Isaac (3 months old) since October 2020. I cook, play, watch movies, go to the pool and each him basic words and numbers. From March to June 2022, I cared for Rafael (3). We do outdoor activities together, we play in the park and I prepare him snacks. Since March 2022, I have been caring for Emiliano (4). We dance, play soccer, play musical instruments and I cook him dinner.

I want to be an Au Pair because I like to work whit children and accompany them in their growth process, also it would allow me to teach my host kids a little bit about a different culture, other traditions, and about diversity.
