Au Pair Toddler Care Services
Many au pairs are qualified to provide toddler care services in the United States. The toddler years are considered to be when children are between the ages of 12 to 36 months, or one to three years old. Therefore, these children require an au pair who is infant-qualified but also understands the special needs of toddlers. If you're in need of special care for your toddler, we can provide au pairs who have experience caring for children ages three and under.
Not only are our toddler care au pairs participants in our Regular Program, but they also have special qualifications that make them the perfect caregiver for toddler-aged children. Each of these participants has met our requirements for caring for children one to three years of age, and they have a minimum of 200 hours documented child care experience for this age group.
Choosing an Au Pair for Your Child Under Three
Many parents with young children under the age of three require child care services. If you have to go back to work, don't put your child in daycare. Leave them in the comfort of their home with a qualified au pair able to give them the one-on-one attention that toddlers thrive on. It saves you from having to drive out of your way to drop them off, and an au pair provides a personal touch to your child's life.
Caring for toddlers is extremely different than other ages. Older children can play independently, while toddlers still require constant supervision as they explore their world. That's why we ensure all our au pairs who are placed in homes with children ages one to three are qualified to provide toddler care. They have special skills and understand what's appropriate developmentally for toddlers. Your au pair will be able to take on important toddler care tasks, such as:
- Creating a daily routine
- Communicating with you, the parents
- Toddler-proofing and ensuring your child's safety
- Changing diapers but also encouraging potty training
- Exhibiting compassionate behavior and discipline techniques
- Overseeing feeding times and proper nutrition
- Leading activities that promote proper development and pre-school preparation
If you are interested in au pair toddler care services for your child who is one to three years old, contact us today. We will answer any questions you have and discuss au pair possibilities. You can also look below to submit your au pair application.
