I would love to participate in the Au Pair program because I love children, taking care of them, playing with them, accompanying them in their growth and giving them lots of love. One of my biggest dreams is to travel through the world, and meet different places and different cultures, and I can do that with this program. I wanted to go to countries like U.S.A, France, Spain, and others, so when I discovered this program, I saw an opportunity that I should take to make my dream come true. I want to improve my level of English too, and I think that there's no better way to learn it that practicing with native speakers.

From April to October 2023, I took care of Franco (2 months), for four hours, Monday to Friday. From February to November 2022, I took care of Alejandro (3) for four hours, Monday to Friday. I helped with school commitments, took care of the child when the parents were working, organized the child's clothes, prepared food, practiced reading with the child, taught the child to ride a bike and took the child to the park. From March 2022 to November 2023, I took care of Emily (8), for two hours, Monday to Friday. I helped with homework, organized the child's closet and personal things, took the child to dance rehearsals and went to the park.

I want to be an Au pair because I consider myself a person who has a good connection with children, specially those who always needs special cares. In my experience as an aunt, cousin, nanny and teacher (at some point in my high school), I achieved that empathy that is needed to understand them, knowing how they feel and supporting them in every task with the goal to teach them not just a scholar lesson, also to make them learn about life.

From July 2022 to February 2025, I have taken care of Loic (4), for several weekends a month. I played board games, went on bike rides, walking, prepared breakfast, took child to the bus, picked up child in the evening, helped with homework, prepared snacks, took child to the pool and did baking with the child. For the month of July 2024, I did an internship in a day camp with children from 3 to 12 years of age. I welcomed the children, offered activities such as board games and crafts, organized quiet time, helped with meals and nap time, took the children to an amusement park and wildlife park, prepared snacks, read stories to the children, organized picnics, and offered moments of relaxation. From September to October 2024, I occasionally took care of Robin (9). I prepared meals, helped with homework, prepared snacks and did afternoon activities with the child.

Along with being a big sister with a brother 11 years younger, I also hold the BAFA, a recognized diploma for childcare, and have worked in a daycare center. Thanks to my training and experience, I have developed essential skills such as patience, creativity and listening. I enjoy accompanying children in their daily lives, teaching them new things and contributing to their development in a caring way. I'd also love to experience the great American holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving, decorating the house with my family and preparing meals together for these special occasions.
