Child Care Experience
I worked at a children's leisure center from July 2023 to April 2023 taking care of children ages 6 to 10 years old. My responsibilities included preparing activities, feeding them meals, supervising nap time and doing outdoor activities. From June to August 2025, I worked at a kid's day camp taking care of a group of 3 to 5 years old children. My responsibilities included taking the kids on outings, doing crafts, distributing snacks, and assisting with meal times. I've also worked at a kids' camp since November 2025 taking care of children ages 3 to 11 years old. My responsibilities include helping with meals, giving out snack, doing activities and playing games with the kids. Finally, I've babysat my cousin Lizio (6mths) since January 2022 once a month. My responsibilities include bathing him, feeding him meals, going on outings near the house, playing together and doing activities.

Thanks to my experience as an day camp leader with children aged 3 to 17, as well as my experience with the children in my family, I have developed essential skills such as patience, a sense of responsibility, and adaptability. My motivation and my desire to fully invest myself in this experience make me a committed and reliable candidate. Child Care Experience
From October 2023 to February 2024, I did an internship at an occupational therapy center taking care of children ages 4 to 7 years old. My responsibilities included preparing snacks, taking them to and supervising children at the playground, comforting children, assisting them with tasks, playing with the children, singing and reading to them, cleaning up, buying groceries, helping the children get dressed, and planning and preparing arts and crafts. During my internship, I supported children with developmental delays, motor skill difficulties, sensory processing issues, anxiety, and attention or behavioral challenges such as ADHD. I did another internship from April to July 2024 taking care of children ages 3 to 11 years old. My responsibilities included playing with the children, cleaning up, supervising the children around animals such as dogs, horses and chicken, planning, preparing and doing arts and crafts activities, comforting children, observing the therapist during their work. I worked with children who had speech and language delays, learning difficulties, social-emotional challenges, and developmental disorders. Finally, I babysat Lily (9) and Samuel (5) from March 2023 to February 2026 . I looked after them at the playground, played with them, drew pictures with them and cleaned up after them.

Another important motivation for me is my genuine enjoyment of spending time with children. Through my school experience and personal life, I have had many opportunities to work with children in many different settings. From 01/2021 to 01/2023 I cared for Emmanuel (2 months) for 7 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for feeding, bathing, changing diapers, putting the baby to sleep, burping, dressing, playing, reading stories, helping with homework, and supervising activities. From 06/2025 to 09/2025 I cared for Madelein (1 month) for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for changing her diapers, burping her, giving her a bottle, entertaining her, bathing her, and putting her to sleep. From 02/2025 to 05/2025 I cared for children ages 3 to 10. I was responsible for supporting them with their activities, cutting out worksheets, playing with them, and reading stories.

I took care of Thomas, 10 years old, from October 2022 to December 2022. My responsibilities included picking him up from school, helping him with his homework and reviewing what he had learned in class, preparing his lunch, and taking him to his soccer lessons. I took care of Jhojan Esteban, 6 years old, from May 2023 to September 2023. I prepared his breakfast, helped with his morning routine, and engaged him in games and activities such as painting, reading, singing, dancing, baking cookies and desserts. I also served him lunch and took him to the park in the afternoons. I cared for Mariam Lizeth, 1 year old, from October 2023 to May 2024. I prepared her bottle, bathed her, changed her diaper, prepared her lunch, and did activities to stimulate her to take her first steps. I also helped her take her nap and took her to different places to play. I currently care for Samantha, 7 months old, from June 2024 to February 2025. I get her up and dress her to go to the park, prepare her bottle and give her lunch, change her diaper, play with her educational toys, help her take her afternoon nap, and dress her in pajamas afterward.

I took care of Oliver (7) and Livian (1) from January 2020 to December 2025 and from March 2024 to December 2025. I looked after Oliver once a month for several hours at a time or sometimes for several days, and I cared for his younger sister Livian monthly for a couple of hours at a time. My responsibilities included playing with them, feeding them, going outside, changing diapers, dressing them, and providing overall care. I also took care of Isla (10) and Aava (7) from June 2021 to August 2021, where my duties included playing with them, making lunch, and overall childcare. Additionally, I have been caring for Roni (15) daily from August 2017 to December 2025, which included taking him to and from school by bike, preparing snacks and meals, driving him to practice, and staying overnight with him at home when needed.

The idea of becoming an Au Pair comes from the fact that my mother was an au pair in the USA when she was my age. She is still in contact with her host family, which I find admirable. I have always been interested in living in the USA and learning about the culture, so spending a year there as an au pair feels natural and exciting to me. The main reason I would like to become an au pair is that I want to improve my English skills, and I genuinely love taking care of children. I consider myself a responsible person and feel very comfortable working with kids. I am outgoing and approachable, which helps me get along well with both children and adults. I took care of Johan (11 years old), Taiss (8 years old), Maleek (5 years old), and Adria (2 years old) from September 2024 to November 2025. My responsibilities included picking them up from school, helping with meals, and assisting with homework for a total of 200 hours. I took care of Tilia (3 to 9 years old) from July 2020 to August 2025 occasionally. My responsibilities included helping with meals, picking the child up from school, and doing activities.
